Protesters are disrupting the Big Three hearing, yelling "The bailout is a sellout! The bailout is a sellout!"

Bailout or Sellout by Average Citizen
There is a Bailout or Sellout plan that an average individual has written and I believe it has a lot of merit. It is well worth your time and review. After all, if Joe the Plumber can contribute, why not average Bruce the Citizen.

To review it, please check out this web site:

A New Car In Every Garrage
Every person I talk to wants the big three automakers to go bankrupt and not survive on taxpayers charity. They have no sympathy for an industry and their employees that have been overpaid for too long. American made cars are overpriced and most auto workers earn 100 thousand bucks yearly if you include their benefits. is a phoney session now taking place in congress that will bail out the big three with 35 billion of taxpayer money on the promise that they will change their ways. A leopard never changes its spots and the American auto industry will never become profitable.

The lifting of regulations on automobiles entering the U.S. if lifted can drive the price of a standard 6 cylinder automobile to under 7 thousand dollars. This can happen if the free market is allowed to flourish in the auto industry. But greedy manufacturers are in collusion to keep the prices at almost unaffordable levels. This wrong has to be corrected and the American public should be given a chance to buy a decent car at half price. There is a conspiracy to keep the global prices of cars twice as high. We can buy autos from foreign car makers for half the price if American car makers would mind their own business.

Most people in the service industries are now forced to peddle to the bus stop because they cannot afford the high prices of an auto. This is not fair because every working person should be able to afford to buy one. In the 70s even the guy stacking the shelves in the store had a car. The drive in movies were filled with low paid people and they all were in a car with their girlfriend and a bag of fries. Things have changed and I would like to know why.

Where have they been?
This type of group was needed before the very first vote on the bailout. Such a group should have camped out 24/7 since then. It would have made news and kept people thinking.

The same group should be carrying signs saying "Stop the Cover-Up" -- of the Fannie/Freddie role in creating the crisis, which includes the corrupt lobbyist ties to Obama, Dodd, Frank, Schumer, etc., and their left-wing ideology of "affordable housing" (and now we want to lower mortgage rates to make homes more affordable again...do these guys have brains...?) Waxman, who is now even more powerful, focused the pre-election "investigation" of the causes of the crisis almost entirely on the private sector, trying to brainwash the public into thinking the private sector was to blame (and therefore, that socialism is now required...).

Conservatives/Republicans need an effective way to get this second issue back into the news and keep it on page one until the Democrats buckle and are held accountable -- either through investigations or a bad election cycle. While many people have become numb to the astronomical price tags for the various bailouts, there is still a lot of buried anger to be tapped. Obama tapped the left-wing anger (against Wall Street greed) with the help of the media, but McCain did not tap the center and right-wing anger at government distortion of free markets (viz., politically correct mortgages). Success in this area will lead to gains in the next election. But Republicans don't have enough clout to raise the issue in the Federal government, so it's up to the pundits, journalists, talk show hosts, etc. to get the job done. The FBI investigation is a wildcard. Wouldn't it be nice if the findings nailed a few prominent Democrats.

Amanda, can we count on you to press issues like this? You have the platform.

speaking of nutjobs...
I heard Medved today describe the congress people as "patriotic" for bailing out the finance industry! He is losing it. What kind of Orwellian speak is this? btw- Dodd said that the Founding Fathers would be all for it...

One more thing windowcleaner
Is your analogy of group think IQ also referring to the gay whack jobs that are beating up on little old ladies in California for supporting traditional marriage, or does that not count as mob mentality when its your side doing the deed?

Liberalism is a mental disorder!

At least Fox News gives us real news so people can make up their own minds. As evidence, I refer you to the latest Zeigler poll that proves that Republicans are far more informed about issues and candidates than are Democrats.

Besides, what part of "the bailout is a sellout" is not true? We on the right totally opposed the Wall Street bailout. We made our voices heard loud and clear. What happened then? Our candidate went to Washington and supported what he knew was rejected by his base, thus he lost the election.

Your side voted for a cradle to grave nanny state.
