Hill and O Serve Up Competing Narratives on YouTube

With the future of the Democratic primary about as clear after Pennsylvania as the Potomac after a three-day rainstorm, Hillary and Obama are pushing competing narratives this morning. Their YouTube channels serve up their rationales:
Obama: 'Impossible for Obama to Lose His Lead'
Hillary: A Win is a Win, Loser
As much as I'm enjoying the Hillary resurgence, I can't help but think that she's just disastrously unlikeable on the stump. This speech, though Dick Morris and others applauded it, was so very monotone and uninspiring for me. Interestingly, Obama's campaign isn't even posting his concession speech, which was worlds better than Hillary's victory speech, but who needs oratory when you've got delegate math? And, for Hillary, who needs delegate math when you've got the popular vote (if Michigan and Florida are counted). This thing is never going to end.

What is the rationale behind that, exactly? Never mind the fact that the popular vote is totally meaningless in how this nomination is supposed to be decided, but really, how is counting 300,000 votes from Michigan for Hillary fair? |

Whoops---I coulda sworn it was Stine. Sorry. Here I have been to the movie website, and googled his name and everything. I asked my husband if he knew his name was Stein, and my longsuffering husband said he'd quit trying to correct my spelling a long time ago. Oh, well, what can I say? Please go see the movie the press and the darwinlovers don't want you to see.
I see a pattern in this same stubbornness on the part of the democrats who refuse to let go of their perceptions of the election of 2000, and WMDs. Don't you? |

It's Ben *Stein*. I'm not being condescending. I just wanted to correct the record. I may go see that movie--"Expelled"--in the next couple of weeks. I'd have to go all the way to Roosevelt Field to see it because it's not playing in theaters closest to me, but I don't mind. (I live in Wantagh on Long Island.) |

Mary Katherine, have you seen Ben Stine's documentary?? He has made over $3.4 million and the press is in some weird conspiracy of silence. In the top ten for the first weekend opening, and top 26th in all documentaries, and still the silence. "Anyone?" "Anyone?"
My husband and I saw it twice this weekend. I heard the music the second time 'round. It is wonderful. It is rattling the darwinlovers' cage. |

The guy in the back ground with the boxing was pretty hilarious, the worst part is that they will not count Michigan and Florida in the delegate count nor the popular vote being Obama did not run campaigns there. But honestly, what is the worry? Hillary Clinton and Barrack Obama against McCain in the general, I feel another 1984 election sweep coming.

"What's up with the guy behind Hillary with the boxing gloves? Is he Hill-Rod's new mascot?" ----------- Nope, just trying to stop biting his nails over Operation Chaos.

This constant campaigning just wears you down. These politicians never stop. They are like chatty Kathy dolls. They spout out such a constant stream of rhetoric that no one can remember what they say one day to the next. Take Hillary as an example, one day for guns - the next strongly opposed; one day for pulling out of Iraq - the next nuking Iran; and on and on. I just picked Hillary out of the air, they are all the same. My ears are inundated. My eyes are inundated. I am numb from all this babble. |
