How are you feeling, Keith Olbermann?
Posted by: Mike Gallagher at 8:03 AM
Ordinarily, I would never recommend MSNBC viewing to anyone. After all, when I'm not hosting my radio show or writing for Townhall.com, I work at Fox News Channel as a contributor.

But if you happened to be Tivo'ing MSNBC last night after Sarah Palin's home run speech, you MUST check out poor Keith Olbermann. After fawning and gushing and salivating over the Democrats during their convention in Denver, Keith looked and acted last night like he had swallowed a fish bone.

I mean, this guy was mad.

Pathetically trying to use words like "condescending" and "saracastic", he did his best to demonize the woman who might just have become the most beloved female politician in one fell swoop.

His pursed little lips were pursed tighter than ever. He was clearly aggravated and mortified that the GOP had such a great night.

Watch it. You'll love every second of it.

K. Olberwoman and PMSMSNBC
A typical reaction from the failed sports newsreader K. Olberwoman. He now spouts his Marxist rants to about 1/10th of one percent of the American public (his listeners on PMSMSNBC minus the number of conservatives watching just to get their blood boiling).

As for PMSNBC, a Jacksonville, Fl. talk show host made an appearance on that so-called "network" a few years back. He debated a radio host from the now defunct "Hot Air America" radio network. His on-air side-kick asked him a great question, "Why would you agree to appear on a cable channel that no one watches, to debate a radio personality that no one listens to?"

That exchange was played locally in J-ville for months. I still think it's a classic, lol.

Truly Sad
It is very sad the shape MSNBC and NBC has become due to such a hack like Olberman. He almost messed up ESPN but was fired just in time for it to be saved and here a good name like NBC has fallen to this man who from what I have read keeps everyone scared of him that he might get the next person fired from the station. This man could be only involved with shoveling manure from the stinkiest horse barn. He is nothing better and nothing less..

Maybe it is Just Me
Talk about mean - Sarah Palin is lovely, articulate, special in every way - she is definitely not mean. Now Olbermann - look up mean in the dictionary and his photo is right there - he is mean, horrible, crazy at times - frightening that this man has a national spot on a TV channel. Matthews is right there with him.
Go Sarah!!!!

Mean
Sarah Palin was mean? She defended herself from sordid attacks and she's mean? I think I get it. If you say anything that doesn't put Dems in a good light it's now considered mean. I mean really that's what it's come to. Oh she put down community organizers. Actually she compared her early experience as a mayor to that of a community organizer with more responsibility. It that really mean? You guys were attacking her for being a mayor and she basically said "If your attacking me for that then you are attacking yourself because it's a lot like a community organizer." That's not mean...it just exposes your hypocrasy! However, I guess that's the point. If you expose Democrats you are by definition being mean because it doesn't help their cause. What's more this tired accusation against Rush Limbaugh as being mean is such a myth. I would guess most liberals have never listened to entire show and just rely on the fact that they've heard he's mean. I've never understood it, Rush definitely things Liberal thinking is wrong and naive, but he almost exclusively uses humor in exposing it. In all the years he's been on he almost never gets mad about things. He makes fun, but he doesn't get angry. Compare that with Olberman, Randi Rhodes, etc. and you'll see a huge difference.

But Limbaugh, Hannity, and a Coulter (and many

hit it big with the Right. Political stances

What on Earth are you talking about? I get it...you're a liberal and you want Obama to win, but why on do you guys have to flat out lie with every breath you take? "Liberals don't like mean?" That has got to be the most insane double speak i've ever heard. Liberals really do subscribe the Big Brother theory of terminology. Think about it. "Fairness Doctrine?" It's not about fairness, but boy it sounds nice. "Pro-Choice" not "pro-abortion". After all, who could be against "choice". And now "Liberals don't like mean." I'd suggest you read the Kos or Moveon, where they make the insults hurled here look like a Disney movie, but I know you're lying so why bother.

They're like a bunch of lazy freshmen who like to sound intelligent by parroting what the professor says but they have yet to form an original idea. The difference is that most freshmen, who complete college, learn to think. The MSM are still waiting to be told what to think next!

The American people will see through your circus.

Why the mainstre media hates Sarah Palin
They hate America, and Sarah Palin represents what is BEST about America. She is America.

She's what feminists wish they were (successful without the help of a man, making it in a man's world), but she's pro-life and a hottie (two things that would disqualify her as a feminist).

Keith, that sharp pain you're feeling in your stomach is an im-palin...it should be followed by bloody stool.

I'm a registered democrat and a woman. From the very beginning of the campaign the media treated Hillary bad and now they're doing the same thing to Sarah Palin. I think it's stupid when they ask a question like "was Sarah Palin the strongest choice in the republican party for VP"? Well, shouldn't we be asking the democrats the same thing when it comes to Obama, especially when they had Hillary? And to see Keith Olbermann squirm last night was priceless. It looked like he was chewing glass. But what do you expect from a biased news network. I'm done with the democrats and voting Republican. Go Sarah!

I believe anybody can run this country as long as they are having qualifications and met the requirements, beyond race and skin color.

Deluded Liberals
It is funny to see the Neo-Communists try to hang the "Ultra-Conservative" and "Extreme Right-Wing" labels on Sarah Palin.

A woman who believes in lower taxes, education choice, and will raise a down-syndrome child rather than murder it - that's not a Right Wing Extremist, that's an upstanding American.

She only looks extreme because the National Socialists wallow in their own filth constantly like pigs. They console the few pangs of conscience that come through their drug-dulled minds by telling themselves that no one can be expected to be a decent person. It is too hard to raise a special needs child, to choose life over infanticide, or to live without Big Brother controlling everybody's lives - in their minds. If those "truths" of the Extreme Left that populates Big Academia, Big Law, and Big Media are proven to be lies it undermines their entire paradigm and leaves them with the one fact they are TERRIFIED to confront: they are nothing but failures, quitters, and selfish fools trying to drag everyone else down to console themselves.

OK, so if over 50% of the people are right about their choice of the last couple of elections, I guess that means she's in that % that got it wrong AGAIN. Not that intelligent. Read & heed. History will prove & show that GW made the right decisions & will go down as one of America's better Presidents. You libs just won't learn. The average American can't stomach what you stand for and your bizarre ideology. They aren't ready to kow tow to a leader that would be more worried about being liked by leaders and the populace of countries that don't have our best interest at heart or what would be best for Americans. How great would this be if we actually had a conservative on top of the ticket with Sarah Palin as the VP nominee?

This should be the so winnable it would be a landslide. The Dems put up the most liberal, inexperienced, radical nominee in their history, and we counter with Senator Stick-In-The-Eye.

Sarah is exactly what the conservative movement is aching for. Too bad McCain is standing between her and the rest of us, which was brought back to the forefront last night when he showed up on the stage and figuratively poured cold water all over the enthusiasm Palin had generated - at least for me.

No Matthews/Oberman
I watched Brit Hume exclusively. Oberman is just sad - he's a cheap Bill Mahr (which is pathetic). Matthews is just weird: sending shivers down his leg at an Obama speech. "too much information".

Hume cracked me up though, when he read the Obama response to Palin's speech. Something about McCain voting 90% w/ Bush, this is Bush's third term blah blah blah... Hume then says, (paraphrasing here): "I know this is the Obmama's intial response maybe we give them a little more time and they can come up with something a little more creative". My wife and I were cracking up!

Danger Barack Obama Danger!
Last night’s polling shows that, by a ten-to-one margin, voters believe reporters are trying to hurt Palin’s campaign rather than help. Republicans and unaffiliated voters strongly believe that a double standard is being applied to Palin because she is a woman. Democrats disagree. Perhaps most stunning is that, among unaffiliated voters, just 42% believe Obama has better experience than Palin to be President. Thirty-seven percent (37%) say Palin has the edge on experience. Again, most of the interviews for this survey were completed before Palin’s well-received speech last night.

One stated knock-out punch, one not...
A great line from Sarah's speech was something like "Obama wants to use Washington to change America but McCain wants to use America to change Washington." Brilliant. And so true.

There's another one floating around that made a stronger point, but might have been too edgy for the speech: "Obama wants to raise taxes and kill babies but McCain wants to raise babies and kill taxes."

Yep, PMSNBC guys are just about wetting themselves they are so mad. I love it. Keep the faith, Mike!

MSM
I do think the MSM dislikes America. For one thing they are very anti-military which means they would prefer the US to cease being the most powerful country in the world. Liberals want the US to be the most liked country. In order to be in that category we need to put down our weapons and become a socialist country that makes everything even and fair. The image of the US being a tough guy embarrasses them since the need to use force goes against all that they believe is right. I have a very liberal friend that told me just before we went into Iraq that she would rather die knowing she was not the one to make the first move. The idea of being pro-active even the face of being wrong makes her not want to be an American. Sadly, she can hold those feelings because the military has always been there for her allowing her freedom of speech. She just doesn't get that correlation.

Oberman and Matthews were the gushing teenage girls while at the Democratic brouhaha...but last night was great to see. I will say though, Matthews, although clearly pierced through the heart, was almost magnaminous (sp?) in his report of her speech. Some of the comments he made were probably the most intelligent ones I've ever heard him make. (I know, that's not saying much). Sinking Ship
When your ship is sinking, you grasp at anything. When you can't really criticize the content, you have to criticize SOMETHING--or at least that's how the liberals operate!

For instance, this morning on one of the liberal media shows--MSNBC or CNN--can't remember which, they sort of run together in my mind--they were tearing down Levi--Bristol's fiance'! Something about what he had posted on his MySpace account! Give me a break! He's a teenager--a hockey jock--what do you expect him to post? Does that mean Sarah can't run the country?

Come on media--get your heads out of the sewer and come up for a breath of fresh air!!

You GO Sarah! Keep making history!
