Wow......
you guys are harsh. While I agree that it is slimy for Scott to come out after the fact, long after he resigned, I do believe he is telling the truth. The news here is......no news! Most Americans are now convinced that we entered this war under false pretenses and some Bush admin officials were involved in the Plame outing. As Scott said in this interview, there is no difference in what he told Fitzgerald and what he is claiming now. Publishing a book now is opportunist for sure, but no doubt in two years we'll have a book full of denials by GW or Cheney which will rake in the dough too. You have to face the facts that some members of this Republican administration felt themselves to be above the law and violations occurred, some of the worst kind, like treason. You cannot impeach a president for lying about sex and not impeach an administration official like Cheney for crimes against the nation. How can you possibly defend those actions??? So instead of addressing the message, you attack the messenger and the person hosting the messenger. Messed up. I don't like Olbermann either, especially his treatment of Hillary, but ignoring Scott's appearances won't make the truth go away. If we can't believe someone who was actually behind the scenes of this administration, how will we ever know the truth about any administration?? Where do we get our checks and balances?? The media sure isn't doing its job. The harsh words against Scott are weapons of mass distraction and will eventually fade but the message will still be there. The truth will last.

I thought it died months ago. NBC is dead, just like the Steam Automobile Industry, but they are waiting for the last drop of rusty water to leak from its boiler.

How far NBC has come since Huntley/Brinkley, Chet and David would be sickened.
