And So It Begins...

The 2012 race starts today!
"Mike Huckabee will be stumping in Iowa later this month — for his new book. But the inevitable speculation will connect the dots to whether he’s laying the groundwork for another presidential run in 2012."
After the Obamatrons have had enough with massive job losses, home foreclosures, freedoms taken away right and left, taxes through the roof, Obama's rapper friends trashing the Lincoln bedroom, Ayers lounging around the grounds learning secrets to use in order to blow up another building or two, his Islam pal Rashid whatever given free reign of the intelligence department, Obama selling America out to Rogue Nation leaders, etc., etc., etc., Huckabee will look very good indeed, even to those fools who made fun of him because he was a former preacher from the south and had an accent.
Watch his new show on FOX and listen to him as a FOX contributor and learn that he really does know his stuff. He never got a chance to debate during the primaries because the moderators favored Romney (an eventual joke with no chance) Jiuliani (who never stood a chance,) and Mc Cain (see what that got them!) Yeah, Huckabee will look mighty damm good right about then. |
He will clean up the mess Obama has already begun making of our lives. |
My comments are being eaten so here's to a third try.
As new to the Republican party, I will look into Huckabee. I think he does a good job on his Fox Show so am curious about his policies. |
...will be visiting Iowa soon as well.
Hmmmm. Lots better future than Huckabee..... |
re: Palin "'These people are going to try and shred her after the campaign to divert blame from themselves,' a McCain insider said, referring to McCain's chief strategist, Steve Schmidt, and to Nicolle Wallace, a former Bush aide who has taken a lead role in Palin's campaign."
This is from Oct. 25th. |

Laura I do love Huckabee, I love his show! He was my original choice. I do love Sarah Also, they both have that something special about them. Get back to the values? |
"I’d like to see evangelicals look for competent, qualified candidates who share our values, whether or not they share our faith or theology. I believe it’s wrong to oppose a candidate because of his faith (Mitt Romney), and equally wrong to support a candidate primarily based on common faith (Mike Huckabee, Sarah Palin).
Along the campaign trail I met so many people, including pastors and religious leaders, who could tell me only that their choice for president was a “good Christian,” or “one of us.”
This, in my view, is a dangerously inadequate approach to choosing our highest leaders. We don’t choose people for any other positions using this test; why would we apply it to one of the most important positions on the planet?"

Now there is a ticket. This could work or maybe even Jindal/Palin either one sounds good to me. I hope my the time the new President-elect Obama and the foot in mouth diseased Joe Biden get out of office we will be ready for the new and improved republican party. Our party for the greatest country in the world, even four years from now. We can streighten it out. With Huckabee or Jindal. But Palin needs to be in there with either one. |
He's the only one of the three remaining Primary guys to actually oppose the so-called Bailout.
He's Hard Core Conservative (http://www.ontheissues.org/Mike_Huckabee.htm)
And, he's for the Fair Tax! http://www.fairtax.org
I'd be fine with Palin/Huckabee, even... |
I hope the republicans don't blow it again. we need someone to communicate our ideas...plus the FairTax...There is no greater communicator in the republican party then Huck. |
an excellent beginning and a destination as well. We have ample time reorganize and these leaders have invaluable insight into how we conservatives can rescue this great nation from those who engineered this bloodless socialist/marxist coup. The democratic organization is essentially disorganized and incompetent, and will collapse under the weight of its own ineptitude. |
As in the "Road Pictures", starring Dorothy Lamour, Bing Crosby and Bob Hope: #1. From "The Road to Singapore", when the guys finally reel in a swordfish after several hours: Hope: "He won't give up! He must be a REPUBLICAN!"
and #2. From "The Road to Morocco": Crosby: "When you're dead, you stay dead." Hope: "Not Aunt Lucy, she was a Republican." |

May God save us from the likes of the Huckster. |
You make a invalid assumption.
Huckabee's religion is not the only reason that people support him. Until you get over this, you will never understand the Huck phenomenon.
He is a conservative, through and through. Period, End of discussion.
He is far more than a Baptist, just like Romney is far more than a Mormon.
He is the one to beat in 2012.

I found Huckabee to be by far the most charismatic candidate during the Republican primaries. I think he alienates a lot of the libertarian minded republicans that are important to the success of the party. If Huckabee wants to be successful in 2012 he needs to learn the phrase when asked about social issues "I want the federal courts, congress and the presidency to leave that issue to the states." |
ANYONE but a Conservative Republican!!!!! They HATE us. They use us but they then try to run us out of the party till next election. Reagan showed the path to victory and so did Newt. HAVE SOME KIND OF PRINCIPLES and then STICK TO THEM!!!
We keep getting RINOS more concerned with getting good press and "avoiding partisanship" than in WINNING. Losing is half the battle as well, let's try winning FOR ONCE!!

Only those willing to uphold the rule of law and defend the borders need apply.
That's why McCain lost. |
