What is it about Obama that Attracts Hamas, Communists, and Domestic Terrorists?

In the 1990s, it was often noted that a great many of Bill Clinton's friends were either dead or in jail. Similarly, Barack Obama seems to curry favor with some very questionable characters ...
Granted, in some cases Obama disavows them (he sort of did this with Rev. Wright's comments). In other cases, he has not sought their endorsement (such as anti-semite Louis Farrakhan) -- but ultimately, people have to wonder what it is about Obama that attracts the support of Hamas, Communists, and domestic terrorists to him ....
This subject came up in last night's debate when a question was asked about Bill Akers. Obama served on a board for an anti-poverty group with Bill Akers of the Weather Underground. Just as O.J. Simpson's book, "If I Did It" was a shameless way to write about his murder, Akers published a memoir called "Fugitive Days," which he bills as "fiction."
As the NYT reports:
He writes that he participated in the bombings of New York City Police Headquarters in 1970, of the Capitol building in 1971, the Pentagon in 1972.
And here's how the NYT describes the group:
Mr. Ayers, who in 1970 was said to have summed up the Weatherman philosophy as: ''Kill all the rich people. Break up their cars and apartments. Bring the revolution home, kill your parents, that's where it's really at,'' is today distinguished professor of education at the University of Illinois at Chicago. '
But of course, he's a changed man, right? Wrong: In 2001, he told the New York Times, "I don't regret the bombings." Last night, Obama responded to questions about this by saying,
This is a guy who lives in my neighborhood, who’s a professor of English in Chicago who I know and who I have not received some official endorsement from. He’s not somebody who I exchange ideas from on a regular basis.
... But, of course, they don't really know each other that, well, right? Well, last February Obama's Chief Strategist David Axelrod told Politico's Ben Smith this:
“Bill Ayers lives in his neighborhood. Their kids attend the same school … They’re certainly friendly, they know each other, as anyone whose kids go to school together.” (Ben Smith, “Ax On Ayers,” The Politico’s “Ben Smith” Blog, www.politico.com, 2/26/08)
Well, if domestic terrorists aren't enough reason for you to raise a red flag about Obama, former Sandanista Rebel Leader Daniel Ortega praised Obama's campaign as "revolutionary."
Also, during an interview, a top Hamas political adviser essentially endorsed Obama, saying: “
We don’t mind–actually we like Mr. Obama. We hope he will (win) the election and I do believe he is like John Kennedy, great man with great principle, and he has a vision to change America to make it in a position to lead the world community but not with domination and arrogance…”
... So why do all these people like Obama? Is it that they think he's amenable to their agenda? Or do they just see him as "green" and inexperienced and malleable?
The question is: Do Americans want someone who -- at best -- is obviously viewed as so naive and easily influenced running the show, really?

They must wonder just how gullible Americans are to be fawning over a junior Senator with so little experience for President during a time when just the opposite is needed in DC. Our enemies are obviously licking their chops in anticipation of this guy. |

Obama is a carpetbagger. Obama has no link to slavery, his Black father was from Kenya, born and raised there. No one in his family was ever a slave in this country, Obama was raised in Hawaii and he has no link to the civil rights movement and never experienced discrimination like many Blacks have in our Southern states. Obama is not even Black, except by choice; he chose to be Black for political and economic gain. Here read the official definition of a Carpetbagger: a nonresident or new resident who seeks private gain from an area often by meddling in its business or politics.

I started thinking that very same thing as I sat in one of Carter's "gas-lines" years ago!
And to think we are looking at a possible return to the "Misery Index" should Obama somehow fool enough of the people enough of (and at the right) time. Sheeesh!!!

to be president by almost any standard. OK, here is what we know about him: He lacks a good self-identity, in other words he is unsure of himself and emotionally immature, still fantasizing about his irresponsible father, decided to reject the white family he has because they wouldn't measure up against his childhood fantasy of daddy, has experimented with cocaine, has spent his life hanging around riff-raf (Ayers, Wright, Rezko, Farrakhan's million man march), has been endorsed by The New Black Panther Party, Rev Wright, Hamas, is a pacifist, extremely pro-abortion, holds to Marxist doctrine, only has knowlege and loyalty to Black Americans and far left whites, is immeasureably inexperienced and ill equipped to handle the job of being America;s president.
He looks bewildered when asked any questions about himself and is only poised when he has rehearsed a script.
The thing that has grieved me the most is that almost every black american (even conservative blacks with a few exceptions but only a few ) indicates they support Obama because "we need a black, any black to become president because then I will be equal to whites. |

The one thing all these people have in common is that they hate the United States and wish to see its government overthrown. They only differ in their choice of the kind of government that it would be replaced by. It is only natural that they would hope for the worst possible outcome in the election. |

Barack Obama is a blank screen anybody can project anything upon. He tells everybody what they want to hear. And they want to hear Him telling them that! Because He will be the kind of black Man the Guilty White man rally around. Half white, but only claiming his black side.
Look, every American can find something about America they do not like. That definitely doesnt make US America haters. I think the tipping point is if there is more that you dislike than what you like.

'Joy' made an important point about Obama's answer to the question about his association with William Ayres. Obama quantified his answer by saying that "He's not somebody who I exchange ideas from on a 'regular' basis." (with 'emphasis' on the word 'regular') Someone should absolutely explore further: just 'HOW OFTEN' Obama has exchanged ideas with Ayres? ...exactly 'WHEN' he had these little 'idea exchange' sessions? ...'WHAT' exact ideas were 'exchanged' and on what political issues or beliefs? ...whether he (Obama) shares the views and 'IDEAS' with the former but unrepentant terrorist? ...'WHERE AND WHEN' he agrees or disagrees with Ayres! |

It's difficult to keep too many lies straight. Remember Obama has never really had to put up with a tough nomination process. This is the first time he is getting vetted and asked to explain some relationships in his life and how they impact his judgement/policy decisions. His foreign policy is based on 'I am half black and half white. My dad was muslim, my mom atheist. I was born as a muslim, now I am a christian. I understand all people because I am all people. I understand all religions because I have embraced all religions (except judaism). The man is confused and he can't give a straight response to the question - how do you know Ayers? Americans can't be so confused as to elect this fraud of a man. |

Obama welcomed the praise from Jimmy Carter who all but endorsed him (saying all his - jimmy's - friends and family are voting for Obama).
Jimmy decides to hug Hamas.
THEN - when speaking before a Jewish organization Obama distances himself from Carter's actions saying he would not meet with Hamas because they do not recognize Israel and continue terrorist activities.
YET - Obama has repeatedly and clearly said he would unconditionally meet and talk with Iran's leader Ahmadinejad.... who just recently called Israel a "filthy bacteria", rejects the holocost, and promotes the call for "Palestine" at the cost of removing the jewish people.

Ayers was not convicted, but he since has essentially admitted his guilt. Know why? Double jeopardy prevents him from being tried again.
And having Ayers help with Obama's fund raising is a tad more serious than, "being in the same room"
I assume you will claim next that Obama did not know of this man's history. If that is the case, he is recklessly ignorant. But if he did know and still decided to befriend this terrorist, then he has real issues.
Listen I do not expect you to listen to any reason on this topic. Obama is a rockstar to people like you. You will never see his questionable actions as anything but background noise. |

People who defend Obama do not see the whole picture:
1. Yes, he attends this church for 20 years but hears nothing hateful ever. Rev. Wright is not only his pastor, but mentor and like an uncle. Then, yes, he heard some radical statements but not the most vicious ones. Then, yeah, he has heard the most vicious ones but totally disagree with them and yes, if pastor did not resigned Obama would have left the church. Excellent piece of lawyering, Harvard style.
2. His wife of many years hates America and thinks it is a mean country, all the while she's been promoted to a newly created position (specifically for her) of VP for diversity (sic!), but Him? NO, the man is a great patriot, of course.
3. He is friendly with the terrorist but it doesn't mean Obama himself is a terrorist.
4. Yes, he participated in Farakhan's million men march on Washington but he did it only in solidarity with the oppressed black minority.
5. Well, he and Michelle used services of Toni Rezko who soon goes on trial in Chicago, but no, Mr. Obama is not part of any embezzlement or pay-for-favor dealings in the Chicago political world. He is absolutely clean.
So, if a man came from Mars, doesn't Sen. Obama's associations would look very suspicious to him? Why, the man from Mars will ask, have Mr. Obama associated himself with hate mongers, racists, anti-Semites, blame America first crowd, criminal money makers and unrelented terrorist?

Why did Democrats jump into bed with Obama so quickly? They get what they deserve.
Obama's whining notwithstanding, these issues of symbolism and associations are extremely important, especially when you consider how little we know about him. He can continue to laughingly dismiss these "trivial" issues. The fact is that he can answer these questions truthfully. He still hasn't answered why he never confronted Wright about his lies and hate. The Ayres matter will create a feeding frenzy.
The San Francisco comments showed him in his true light. He didn't misspeak. Nobody's twisting his words--he loathes a majority of Americans. The interesting thing is that a NY Times article by Larry M. Bartels ("Who's Bitter Now?" 17 April 2008) concludes that he's embraced a stereotype that doesn't exist. What a dope.
Look, Obama is like an attractive ceramic cat. You can put him on a shelf, and he seems appealing. But there's not much to him, and you can't play with him without breaking him. He's great in teleprompted events. He's great in the rallies when he's the only one speaking. But he's a disaster in debates, and he's a trainwreck in townhall events--let's not forget "punished with a child." He doesn't think well on his feet.
When you turn to issues, the other night he TOTALLY screwed up his capital-gains-tax answer. That, along with his tax returns, demonstrates he knows nothing about economic matters. Looking at the 2007 return just released, I see that his idea of investing is stuffing his dough in a mattress--AGI of $4.1M, no dividends, $1,422 of interest. Are you kidding? And on those numbers, only $240,000 of charitable contributions? Even the Clintons beat that. Wright has to be angry because he's taken such grief for a guy who's contribution not much more than $55,000 to his church since 2000.

I think the explanation for why Obama attracts all these terrorists and terrorist sympathizers is found in his OWN words, last week when he said that when folks are frustrated and bitter, they tend to fall back on the people and issues which are "comfortable" to them.
...thus, these angry, frustrated, bitter "blame America !" domestic terrorists, Israel haters, and various terrorist sympathizers all seem to find refuge in....Obama !

then when Obama was in his 30's he sought out Ayers to run for the state senate ... sat in his living room being annointed as the successor ...
in 2001 Ayers says in a story, "I wish we had bombed more" ... after that Obama serves on the Woods board with the guy ... what do you have to do to get Obama to not like you ? Be cynical ? Or own a gun ? Or attend church (not his church mind you) ? |
