Race Tightens on Second Ballot

Duncan 48
Steele 48
Dawson 29
Anuzis 24
Blackwell 15

Duncan and Blackwell are the biggest losers in the second round of balloting, Steele is the biggest winner.

Steele gained TWO votes. Dawson gained ONE vote. Anuzis gained TWO..

Duncan lost FOUR, Blackwell lost FIVE.

Biggest question for the third round of balloting is, again, who defectors from Duncan and Blackwell will go to.

Once those two drop, that will leave a whopping 63 votes up for grabs.

Duncan should not have run again
Only the GOP would even think to keep the man who led the ship when it lost two big election cycles. Hey, Duncan, even Terry McAuliffe stepped aside at some point. Winning is great. It gives you clout, and at least 1 or 2 times to recover from a loss. But, that time is up. None of these guys is my personal favorite. But, I would pick Steele, Blackwell, or Romney or former Gov. Racicot, over Duncan. Are there no women ready to take over? Thank you for the good work you did Mike. But, it's time for you to personally step aside.

Mike Duncan is a perfect example of the GOP's failures these past two elections. He MUST go. I'd prefer to see Tom Tancredo (former Congressman from Colorado). It is time for Mike Duncan to step aside, unconditionally.

Steele has too many pro-abortion ties(planned parenthood). Blackwell's supporters will not go to steele. Look for Dawson to make a surpise third round.

...supports Michael Steele. He had 15 or so votes in round 3 (and, as I recall, the leaders - Steele had 60 and Dawson 62 in round 3).
