President Obama - zero executive experience, socialist, community organizer, friend to Farakhan, Ayers, Rezko, Rashidi Khalid, mentored by Reverend Wright (a guy who believes the feds. invented AIDS virus to kill blacks) for 20 years. Graudate of ACORN institute of community organization - (acorn is being tried for voter fraud???) but the president assures us they are honest enough to handle the census without misusing citizen's private information.
Secretary of State - married to Bill Clinton, and that is her entire foreign policy experience.
Secretary of Treasury - tax cheat who couldn't figure out simple Tax Turbo calculations but is now the ONLY ONE who can lead us into recovery.
Vice President - 36 years in senate without authoring a single bill. Spells JOBS as a letter word.
Speaker of House - believes if bailout does not pass quickly 500 americans will lose their jobs and that asking residents to prove citizenship when getting benefits funded by tax payers is UNAMERICAN.
I think AL FRANKEN will fit in easily with this crowd.

for my home state. While the F/M area endures a real flood, we all are about to endure the ravages of a legislative flood by (seemingly) filibuster-proof majorities for the Dems. America doesn't realize what they're about to face. As Sidney (above) recounts, there is such a dearth of experience in BHO's administration that it makes your head spin as to the long-term damage they can do to our economic viability, national security and resolve. |

....would've concedee his defeat with class two months ago. But it seems there ARE no 'self-respecting' GOPs so there's that. Instead, Coleman, at his Party's behest, has put politics first over country in a way we have all come to associate with the Republican Party. "Country First"? Just verbal GOP vomit and obviously means nothing of substance or character.
Of course, there's also the fact that Coleman faces an ethics violation that should've made him concede months ago just to save face for himself, his family, let alone his Party and supporters. What an utter d-bag.

Enjoy your time out to pasture. Perhaps you can reflect on your failures, gain insight. Probably not. |

Only a perfect idiot like the Jew-hating christian would applaud a win by Al "Err America" Franken.
Just what you Democrats need! ANOTHER completely unhinged liberal business-failure in the Senate!
Well, at least it's actually IMPOSSIBLE for the Dems to screw anything up worse. Pelosi et al trashed the economy before Franken'll be seated.
What is it with you folks and your weird attraction to ineffectual failures? |
|
I'll pass on Bush and Arbusto, Bush and the Texas Rangers (was that the team he owned?), thanks, and whatever else.
Bush is over. Stop talking about Bush. Obama has been the President since January. Bush was not a business whiz, we all know. Obama has NO- ZERO- NONE-NADA business experience.
We're on Obama-watch now. Turn the page, buddy. |

The fact the guy was on the ballet demonstrates that the people of MN deserve what's coming them.
What an aweful place to live. |

go AWAY , colman won the election and has had it slolen by dem theives who use 2000 election as justification to do so. There are now more votes in polls then were originally cast, and all the NEW votes are for franken . this election will go down in history as the most illegal dishonest and catistophic election in U S history. It will have cost not only the souls of those who perpitrated this debacle on america, but will cost all of us our prosperity for decades just to pay for all the waste and graft brought upon us by the dems in congress, and the socialist in thwe white house. And yet you continue to cheer, my god your parents must hang their heads in shame. |

Anyone who has heard this madman knows he is the least qualified person ever to hold a seat in either house or senate. The vitriolic hatred that spits out of his mouth will mix nicely with Harry Reids. Democrats hate people, Conservatives hate liberal policies. It is the saddest difference of all. There is a reason hate is a deadly sin. It marginalizes your thinking to a specific arena of thought instead of going into a debate with an open mind. Like Reid said one day one of Bush's term. "Don't even bother bringing a bill the Senate, it will be dead on arrival". And the Republicans are now called the party of no by the pundits. From day one every effort Bush made to do anything was fought to the death by Democrats and now they bash him for not getting enough done. Hypocrates on parade. I was really hoping Jesse Ventura would body slam him into submission. |

For the record. The Republicans controlled congress for 12 years since 1954. Census data says 70% of the country is Democrat. A little tainted by the blue dogs in the south but still a steep hill to climb. It's not thought or ideals that makes them Democrats, it is the bought and paid for welfare system that accounts for half their votes. "we will give you a check once a month and you aint gotta to squat", or "we will give you a safety net but with time constraints, and you must do something to earn other peoples tax dollars". Those are the choices. Human nature will take the freebies every time. |

As long as the appeals process is available and as long as the election-stealing Supreme Court (see 2000) is intact, Norm looks in good position to have his seat restored and his crooked friends absolved. |
|
|
Amazing how democrats find ballots hiding in their trunks after the election, Acorn must have been late for the drop off on election night. |

"certified crazyman" "madman"
Why exactly is Al Franken crazy, mad, or any of the other names he's been called here. Yes he's a liberal who is outspoken and controversial. Yes he's a former comedian and political commentator but does he deserve the amount of hatred and vitriol coming from people in the opposition. Cornyn said if the Senate seats Franken before all of his appeals have been exhausted it would be tantamount to WWIII. He admitted that this process could take years to resolve, is that fair to the state of MN?
As far as the election being stolen the lawyers have been in this since day 1 and have just wrapped up a trial. To say that this election has been stolen is giving the "liberal cospiracy" angle a lot more credit than "it" deserves. This election has been conducted out in the open (lawyers from both sides were involved in the recount) and in full view of the state media.
I'm not asking anyone to change their views on Franken (I will admit to being a fan of his comedic work but disagree with him politically on a lot of issues) but to respect our system of politics specifically the election process. |
|
Typical of your ilk - and even though you are 'careful' to not state your allegiance to the Party of Guns and Cowboy Swagger, I get your drift. Yawn.
I also know your TYPE, Tommy - the kind of guy who is all hat and no saddle. And small on virtually every front. |
|

I remember when California elected a B-movie actor as its governor and liberals laughed and sneered. They were much mistaken. |
|
Raeli's got you pegged as "ilk"!
Raeli, you call it "swagger", we call it "walking".
OH, and you're still a deranged nutcase in love with a President that everyone in Europe is sniggering at. So much for "rehabilitating our image across the world". The world may not have loved Bush universally, but at least they respected him. |

are happy, as they stoled another election. We concervitives just sat by typing our anger. We should have been in the streets of St Paul from day one. I am at fault as anyone. You see I trusted the courts, and the gov. Never again. I will work my hardest to get this sick pig out of the senate. All MN should be ashamed. Kirk |

"Libs are happy, as they stoled another election. We concervitives just sat by typing our anger."
Badly. |

EXCELLENT NEWS !!!!! Another Democrat Senator. Looks like Normie will have to get a real job, if he isn't indicted first.
Keep blogging away Rethuglicans - the real world is passing you by. |

nobody is listening to you. Not now and not for a long time to come. Life is sweet! |

get ready for embarassment, squared. |

You say no one is listening yet YOUR here listening. Odd. |

"....would've concedee his defeat with class two months ago. "
Funny, that's what I said about Al Gore in 2000, who was NEVER ahead in the 2000 election, yet libs still maintain the election was stolen. But this isn't really the same, is it? Coleman WAS ahead the day after the election...hmmm...it's statistically unlikely that a recount would come out with such a different result without fraud.
Whether it was election night fraud, or recount fraud, every Minnesotan and every American should WANT to get to the bottom of it. If we can't count on honest elections in this country, we truly are doomed.
My big question is this: How do we know the ballots that were found in the trunk (and elsewhere) are true votes by real voters? That speaks very poorly for Minnesota, I can't believe their voting system contains such lax procedures. That is unconscionable.

going for 6 years. People of Wisc. are served well by this, not.
I mean, I would be suicidal if I, like Coleman, a sitting Senator, were unable to convince my constituents that I was not better than a political novice who is ugly and not even that funny. Just like the national GOP is still reeling that it lost to someone who the majority of TH posters think is unqualified, stupid, incoherent, a socialist/communist/fascist, anti-white, racist, etc, etc, etc. LOL
You gop-ers are such losers. Get candidates who speak to people beyond the religious right, and you might win. |
|
"it's statistically unlikely that a recount would come out with such a different result without fraud."
As someone trained in probability and statistics, I'd love to hear your reasoning behind that statement. |
|
"are happy, as they stoled another election. We concervitives just sat by typing our anger. We should have been in the streets of St Paul from day one. I am at fault as anyone. You see I trusted the courts, and the gov. Never again."
Well, the Republicans were in the streets in Florida and the courts gave them the election in 2000. Were you complaining then? |
|
My reasoning? If the first count was a legitimate and honest count, I would think the recount would have nearly the same result, with possibly a few more or less votes for each candidate. How could it swing so significantly to one side or the other without fraud being involved (either on election night, or during the recount)?
I also find it odd that all those votes came from only 3 precincts that are strongly Democratic. My point was about fraud, not statistics. Can you defend it statistically?
|
|
"If the first count was a legitimate and honest count, I would think the recount would have nearly the same result, with possibly a few more or less votes for each candidate."
That's what happened. Surely one vote out of every 3,000 qualifies as "a few." The ballot scanners are rated at an accuracy of 1 in 1,000, three times the error rate that the recount revealed.
