This is a more "admirable" attempt by a thug seeking redemption:

HE CAN GIVE UP HIS BUT HAS NO RIGHT TO TELL ANYONE ELSE WHAT THEY SHOULD DO!
The Constitution gives me the right to own and bear arms, and the only way anyone will ever take mine is...........
ONE HOLLOW CORE B U L L E T A T A T I M E! |

...nobody's forcing gun ownership on anybody. There is only the individual RIGHT and FREEDOM to own guns. The danger is that when lefties glom on to a sentiment about "giving back", they really mean "coercively confiscate" or "ban under severe penalty" using the power of Big Government. |
He's not addressing duck hunters in Minnesota, is he? He's talking to criminals and would-be criminals. So more power to him.
Notice that he's also not saying "we should pass laws to take people's guns away." He's saying, "Those of us who got guns for illegal purposes should give them back." Who can argue with that? |
...I'm glad you agree with my point, for once. You obviously agree that the 2nd amendment explicitly guarantees the individual the right to own and bear arms. Big Government has no place banning or confiscating arms from righteous citizens. Thank you! |
after the fact! So this clown got caught and now "discovers" the virtue of "gun control!"
Vlad try re-reading his statement. What do you think he REALLY means by the following: "Now is the time to support good legislation... Now is the time to give back our guns." |
I hope every thug gives up his guns, it will never happen, but thank God we don't have many thugs up here to worry about. |
I'm trying to start up a business selling rocket-propelled grenades launchers. I know a few people who are interested. Would you like to go in with me? You do agree that the government has no place banning arms, don't you?
If this gets off the ground, I'm going to start assembling suitcase nuclear bombs. They don't cost that much to make, and do you know what you can sell them for? |
"Now is the time to support good legislation."
Don't you support good legislation? I do. I think all patriotic citizens should. |
of choice during hunting season, is the rocket propelled grenade launcher. |
Can't you come up with something on your own instead of reverting back to the old arugment Rachel uses that I am someone called wonna? And as per ymost of your posts, you didn't address the original theme of my post. Yep, I really gave you more credit than you deserve. And what subject was Homer replying to me on? They go by too quickly and since I'm not on here around the clock I find it hard to keep up with them all. |
Where can I place an order for a double barreled rocket launcher? I have a pesky squirrel, thats pretty elusive, and a single barrel is not enough. |
on the keyboard! Ah yes, "good legislation!" Another drooling drone triumph in ambiguity! Such a feel for the legislative process! And after the "good legislation" has been passed all the guns will be collected because the community organizer cares so much! Yes, I now see that you and the community organizer really have a grasp on the 2nd Amendment of the US Constitution! |
"Yes, I now see that you and the community organizer really have a grasp on the 2nd Amendment of the US Constitution!"
So, ya wanna buy a shoulder-fired anti-aircraft rocket? The market's not real strong around here, but I think we could find some qualified customers in Arizona or New Mexico. Can you help out? |
...always trying to sound so reasoned, but always failing so miserably. But as soon as your business goes public and issues stock, let me know. I'm in on it.
Also, let me know where to acquire the grenade launchers. As a personal choice, however, I must refuse the nukes - afraid I have no place to store such devices safely. |
The punk is just sorry he got caught. He would still be packing heat if he could. Send him to the big house. |

What is admirable about encouraging Americans to submit their God given rights to elected people who decide by fiat? Why isn't it immoral to tell a citizen (Rapper T.I.) he can not have 1.his private property and 2.a weapon to protect himself against criminals and a tyrannical government.
There is nothing admirable about Americans consenting to be slaves of a socialist Government looking to become God. |

Weapons such as RPG, grenades, shoulder fired or shoulder launched missiles of any kind (antitank or antiaircraft), and especially suitcase nuclear demolitions are not arms...they are considered ordnance or destructive devices. Arms, as defined by USC 18, part I, Ch. 44 § 921 are any weapon which will or is designed to or may readily be converted to expel a projectile by the action of an explosive; the frame or receiver of any such weapon; any firearm muffler or firearm silencer. In short the Second Amendment allows lawful citizens to possess and carry any handgun, rifle, or shotgun, and includes personal machineguns and fully automatic weapons. |

Well, why doesn't that cover an RPG or a sholder-launched missile? And the Federal Code isn't the Second Amendment. USC 18, part I, Ch. 44, para 921 can be modified at any time by majority vote. |

"I'm sure homer will appear soon and make his intentions, and claims known. Somthing about your "racial views" or something."
Frank, life is easier and much more pleasant when you take responsibility for your own actions and the false statements you make about others and post here at Th. Better to be insistent than insistently dishonest. |
So, you weren't trying to get me to respond to your posts so you could call me a racist as Frank said? |

Bold and insightful post; The authors clarity on the issue of web activism and truth it brings to bear on the prospects for the future give us all reason for hope. The question is: Are people ready to hear the good news yet? I for one AM!
Way to go, we' re all behind you, and were all in this together.

"It just represents the type of high profile cases that cultivate PR for anti-gun advocates which opponents of gun regulation simply don't have."
Yes, I'm quite proud of the fact that our pro-civil rights groups do not have such an example. It seems odd that the author would feel that the pro-gun pro-civil rights organisations and folk are proud that we don't have a convicted felon as a hero!
He should have been legal. Then no problem...Now that he's been busted, he cut a deal to offer a liberal message that balances with the anti-gun groups including our savior BO and his cabinet full of anti-gun appointees. Look at what's coming at you folks.....it's gaining steam! |
