Conservative Writers Screened-Out of Obama Calls?

Yesterday, I put in a request with the Obama campaign to be included on their future media conference calls. As you might expect, I have not heard back from them.
My hope is that the Obama camp does not choose to limit access to these conference calls by screening-out conservative writers. Stay tuned ...
Update: It is also interesting to note that Obama has ducked the opportunity to appear with McCain at Town Hall meetings. This would ensure that the public gets to see both candidates taking random, unscripted questions from the public. If we want to see them answer tough questions, this is the format that would guarantee it.

Ever wonder how an Obama type could fare against the leader of Iran when he probably could not stand up to a Rush Limbaugh type?
I've seen Republicans go to NAACP meeting. Talk about a hostile audience !
From a political standpoint it makes no sense to appear before a hostile audience. But the question is, do you want to be a politician or a president?
What will McCain and Obama choose.

is. He does not need to have Obama at his Town Hall meetings. Set them up so that HE answers questions. If McCain can do this properly, he will push himself above Obama in the polls almost instantaneously. The people in this country appreciate a speaker, even a less-eloquent one, who speaks from the heart instead of from the script. |

.....from a teleprompter or a prepared speech and this is his entire vocabulary.....
uh, uh, um, um, um, uh, HOPE!, uh, uh, CHANGE!, er, ah, um, HOPE FOR CHANGE!, um er... |

Of course, Obama is going to avoid real exposure in a spontaneous Townhall meeting debate with Mccain. When Obama is left to his own Unresource-ful mindthink, his words leave much to be de-sired. Off the top of his head, he is at a lost. The motivational speech master practices plagu- rism, adopts and repeats the stands/thoughts of great minds, because he is a Rookie in an empty- suit. His glib smooth talking forke tongue doesn't adlib well in a one on one, unscripted environment. He knows better then to let us learn who the real Obama is. Maybe the deluded illusionist doesn't know who he is? Get real Obama. God help America! |

A senator who misses 130 votes, and doesn't want to debate is a yellow-bellied uh....marxist!! |
|
He (or his campaign) will not allow himself to be caught in a free venue with McCain. McCain's too good at it, and Obama's no good without a script, unless he's spouting party line platitudes.
Although I'm not happy with either candidate, I'm hoping McCain gets in some good ones in the "debates" that will happen down the road a bit. |

Matt,
When Churches that support Obama (Rev Wright guest speaking) hires bouncers to guard the Church doors preventing non-members from coming in.... do you REALLY think TownHall is going to get on Obama's campaign conference call list?
You DO know Obama is known for "inartful" or "over-heated" rhetoric during the campaign. We'll just assume when he says he's a "uniter" - that too was inartful and that he REALLY meant he could unite liberals and the media outlets firmly supporting his campaign. |

Matt is a conservative? Who knew? I thought he was a spokesman for McCain. I guess in the Obama camp that makes him a conservative, though...

no Town Halls with McCain and no more than 8 questions ...
Obama is a coward ... a con man and a liar ... do you really expect him to actually allow himself to be fairly questioned ? |
