Easter HamNation

I'm holding off on Peeps until next week, as Good Friday seems a rather somber time for marshmallow candy antics.

In the meantime, I'm putting together video from my trip to Israel. In keeping with the season, I decided to run this clip of me at the Mount of Beatitudes in Northern Israel on the Sea of Galilee. I, being one of the few Gentiles in my group, was made to read the Sermon on the Mount...on the mount. I am hardly as Messianic as the original orator, or even his present-day incarnation, Barack Obama.

I advise you concentrate on Jesus' words rather than the delivery thereof, which is somewhat nervous. Click to watch:

Very nice. By the same token, please do not focus on what you dislike about this, focus on the tremendous privilege you enjoyed for Easter 2008.
How many would love to have such an opportunity as you enjoyed...! Remember it forever...

I can't imagine what it must have felt like, standing on that spot and reading that sermon. I thought your reading was very heartfelt and respectful. You did a very good job and I really appreciate it. The Bible says we glorify God by glorifying His Son and that is just what you did. Thank you for sharing it and Happy Easter Mary Katharine.
