Any lib?
Can some liberal leftist explain to me how Obammy will make life in our nation safer, wealthier, and increase liberty and freedoms? What plan has he advocated that would in any way result in this being the outcome of his hope and change yes we can empty cannard? Come on now genius libtards, give it a try instead of dancing to the whip of tyranny!!

Libya was giving up their nukes?
Dream on - no one knew they were going to do that - and it sure wasn't the result of anything Bubba and Maddy did. It was a combination of factors to include finding parts from North Korea on their way to the Middle East. An interdiction that will not happen under Obama as his lawyers will tell him we need search warrant signed by World Court judges - that will never happen.

http://www.globalsecurity.org/wmd/world/libya/nuclear.htm

Talks were underway, but they started in MARCH 2003 - hmmm, the same month we invaded Iraq. Obviously Ryan, there is no reason to believe the war in Afghanistan or Iraq had any bearing on his decision to give up the WMDs
The article mentions that Gaddafi was perhaps wanting to set the stage to secure succession for his son - yeah, and maybe seeing Saddam's sons on slabs in July might just motivate him to cooperate.
Obama would have let this happen Libya would have nukes by now - he cannot be trusted with our security

Obama the liar
In a new 60-second ad set to start running in 18 states on Friday, Sen. Barack Obama's campaign cites Public Law 110-181 when he talks about his efforts to extend "health care for wounded troops who'd been neglected."
He did not vote for its passage on Jan. 22, when he was busy campaigning in advance of the South Carolina primary.

"-Saddam Hussein-sponsor of terrorists and harborer of terrorists-DEAD
-His 2 Horrific sons- DEAD"

Big deal. He didn't have anything to do with 9/11. Let's look at this wonderful results another way.

4101 GIs killed in Iraq
30333 GIs wounded
Depending on the figure up to a million Iraqis killed.

"That's the result of the Bush-McCain foreign policy."

Yep, sheer stupidity of strategic proportions.

"-Omar Kadaffi- gave up WMD's"

Who is this? I've heard of Muammar al-Gaddafi who gave up his programs, but that was in the works prior to 9/11.

"-No attacks on America since 9-11"

Bin Laden shot his bolt on 9/11. I believe this because Bush hasn't done one thing to secure the border.

"-Taliban has no control of Afghanistan"

Yeah, right.

"Oh yeah, he gives great speeches in front of flags. Oh joy."

All of them regardless of party engage in this noxious behavior.

Obama States the obvious
Here are the results of the Bush-McCain approach to the war on terrorism...

-Saddam Hussein-sponsor of terrorists and harborer of terrorists-DEAD
-His 2 Horrific sons- DEAD
-Al Zarqawi-DEAD
-Khalid Sheikh Mohammed-one of the master minds behind 9-11 and murderer of Daniel Pearle- DEAD
-Mohammed Atef- mastermind of the embassy bombings -in Kenya and Tanzania- DEAD
-Abu Zubaydah- Leader of al Qaeda and member of Osama Bin Laden's inner circle-DEAD
-Ramzi Binalshibh- planner of 9-11 attacks-in custody
-Omar Kadaffi- gave up WMD's
-No attacks on America since 9-11
-Taliban has no control of Afghanistan
-Pakistan working with US Special Forces and British Special Forces to capture or kill Osama Bin Laden

That's the result of the Bush-McCain foreign policy.

Now, what has Barak Obama done since 9-11?? What's his foreign policy experience? What executive experience does he have?

Anyone? Anyone??

Oh yeah, he gives great speeches in front of flags. Oh joy.

Obama states the obvious...
..and silences the republican crackpots:

"I refuse to be lectured on national security by people who are responsible for the most disastrous set of foreign policy decisions in the recent history of the United States. The other side likes to use 9/11 as a political bludgeon. Well, let’s talk about 9/11.

"The people who were responsible for murdering 3,000 Americans on 9/11 have not been brought to justice."

"They are Osama bin Laden, al Qaeda and their sponsors – the Taliban. They were in Afghanistan. And yet George Bush and John McCain decided in 2002 that we should take our eye off of Afghanistan so that we could invade and occupy a country that had absolutely nothing to do with 9/11. The case for war in Iraq was so thin that George Bush and John McCain had to hype the threat of Saddam Hussein, and make false promises that we’d be greeted as liberators. They misled the American people, and took us into a misguided war.

"Here are the results of their policy. Osama bin Laden and his top leadership – the people who murdered 3000 Americans – have a safe-haven in northwest Pakistan, where they operate with such freedom of action that they can still put out hate-filled audiotapes to the outside world. That’s the result of the Bush-McCain approach to the war on terrorism,

Truthie..GWB,With Large Exec.Experience,

Lemme seeeeee...NOPE, not in a lifetime would O'Bammy have taken down the Taliban and freed Afghanistan from the Dark Age Butchers. He would have talked darn sternly to them, though. Maybe thrown in a Mister Scowly Face.

TS - GW was a Governor of
a large border state - that is executive level experience that Obama does not have and never will.

The last young senator that gave good speeches and became President presided over the Bay of Pigs and Nuclear missiles 90 miles off our coast. If Obama is elected, Israel will be attacked - and he will do nothing. But we will have "peace in our time" once those pesky Israelis are out of the way.

flip flop vs a reasoned change of
direction.

Obama supporters are quick to attack McCain for "flip - flopping" on drilling. It is not a flip flop - what makes sense at $2 a gallon does not make sense at $4 or $5 - (although if McCain and Congress had not screwed up they could have prevented or at least mitigated this) - nothing Obama is proposing will relieve the rising cost of oil - the largest increase in demand is China and India - nothing he is recommending will address that. Shifting to alternatives will take much longer to have an impact than simply drilling more in the U.S. Just announcing that we are going to drill at Anwar and other places will have an impact because the speculation will be that prices will go down and speculation is driving costs up faster than demand.
If Obama wins it will be Carter II - high prices, attacks on our country throughout the world, and a devastated economy - Bush III(actually IV with dad) would be paradise compared to Carter II

Look at how the socialist Dems reacted to oil today. NATIONALIZE THE OIL INDUSTRY. This is madness. This is pure socialism and never works. Why not use our domestic reserves that we know we have and will last for 100 years? Why not allow the 45 nuclear plants or even 100 to be built? It would be safe, clean and give us energy until Jesus comes!! Why not get this oil, coal, coal shale, gas which Obama says he will not touch, to protect our national security? Crist in Fla. said OK. Let us use the Gulf deposits which supposedly has 200 years of supplies. I just do not understand how these liberal Dems can call themselves, patriotic Americans when they do not want their own nation to be free of OPEC and other horrid foreign oil producers.

This kid is not ready for the job - he will be eaten alive by the same people that would put head scarves on every woman at an Obama rally - that will make it easy for his staff - no women on the stage!

Polls? you want polls? How about the ones that had Michael Dukakis up by double digits: "a June 21 WP-ABC poll shows Dukakis with a 12 point lead (51-39)". No way will the voters of Ohio or Florida put this rookie into office. His plan of slapping terrorists with subpoenas AFTER they bomb a building did not work before and it will not work now.

Foreign Policy
If the libtards like the posters above knew history,(which they do not), many fly over Americans will remember in Nov., that national security has to come first since without it, all those marvelous socialist programs, huge tax hikes, govt. run schools, health care will never happen. Perhaps even PL, who never gives any specific facts but does appear to be almost reasonable for a lefty, might agree that Obama is not in the 'mainstream' though he wished he were. And The National Journal did really list Barry as the most liberal in the Senate. By Nov., voters in Fla. and even Ohio are going to remember that. As Barry makes one statement after another about energy, national security, real voters, not the liberal elites who rule the media and universities, are going to gag, perhaps, and pull the lever for ole John. Sure, the Dems will retain Congress but perhaps by 2012, even those numbers will be cut. Remember, whatever is bad for America, is good for Dems.

And of course, all of the old fart retired generals on stage with Obambi are all of the "old school" who have proved they know nothing of how to defeat modern terrorist insurgencies, as does Our Man of The Year, David Petraeus.

BDS, turned MDS, now, hmmm? Well, let's look at it my way. Obama was a lamb of a lawyer that someone picked to run for Congress. Now he's a senator. With barely enough experience to fill a toilet. John McCain is by and large a politician who has been in Washington many years. Just because someone says he's never been "responsible for policy making" doesn't mean that he hasn't had a role somewhere. Again, your Messiah doesn't know jack, but you think he does. McCain has the mental fortitude and strength, and experience to do the job. Does it mean he has my vote, well, over Ovomit's purported "experience", yes. But not as a conservative. come down to, whether Barack Hussein Obama can be trusted with the National Security of the United States of America.

Off the subject, but i must comment on something Dean Barnett said on HH this afternoon, he said that Jack Nicklaus was not a good putter, Mr. Barnett, Jack Nicklaus was the greatest pressure putter of all time, when he absolutely had to make one, he did, in the 30+ years of tournament golf, he made every single one of them. Golf, Mr. Barnett did not start in 1997, i know you think that it did but your wrong, besides Nicklaus, have your ever heard of this guy, Ben Hogan, or how bout Byron Nelson, or maybe some obscure guy called Bobby Jones, just wondering. Also, I've noticed that you seem to make it a practice to say stupid things now and again, in the future, please confine your stupidity to things you think you know and stay away from any mention of golf, it's way over your head. Oh, that club championship you hope to win, is that for miniature golf? Are you right eyed or left eyed?

"His [Obama's] Ohio lead is 6 points -- he had trailed McCain by 4 points before. And then there is Florida, where Quinnipiac has Obama ahead by 4 points. Barack Obama has never before led a Florida poll -- not against John McCain, nor against Hillary Clinton -- so this is something of a watershed moment.

"If Florida is in play, then John McCain's defense is completely broken; it was the one traditional swing state that always had looked off-limits to Obama. More frustratingly for McCain, he had spent the better part of three days in Florida earlier this month, hoping to raise doubts about Obama among Jewish voters. Although Quinnipiac does not break out the Jewish vote, Obama holds a 61-31 lead in Southeast Florida, where most of the state's Jewish population is concentrated.
