Obama's Team Warns of Consequences of a "Stolen Election"

Everyone better get ready for a whole lot more of this:
Democratic consultant and Obama operative Glenn Smith warned that any effort to reverse Mr. Obama's growing delegate lead would look like a stolen election – regardless of how Clinton supporters spin it.
"You can make rules arguments, fairness arguments, an 'I'm tougher' argument. But you can't get over the practical consequences of what it would mean in November to take this nomination from the first African-American in history to have earned it," he said. (Emphasis mine)
As compelling as Hillary's argument is, there is no doubt that her attempts to seat the Florida and Michigan delegates, as well as win-over Super Delegates by arguing she has momentum, can win the swing-states, etc., will be viewed by many -- especially African-American Obama supporters -- as an attempt to "steal" the election. (We assumed that, but now Obama's campaign is implying they might help facilitate this sentiment, as well. In short, he won't go down quietly).
This, of course, could be great news for Republicans ...
Also interesting is the Dallas Morning News' list of winners and losers. Among the "losers" are ...
Blacks: Despite the buzz, exit polls indicate blacks made up only 20 percent of the Democratic turnout.
Radio talk show hosts: Many derided Mr. McCain, and most Texas Republicans said these commentators were important in how they decided to vote – and they voted for Mr. McCain
How could talk radio have been a loser? Don't they know Rush Limbaugh is the reason Hillary won Texas???

Hopefully Hillary can pull this off and be the Dem nominee. She is the weaker of the two Dem candidates and McCain's chances are MUCH better against her. Plus, if the "stolen election" charges stick, it will further weaken her support going into the general.
Now that McCain has secured his spot (yipee, I'm thrilled), Republicans should turn their attention to helping Hillary win the Dem nomination in the remaining primary states. Normally, I wouldn't advocate such a thing. But if Obama is the Dem nominee, you can stick a fork in McCain.
Go Hillary, Go! |
|
Fork in McCain? First please remove the knives from the backs of conservatives. It's really up to Sen. McCain. If he wants our votes, he has to earn them.
He said he heard us after the last amnesty fight. He heard two things right. We want the border secured and we don't trust them. There apparently was alot he didn't hear.
He hired Juan Hernandez, who represents foreign nationals illegally in our country as his hispanic outreach, instead of reaching out to someone from "You Don't Speak For Me" a group of citizens of hispanic descent who oppose illegal aliens.
He said a couple of weeks ago he would sign McCain/Kennedy if it were put on his desk.
If he wants my vote, there are a couple of things he could do. 1. Publicly dismiss and disavow Juan Hernandez and the Reconquista for which he stands. 2. Apologize for conspiring in secret with La Raza and Ted Kennedy and trying to jam amnesty down our throats. 3. Pledge to veto ANY amnesty bill. 4. Pledge to enforce the laws, including deportation, which is the penalty for illegal aliens.
It's up to Sen. McCain, he can represent the interests of American citizens and uphold the rule of law or he can continue to court the favor of liberals and illegal aliens.
I will not vote for the latter.

Hillary is still in!!! Her only chance is to go to the convention with a little momentum, less delagates, and a plea to those super smart super delagates to give her the nomination because the people got it wrong and are too stupid to understand so the super delagates need to bail out the stupid people who know no better.
As for McCain, I believe he will have an easier time against Obama because Obama is so far left. McCain has shown his determination to run from the center and needs the independent vote to offset the conservatives who he has thrown under his bus. Hillary will also be trying to run from the center/left and will siphon much of that independent vote to her. |
|
I empathize and agree with almost everything in your post.
I am NO McCain fan. If a better, more conservative, VIABLE alternative reared its head, he or she would get my vote in a heartbeat. I don't see that happening, but if it does. . . I am so THERE.
The reality of our situation is that America simply CANNOT afford another liberal, spend-happy POTUS. At least with McCain, conservatives might be able to keep him on a short leash. Hillary/Obama will most certainly break the bank AND weaken our stand against AQ.
I do not like McCain. And, yes, the wounds in my back also have not healed. Hillary/Obama are far more dangerous. |

it is all about electability now....
Must read for those into American politics!!!! I found some brilliant/awesome analysis on Obama’s current happenings on the campaign trail. I haven’t seen anything like this mentioned anywhere in the MSM. Check out the article “Super Tuesday 2: Revenge of the Clintons” on http://savagepolitics.com/?p=177, “Follow the Money” on http://savagepolitics.com/?p=165, “Bush’s Twin and the G.O.P.” http://savagepolitics.com/?p=172 and “Barack Obama’s Apotasy” http://savagepolitics.com/?p=101

...if Hillary "steals" the Democrat's nomination. People like US Rep. Maxine Waters (D-CA) will go on TV chanting, "No justice, no peace". |
|
I don't consider Texas and Ohio being a real lost to Obama. On the other side, Hillary just got into the race. She no doubt she would just cruise through on the "first lady" ticket and take the nomination on the first Super Tuesday primary. Obama is a real challenge to her. This is making her work, maybe she can exhibit her "35 years of experience" on trying to win the election fairly. Her litany has been on her 35 years of experience, well 21 of those 35 years were as first lady, not as a real legistlator. As a first lady, she know nothing about the real issues of life as a single parent, needing to feed her children, losing a job and trying to make on no money. She has had a silver spoon in her mouth all her life. Also the negative, demonic strategies she is protraying is proof that we need "new blood" like Obama who takes the high road on runs an honorable campaign. Hillary has had nothing but problems in trying to manage her campaign. That to me shows she cannot be effective as a president of the U.S. If she can't run a small campaign staff, how will she run the office of president with much more staff. She is a self-centered, narcisstica witch! No one can get along with her, not even Bill. That's why he has to go to other women for love and affection, who needs a "cold fish" like Hillary? I just hope and pray that Obama is our next president. If she gets it, I will never vote again. It will convince me not to trust the American system. It is filled with low down dirty politics in the first degree!!!! That's all Hillary knows! She desires a lot and the sooner she is out of the picture, the better. Chapjan |

Actually Radio Talk Show Hosts did not lose last night, but rather their actions caused the American people to lose their a little bit of their voter freedom. Rush and his ilk have ushered in a new era of election manipulation, where it is better to vote for who you want to run against rather than who you want to win. What will be the ramifications of this tactic? Well, states that have open primaries, whose intent was to allow any voter, regardless of party affiliation, to vote for their candidate of choice, will now become closed, thus restricting moderates primary options. |

SOUNDS LIKE A "THREAT" TO ME!!!! |
|
|
|
I am not sure if Rush Limbo had anything to do with the Hildebeast winning but even so...who cares?
What good is it to help the Hildbeast win the dem nomination? That's just craziness...she may very well be the strongest socialist candidate.
What a crazy world we live in when republicans nominate Juan Mccain and root for Hildebeast Clinton..
For the record, I was always hoping space boy dennis kucinich would be the dem nominee. |
|
I thought Rush/talk radio was just entertainment?
Oh wait, that's what they claim when they fail to lead the sheep. |
|
I saw Laura Ingraham on Greta tonight trying to take credit for Hillary's win. What an out of touch loser this lady is, and she's just a copy cat of Rush Limbaugh. I call her Borrow Ingraham. The only talk show host that is more of an embarrasment to conservatives than these two geniuses is Jerk Levin. It is these numbskulls who picked the worst candidates to support (they all lost), while they ignored, or lied about, or berated the other Republican candidates. Someone needs to tell these big-headed freaks that they are hurting more than they are helping. Perhaps they might try simply talking about all of the Republican candidates next time instead of trying to affect the outcome. For example, does anyone who has actually researched the Republican candidates think that Mike Huckabee is not a conservative, or that Tom Tancredo should be discounted and mocked, or that Duncan Hunter should be glossed over, or that Ron Paul should be ignored. Yet look at the people these bufoons gave serious attention to. Fred Thompson? The good friend of John McCain, who worked with him on McCain-Feingold. Rudy Giuliani? Sanctuary Man. Mitt Romney? The quitter, who stabbed his supporters in the heart. I liked all of these gentlemen. Too bad we didn't really get to know them.
But hey, we hurried up and nominated John McCain so that he has time to compete against the Democrat. So now what? |
|
|
Can't you just see Al and Jesse with bull horns at the Convention if BO loses this nomination? Ah yes, Maxine and Sheila Jackson Lee will be there whining and rightly so. The youth vote will cry, wear arm bands and go on MTV to complain about real evil now: the Clinton machine. Can't you see Hillary cackling and the Messiah pontificating? As to Talk Radio, the liberals just pray(are they allowed to do that?) that they had it on their side. Right on to the Convention. How delicious! |
|
Ha! A Democrap – and one from Chicago, no less – is wailing and gnashing his teeth over the prospect of a “stolen” election.
C’mon, Barack. This is how your party plays the game. You better get with the program, dude.
|
|
The ONLY way McCain has a chance to win in November is IF Hillary is able to steal this election by using Superdelegates to put her over the top before the Convention.
This would cause a war in the Democrat convention because the Blacks would rightly feel the election was stolen from Obama UNLESS Obama would be willing to be VP and calm them down.
ONLY IF this happens, and Blacks do NOT turnout for Hillary, will Juan McAmnesty have a chance.

|
If it's that vital that McCain win this election, he'd better change his mind on amnesty. It is the only way he will win. |
|
-- Are you nuts?
You mean "George Soros had better change his mind on amnesty," don'tcha?
That's the hand inside the human-shaped sock puppet we mistake for John Sidney McCain III.
