Obama's Environmental Policies Could Hurt 2010 Dems, Too
|

It's not just health care that could endanger 2010 Democratic incumbents.
As several recent news stories indicate, the Obama administration's environmental policies may also be putting Democrats in a vulnerable position.
This is especially true, when you consider the impact regulation may be having on the economy and unemployment.
The Washington Times recently reported on how the EPA's onerous regulations may be harming business:
To appreciate the extent to which the Environmental Protection Agency under President Obama is a regulator reborn, consider this: EPA officials have begun to cut air pollution by invoking the Clean Water Act. …Long quiescent under President George W. Bush, the agency is churning out initiatives and regulations at a pace that pleases its friends in the environmental movement and frightens many in the business community. (Amanda DeBard, “Obama’s EPA is a regulator reborn,” Washington Times, November 4th, 2009)
Many of the recent articles focus on how the Obama administration's policies are impacting the coal mining industry in West Virginia. For example,
Since February, the EPA has placed 175 surface coal mining projects under review and halted 79 of them because of their effects on surface water. For 30 years, the agency did not object to the air pollution caused when miners blast dirt into the air to expose coal deposits. Now, invoking the Clean Water Act, the agency is moving to block, at least for now, the projects when they sully nearby streams with the same pollutant. … The agency also has, for the first time, revoked a permit for a surface mine because the project in West Virginia could violate the Clean Water Act. (Amanda DeBard, “Obama’s EPA is a regulator reborn,” Washington Times, November 4th, 2009) This appears to be putting Democrats in West Virginia in a vulnerable position:
West Virginia Congressman Nick Rahall II -- the loyal Democrat and friend of labor -- is squarely between those who want to restructure the American economy and those who see coal and affordable energy as critical to the nation's strength. His support for candidate Barack Obama in 2008 helped to put him in this tough situation. … Last summer, Rahall had a major role in the congressional drama that led to the House passing cap-and-trade legislation 219-212. The bill would impose costs on power generators for emitting carbon dioxide -- a greenhouse gas -- and make coal a less appealing fuel. With rumors surfacing back home that Rahall would have a serious challenger next year if he voted the wrong way, he cast his vote against the cap-and-trade legislation. (Dan Page, WTRF, “Coal, Rahall caught in political vice,” November 5th, 2009). It is being reported that this may mean Rep. Rahall has a "serious challenger:"
The whole state is watching, and Rahall knows it. He also must know those rumors are back about a serious candidate emerging to challenge him next year. (Dan Page, WTRF, “Coal, Rahall caught in political vice,” November 5th, 2009, These excerpts are focused on West Virginia, but with many states like Ohio and Michigan experiencing tough economic times, you can be sure this is not the last you will hear of this issue ...

Expect more of the same. GOP isn't going to win back anything. The GOP is declining and the independents grow in number because they like neither party. What is needed is a 3rd party with a strong leader that will tie the ex-GOP and the ex-Dem together(and don't even mention Sarah Palin as the leader) because there ain't no one in the GOP that can do it.
So what happens nationally is a huge NY-23 type of vote that the GOP can't recover from because they have no leadership.
America is screwed because of this. This is exactly why McCain lost. |

Ummm. You.
"YOU are the one who jumped through hoops to answer me didn't you?"
You mean the minute I spent on a Google search? Ahhhhh, you really got me there, Reba. You are so silly, you nutty Con you. Bless your little brain.
"I did go in and check it all out yesterday. You libs can be soooooo gullible! Tee Hee."
So lets get this straight: Cons pose completely ridiculous nonsense, convince other Cons that it isn't nonsense, then "tee hee" about it being all a joke. This can be applied to:
• Obama's place of birth (and yes, Hawaii is in the US Reba)
• Global warming (you'll tell us you knew about the warming all along, but tee hee, too bad about the coast line)
• Medical Insurance (tee hee, we wanted to see our own Red states suffer before admitting we are all broke)
• Limbaugh and Beck (please tell me that nobody listens and believes these nuts)
Now I feel like we REALLY been had. You mean that all the crap that comes out of a Con's mouth is some elaborate scheme to get the Liberal to look everything up for you? Sounds about right to me, after all, Universities and Colleges are Liberal bastions. |
|
Look whos the stupid one! YOU are the one who jumped through hoops to answer me didn't you? Remember.....he who laughs last, laughs loudest. ROFLMAO P.S. I did go in and check it all out yesterday.
You libs can be soooooo gullible! Tee Hee. |

You have me going for awhile. Even a Con couldn't be THAT stupid. Next time use some sarcasm quotes or something.
But just in case you're serious -- is a photo of Obama receiving his Juris Doctor degree while his classmates are in the audience enough for you? How do you think he clerked without a JD? What about teaching at the U of Chicago... do you think they didn't spot this Taitz error?
Please don't tell us you are serious. Do I have to help you out with the AWESOME Google that Cons seem to have trouble with? Also, I cannot seem to find proof that Carol Platt graduated. Seems it is simple to find Obama's graduation photos, but not Carol Platt's. I wonder why she is pretending that she graduated from Harvard? |
|

O.K. he attended Harvard. Now where the graduation picture? |

Sadly you may be right.
Dont forget the several million that already qualify for Medicaid, yet dont take it. They dont deal well with beaucracy, and cannot get themselves signed up. How is this pie-in-the sky thinking going to get them to commit now? Oh yeah, by threatening jailtime....and some new SEIU folks persuading them. |
|
You are out of your Batcave...
"Consider the possibility that I am in fact perceiving the "big picture," but that it is very different from what you perceive -- due to my wider experience in the world, training in and decades of analytical thought, extensive, wide-ranging reading, and quality education."
You have age on me. I can respect experience. Not sure what else you are offering. My 45 have been filled with the world also.
Born in Europe (opa was the other N word). Much of life was spent there. Even lived in Lebanon as a child.
Somehow the kraut brain can digest physics and math at your level. Its just not my profession. That'd be architecture.Stuck combining knowledge of science, aethestics, politics,et al to get Imagineering accomplished. Its fun most of the time. Stupid politics and rules (like FEMAs lack of discernment) make for needy children of Govt crying for more fees and paperwork every year. I
Speaking of "extensive wide-range reading", you never explained the Lib diet you were on a couple weeks back? Asking, because after 25 years of bike racing, physiology and dietary studies, its second nature. Feel free to ask about how you are doing on that. Vladdie says I have 2 brain cells. That means the median is 1.25-1.3 (do the math).Although, the march towards Idiocracy might make it 1.1?
If this downward slide continues, its time to move back to Schweiss. Not near Cern though. More like Basel or Zurich. Let me know when you're nearby. I'll take you on a long ride through the Alps. It'll be a lesson. |

SO
YOU want to know, OBAMA-Pelosi will create a million jobs building more prisions
Because, They are going to throw the Amish, and all of those who do not accept or approve of western medicine into jail too.
The days of alternative medicine are O V E R too.
Perhaps all of the practioniers can go build prisions for OBAMA-PELOSI
We can use them later when we get folks elected who will prosecute all of the corrupt criminals in traitor Obama's administration the democrat leadership in congress, ACORN, SEIU, etc.
|
|
NOW THAT IS HOPE and CHANGE
OBAMA is going to double your energy costs that is for the seniors the poor the middle class families (kids) To make Al Gore richer
Obama is going to tax wheelchairs, walkers, crutches, pacemakers to pay for abortions
DEMOCRATS, that includes you too. There will not be ID cards to see if you are a democrat to escape the double your energy costs double your costs of medical products
plus, your college kids will have to BUY Obama's approved $15,000. Health Insurance or pay the fine and go to jail.
Includes democrats
There will not be ANY FREE H C except for illegals and abortions.

"due to my wider experience in the world, training in and decades of analytical thought, extensive, wide-ranging reading, and quality education."
Supercilious as well as pedantic. |
|
"Munck; Also misses the big picture"
Consider the possibility that I am in fact perceiving the "big picture," but that it is very different from what you perceive -- due to my wider experience in the world, training in and decades of analytical thought, extensive, wide-ranging reading, and quality education. That your world-view disagrees with mine is much more likely to be an indictment of yours than mine.
"Will pick apart irrelevant issues"
Again, consider the possibility that your perception of irrelevancy is corrupted by your faulty and incomplete world view. |

The democratic party Have spit in the face of the people who elect them. Obama hates Anyone in America who wants to make an honest life for themselves,Black or White. Obama has surrounded himself with every radical nut job in the country. The democrats support Obama and his radical nut job adjenda.Obama is Against our Military so are the democrats.Obama and the democrats cant win anything fairly, They allways use corruption and bribery. After all the damage Obama, has done I dont think the word democrat will enter too many minds for quite a while. |

Hit the nail on the head like usual. It would be nice to have some liberals in here that would debate objectively. Unfortunately, it would not happen as NOTW has pointed out, but I guess that is the price we pay for a "dumbing" down of the nation. Interestingly enough, I used to work with a liberal, turns out he was an ex-Republican, more proof that a conservative can go liberal, but a liberal can't go conservative, anyways he was the one person that could actually defend his position without resorting to any of the policies utilized by some of the people here. He was actually interesting to talk to about politics, mostly because he actually knew things about politics. Shame that he couldn't be encouraged to join because then the intelligent debate you ask for would be granted. |
|
Liberals that were willing to debate honestly and objectively? Good luck with that here.
You will get marginalized often and they will try to engage you in emotions so you sink down to thier level (its happens to us all once in a while)...but otherwise, this is target practice. Have at it and don't hesitate to be blunt.
Some of the other regulars... Vlad; misses the big picture. Val; A left tool with no critical thinking. Axe,Eugene; simpleton POV. Munck; Also misses the big picture, but has decent science background. Will pick apart irrelevant issues though to get you off track. Sponty/Rachel/Jordan/etc; Was recently kicked off for her hatred and spew. She may return? A sure sign is her lack of control to call everyone an A--hat or Rethug. |

Spin that VA and NJ races "don't mean anything."
But wouldn't they have just LOVED to keep them in the blue column. If Democrats won they would be trumpetting the victories as proof that Obama's policies are on the right track.
The 23rd was a mess. I don't think you'll see that again, b/c local GOP bosses all across the country got the message: no more RINOs. But it's a mistake for Democrats to think that it signals republican dissonance. It's more like righting th ship. Nietzsche is reported to have said "Out of chaos comes order." In politics sometimes you have to stand on principle. No more RINOs....
I predict Owens loses that seat next year, when the GOP there will be more organized than they were this year. We'll see. |
|
Hey thanks for the good advice. I am new, at least relatively. But not too new to have read much of what sceptyczny's views are and how biased they are. Didn't know what you shared though about her reputation.
Wouldn't it be nice to have some liberals in here that were willing to debate honestly and objectively? Hard to do though when their politcial philosophy is: Republicans bad, Democrats good. Bush bad, Clinton/Obama good.
That's basically what it boils down to.
Thanx again... |
|
It wasn't just the govenorships in NJ & VA that have them wacked out on Jack and Vic it's how far down the ticket this went...and it went deep.
It's a start. But only a start. Momentum has to be maintained through 2010. |

"to go back to" is Nov.3rd. A 23 and 19 point turn around in Virginia and dark blue New Jersey in one year is all one needs to know, that you and obama are bout' as popular as a turd in a swimmin' pool. Live it up now, inthemajority, cause' America has begun the flush you turds down the crapper. Ya' folla".....LOl................... |

I wouldn't get too cocky there if I were you. If I'm right I know what Ronna's concern is over the Occidental years and it does present an interesting conundrum. Whatever the truth about Obama's eligibility to hold the office of POTUS it's not going to change anything now. If the truth ever comes out about the Occidental issues then it's likely to only prove one thing - and that's a well known fact now anyway - that Barack Obama is a consummate liar and fundamentally dishonest character. |
|

inthemajority, in New Jersey, ooopes! inthemajority in congress after 2010, ooopes! inthemajority again, not inyourlifetime! |

Then maybe you could give Corzine and Deeds a few tips on how to sleep at night.

I've been here for years, so please don't engage in debate with "sceptyczny". That's her handle this week. Before, she was forced out a few months ago for serial lying, she went by "kaboom". She was caught lying, repeatedly, so much so, that she is little more than the Townhall clown, the lyin' court jester, if ya' will. She is not to be taken seriously, ever. She'll lie at the drop of a hat! Hope this clears it up for you. To engage in serious debate with this liar, is tantamount to debating "Dr" Roxana Meyers. If you'll remember, "Dr" Meyers was extollin' the virtues of the obama's govt. option at a democrat town hall meetin' this passed August. Only problem was was that Roxana wasn't a REAL doctor!! A liar and impostor, just like our "kaboom". A lying court jester, yes. A serious debater, no. |
|
Oooppps. You're right. The crooks voted not to convict.
"Most people didn't care that he lied under oath"
Oh yeah... good one.. if most people don't care if x murdered y well then...... let x go. Works for me. Escpecially if you happen to be y. (just messin' w/ 'ya Kaboom)
And when you go to Sanfords's and the Vitter's you are done.

See you tomorrow Kaboom. Hit the bus back to Pacoima!

"And I hope inthemajority has reserved intheminority for her new handle." ------ I reserved inthesupermajority.
At least I can rest assured we will remain in the majority. In the near future I'm sure you will post some reason why you still remain the minority -- maybe something about how the poor in Red states like having medical insurance for the first time, and that's just not fair that the Dems did something the people wanted.
SC is one of those crazy Red states with some of the highest % uninsured. I bet they become at least a little less Red when they can finally visit a hospital without going bankrupt.
Are you from SC, Mr. Debs? |

P.S. I wouldn't be so quick to say Clinton would have been re-elected had he been able to run in 2000. Just b/c you would have voted for him doesn't mean the country would have.
Sure he left relatively popular, but there was this thing that was in all the papers a lot during the fall of 2000: it was called "Clinton Fatigue." Maybe you forgot about this.
Not saying he wouldn't have won...but a third term run if feasible would have been brutal, much more than 96 when everyone basically fell asleep over Clinton-Dole. What would have been front and center would have been his part in dragging the country in the lewinsky affair...economically things had slowed down considerably, and after 8 years of Clinton the country may have bbeen ready to move on. Sure he was, and still is an icon in liberal and international elitist circles. Doesn't mean the country would necessarily want four more years.
I don't put too much stock in approval ratings either. They're nothing more than popularity contests. If the country is going well (even if some things are simmering under the surface) then genrally the president gets the credit whether he deserved it or not. It's history that ultimately decides, not contempary partisans with bias as far as you can see. You obviously hate bush and have a blind partisan pit bull biases against him. But remember, Truman left office with about a 24% approval. Fifty-six years later he's now listed as one of the top five great presidents by historians. Sometimes it takes time to see the good men do.

Okay vote now. Foolish, or a liar. |

Writes: "Clinton would have been reelected in 2000 if he could have run. He was quite popular. Quite unlike W. But I guess the world is liberal, right? That's why they hate W and love Bill and Obama."
-- Actually the world is quite liberal. And they love Clinton for the same reason they love Obama: b/c he didn't ask much from them as a price remaining under the U.S. security unbrella. Sometimes leaders need to take stands on principle and risk the love and adulation they crave. Clinton cared more about his popularity at home and abroad more than he did making tough political and national security decisions. It's no secret he loved being popular and adored.
When there were tough choices to make, for example confronting the Islamic threat, insisting that North Korea show transparency and demonstrate a willingness to adhere to his international obligations BEFORE he received his goodies, Making tough security $ force protection decisions that were recommended in the aftermath of the OK bombings that could have put us in better position to prevent 9/11, showing resolve in confronting Iraq to live up to its U.N. obligations and terms saddam signed at the end of the Gulf War, Clinton punted. These are just a few examples, space does not allow me to cite more.
The irony is Bush paid for this at least in part, b/c he was less concerned about being popular and more concerned about doing what he thought was right (whether you or anyone else agrees)...And the only reason these things aren't talked about as much is, well, you know how that lib media handles things.
You confuse popularity with leadership.
P.S. before you attack me, I I should tell you I have a lot of respect for many things Clinton did. I know objectivity is a rare thing in here, Ive never seen it from you.
|
|
yeah, sure you don't care what libs say. You are a reactionary, all you know how to do is react.
|
|
you seem to have ADD.
You were complaining about the Congress' vote on a Saturday. I correctly noted that the Congress impeached Bill Clinton on a Saturday as well, all televised.
Now, you are correct, the Senate did not vote to convict Clinton, but he was impeached.
Lastly, Clinton would have been reelected in 2000 if he could have run. He was quite popular. Most people didn't care that he lied under oath. I actually did care, thought he should be disbarred as he was. Since what he did pales in comparison with the Vitters, Sanfords, Ensigns, and Craigs of the world, well, you keep jerking off to the concept that Clinton is not revered by many in this country and all over the world. Quite unlike W. But I guess the world is liberal, right? That's why they hate W and love Bill and Obama. |
|
I don't care what liberals think, never really have. I just want to see some of the more loony ones leave this board, is that so wrong?
Oh and trust me, when I am upset over something you little libbies say, (guess I've read too many Grisham books lately) you'll know. Mainly cause that's when I leave rational arguments at the door and start arguing like one of you liberals. |
|
Thanks.

Yeah.
Shocks you doesn't it?

What the left hasn't figured out yet is that Republicans (I'm a conservative first, Republican second), while greatly alarmed at what is going on in the country under the democrats, are nonetheless feeling good that many if not all in Congress are starting to get the message. I attended the 9/12 rally in D.C. It was an amazing event, nothing like the left tried to spin. I was energized.
Pelosi had to brow beat more than a few members to get to 218 votes. made it by 2. Some liberals equate this to a baseball game, i.e. "a win is a win." Not in politics.
I suspect there are a few vulnerable democrats who caved in to the Pelosi went home Saturday night and hung their head in shame. Also, imagine what she gacve away for their votes: Our money!!!!!!! That make sme mad but that's the way both parties have operated for decades.
I think it's clear to many people that the Democrats have over-reached. They mis-read what the public voted for in 08, mis-read why the republicans were voted out in 06, they're mis-reading and ignoring the warning signs from last week's election, and they're pretty much in denial with respect to the genuine anger out there on Main St. SOmetimes people need to learn the hard way, just like those RINOs that were thrown out of office in 2006.

aka "kaboom" is not an honest broker of ideas. She has repeatedly lied on this blog, and has been caught, repeatedly. Engaging such a one, is an exercise in absurdity. You couple that with the fact that she is a religious fanatic, and you see you have someone that should be avoided, not debated. Nidal Hasan has nothing on her and her fellow zealots in the chick party. They both demand total submission. They both are intolerant. They both use political correctness to stifle dissent. And they both are rabid in their devotion to their "God". Non-believers can have their heads removed from their torsos. The Chick party and Muslims, so much alike. No wonder "skitzo" defends Hasan! |

"I have spent 1 1/2 years trying to find ANY information on a year book from 1983 for ANY college in America that has a picture of Barack Obama in it, or the roster from either of the Universities with his name in it." Really? You have spent all that time, for what reason? He wasn't even president when you started, eh? What college did you go to? Is this because Missy Sarah couldn't quite catch on at any really decent college?

...your "HELP!" post and I think that your plea is a hopeless endeavor.
RonnaRonna says: "I am desperately trying to obtain a copy of the '1983' yearbook for Occidental college in Los Angeles from where Barack Obama is purported to have graduated. I have had no luck in finding one. I guess no one else graduated that year either?? Odd, wouldn't you say?"
Bea says: Well, Ronna....maybe they are all (classmates/professors) either deceased and/or terrified that some bizarre, life threatening illness could imperil their ability to continue breathing if their memories become precise and sharpley focused. Soooooo?
Ronna....You are, as I am, wildly in love with our wonderful Country; thus, we both want desperately to protect/secure our inalienable rights.
However, not (never) to diminish your passion in any way, but since we have gangsters in the WH; as a "bitter clinger", my ilk has a slightly crude colloquialism for your diligent efforts: "your efforts are equivalent to pissing up-stream".

If I had a dollar for every time I asked for proof or facts to support some of the outrageous claims I've heard liberals spew in here, but got no reply, I'd be able to take that European vaction I've been wanting to take.
They will shout over any request for facts, or at best throw in some irrelevant or erroneous bit of information.
For example, I asked one the other day where in the Constitution does the Federal Gov't have the power to compel citizens to purchase a service or product under penalty of fine or (for businesses) prison.
After some cajolling you know what I got for an answer? The "general Welfare" clause.
Truly pathetic.

-- Another mis-read of reality on your part. If conservatives are in a tizzy it's because we know how destructive his policies will be for the country. Anyone with any knowledge of economics would understand why.
But since you brought it up, tell us how Obama's getting his way in Congress. His Cap and Trade bill isn't going anywhere, and neither is the healthcare monstrosity that squeeked by 220-215. How much of a majority do the Democrats have? Right. It'll die in the Senate. All he's doing is uniting the Republican Party. So far, his only legislative achievement has been the Lilly Ledbetter Wage Law, something I'm sure hardly anyone remembers....and you say he's getting his way? Don't make me laugh.
Look around. The Republicans aren't divided, the Democrats are. Which party is energized? It's not the Democrats. Who turned out to vote last week? Wasn't Democrats, it was Republicans and Independents, many who voted for Obama in 08.
The ironic thing is, if Obama's had been willing to compromise with the Republicans even a little (embrace tort reform like he said he would when he addressed the joint session, join Republicans in supporting selling insurance across state lines, for example) he would have had more republican support. He didn't, b/c unlike Clinton, who did work with the republican majority, Obama is an ideologue who has yet to prove he can stand up to pelosi. Which is scary, b/c if he can't stand up to Pelosi then there's no hope in his standing up to Putin, and Ahmadinejad.
So tell us again how Obama's getting his way in Congresss...
You know what the pathetic thing is?: You people are in trouble, and you don't even know it. Or maybe you do and you just don't want to admit it.

You in all your supposed wisdom said this: Do it with me, Ronnie. Try "obama harvard graduation photos" and see if you can maybe settle down and become a more productive member of society. _______
First of all fool, my name is not Ronnie. Secondly, I have spent 1 1/2 years trying to find ANY information on a year book from 1983 for ANY college in America that has a picture of Barack Obama in it, or the roster from either of the Universities with his name in it. Now, if you can provide me and others of likemind with the yearbook with the photo or any other photo of him and the other graudates together at the ceremony, ..please by all means do so. Otherwise keep your ignorant nose out of the posts I address to other liberal fools on TH because all you guys do is scream, and p!$$ and moan but never ever present any documented facts about anything. Why is that? It's because you don't have any. PUT UP -OR SHUT UP. Oh, and for your viewing pleasure why don't you go to the site I provided above to hear Obama in his own words calling America a Muslim nation and professing to be a proud one as he quotes the Quoran. |
|
I suggest you review the Lewinsky impeachment stuff. That was also on a Saturday, December 19, 1998 (look it up). Who knows why? And it was on tv all day. Many more people could watch the hearings on a weekend day than on a regular day. Isn't that a good thing?
|
|
|
what I wonder is why the Occi thing is 'the' issue today? Which one of the talking heads raised the point? |
|
"yes, I'm sure the Dems are scared they really looked scared on Saturday night. LOL"
If they weren't scared...
Why do it on a weekend evening?
Why not in broad daylight during regular hours?
|

Obama started in Occidental College in Los Angeles, but he finished at New York City's Columbia University.
I'm wondering why the crazies and loonies are looking for an Occidental graduation photo? How stupid do you have to be to demand a graduation photo from the wrong college? Maybe Orly Taitz has a photo of him graduating from University of China or something. |

I DARE you to Produce one scrap of paper, a photograph of Obama in cap and gown, a copy of a yearbook from either college in the years he was supposed to have graduated, any eyewitness who will attest to the fact he or she was indeed a classmate of Barry Soetero or Barack Obama, a newspaper article, or any other offering of PROOF that Obama attended, or graduated from either of these Universities...and when you FAIL to do so, shut your brainwashed, upobamasass mouths.

Huh? You were not aware of the entirely AWESOME power of Teh Google! Here's how it works: you take your sillya$$ question that everybody knows is just about the dumbest thing they ever heard, type it in to a Google Search field, and maybe even use Google Images so you don;t have to strain yourself with a string of letters we like to call words.
Do it with me, Ronnie. Try "obama harvard graduation photos" and see if you can maybe settle down and become a more productive member of society.
I know, I know. Ronnie will not trust photos, articles, newspapers, photocopies, or first-person testimonials. She wants someone to visit her house with a scrapbook showing photos of that person with President Obama, sitting at a desk with a notary while holding the pens they used to sign the official "I told you I was smart" document made especially for Ronna. |
|

Obama getting his way in Congress really throws you 'conservatives' in a tizzy. Ronna squared's tirade is quite amusing. |

Cite where seh said anything like that for me. |

Capitalism, cites the Quoran, denounces America as a Christian Nation, and says we are a Muslim Nation. SAYS HE WILL NOT WEAR THE US FLAG PIN ON HIS CHEST. How the hell did this monster and traitor to the American way of life EVER get elected to be the President? Has 57% of America lost it's freaking mind???
I dare anyone who claims they are Christain or any other American to watch the video below, and then deny that Barack Hussein Obama is a Muslim - and NOT an American...because you can't be both!!!
THIS IS THE MOST TELLING VIDEO OF WHO OBAMA REALLY IS THAT HAS EVER BEEN MADE!

"Obviously, as you have so astutely noticed, it's a conspiracy. Every single person who attended school with Barack Obama has been intimidated by Obama's private army of Black Militant Thugs. By now all guns and Bibles have been confiscated, all children conscripted, and all elders threatened with health care rationing and euthanasia if a single former classmate of Barack Obama speaks to the media. Those who resist receive a personal visit from Rahm Emanuel who, after he has broken their kneecaps, forcibly injects them with Swine Flu vaccine."
Me- sshhhhhh, Ronna might actually believe that stuff, especially if her meds aren't working today. |
|
|
you are so afraid of me that you want me dead? Gee, that's amazing. Lame, and amazing. |
|
|
Probably because the health care bill passed the house and Obama is awesome. |

"any eyewitness who will attest to the fact he or she was indeed a classmate of Barry Soetero or Barack Obama"
TH's own Carol Platt Liebau would be one. |
|
Back in my college days, there was a story of a handful of jocks that got in a row at a frathouse. The jocks left, but were chased out into the street by a gang of frat boys over twice their number ready to rumble. The jock leader (most likely a center) counted the number opponents encircling him and his teammates. He spoke to the fratboys saying, "okay, you guys outnumber us two to one and are likely going to kick our Hindquarters (TH has even banned the Irish for that part of the anatomy).". The jock leader then began pointing at selected frat boys saying, "But you, you, you, you, and you are going to spend the night in the hospital!"
The odds suddenly became even. Sound strategery for political street brawls as well. |

http://hotair.com/archives/2009/11/09/michael-steele-some- white-republicans-are-scared-of-me/
Michael, Michael, Michael.
They are not afraid of you because you are a scary black man. You are not a scary black man. That is a stupid stereotype anyway. And it is obvious you are a nice guy. No one is afraid of you.
That is part of the problem.
Conservatives would feel better if the left feared you. Not for being a scary black man, but for being a committed Republican and conservative who was moving the party forward and putting the liberal agenda in jeopardy. Rahm Emanuel is a little yap dog of a man, harmless physically, but people fear him because he is a scary political infighter. |

Goodness me, Carlos, you haven't been studying your townhall.com and paying attention. Public transportation? Bite your tongue. Don't you know that public transportation is Communist? As one townhaller asked, "Why should I pay for public transportation when I drive my own car?". Tax money, diverted through government subsidies to public transportation, only encourages lazy people to rely on others to get them from place to place. Good self-reliant tax-paying red-blooded Americans end up paying for a public service, and, as we townhallers all know, THAT is Communist.
Real Americans move from place to place ONLY in their own cars, preferably large ones that gobble lots of gas (good for the energy business) and emit lots of pollution (just to show the hippie liberals who's boss here). This is the American way. The only people who travel on public transportation are those bad characters in the cities---ethnic minorities, poor people, old people---you know, all the losers.

Are you a dumber-than-heck talk radio lemming or merely a bored, uneducated, simple-minded moron with an AM radio and a computer? |

There's a difference between liberal and moron? I thought they were synonyms.
At any rate, let these Democrats keep digging their graves, just make sure sceptyczny gets thrown into one as well. |

they really looked scared on Saturday night. LOL. |

Everything that Obama does is bad for the dems. Just look at the polls. |

"With rumors surfacing back home that Rahall would have a serious challenger next year if he voted the wrong way, he cast his vote against the cap-and-trade legislation."
Rahall is not the only one in trouble in this largely democratic state, except for presidential elections.
I get a phone call every week from some long-time West Virginian democrat weeping and wailing, or asking how I knew what a rat-fink obama is. (They do blame congress first and obama second.)
My Daughter tried to explain something that has been set up in the store, but she isn't explaining well -- or I am too dumb to visualize it. Basically, it is something like a duck blind with obama crying out; "I'm not crook. I'm not a crook!" I'm sure there is a story there, but I just don't yet it. She is going to send me a picture, then maybe I will.
Interesting that the owner of the store is, so far as I know, a life-long democrat as are most of his customers. Daughter said NO BODY has complained! |

University' Occidental also has no records. |
|
I am desperately trying to obtain a copy of the '1983' yearbook for Occidental college in Los Angeles from where Barack Obama is purported to have graduated. I have had no luck in finding one. I guess no one else graduated that year either?? Odd, wouldn't you say?
If anyone attended Occidental College that year and remembers Barry Soetero, or Barack Obama, or has the yearbook with his photo in it, or the roster for all the graduates from that year, would you please come forward? Any of his Professors who remember him would be welcome to comment on his attendance as well.
I would like to enlightened as to just how Obama, Soetero or whomever he is, could have attended the school and left no memories with any of the other students there at the time.
It is also very curious to me that he has made no effort to produce the registration form or any thesis papers, etc., while he was supposedly attending classes there.
Is he a slicker-than-snot chameleon, or merely a liar with lots of behind-the-scenes help from a bunch of nefarious thugs who are assisting him in the Socialization of America?? You be the judge. |

Conservatives may not like every item listed but... 1. Build Nuclear Power Plants. 2. Get our own oil. 3. Require cars get 40mpg in 5 years. 4. Modernize public transportation and the infrastructure. If we did these items, we would solve issues regarding energy, air quality, national security/energy independence, and very important... all the oil revenue stays home which will strengthen the dollar and make America wealthy again. Too bad the stimulus didn't address even 1 issue. |
|
Maybe so (although I thought that was Mark Sanford, Larry Craig, Bill Clinton, Teddy Kennedy, et al).
Political vise is more like it. |

Proud moron is a much better moniker for you. |

So, we're going back to the old way of failure if the GOP has its way. Do you think Americans really want a "return to failure?" Hey, that's a pretty catchy slogan for 2010. |
|
The EPA is as signifigant as cat litter. For years with public support they were supposed to clean up toxic waste sites. To Date 90% of that work is yet to be done.Today the EPA is tasked with killing off the domestic energy industry.
For some strange reason the public is not behind that scenario. It probably has to do with the industries involved suppling jobs.At 10.2% unemployment imagine how far the EPA is going to get trying to push Barak Obama's socialist utopia. |
