Looking Good for Senator Burris..

Roland Burris and Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid are currently locked in a closed-door meeting and the initial reports show things look favorable for Burris.

I'll keep you posted, there will be a news conference about this as soon as their meeting breaks. Everyone is staked out in front of Reid's office by the Ohio Clock.

Burris
Burris took advantage of the mess in Illinois and the race card was played; however, he was appointed legally as far as I can tell. I don't think Reid has a leg to stand on as far as blocking him but then I'm not a lawyer and they can always find loopholes if necessary.

I think that Burris should be seated if for no other reason than the reigning democrats do not want him. There is no way that a Republican will ever get the vacant seat. So why should the demo-cronies get a chance to put someone they want and can manipulate? Remember, there is nothing foolproof to a sufficiently talented fool.

Blago, Reid & Obama Save The Circus
This whole tantrum is a staged event. Blago saved the Dems from possibly losing a special election. Reid and Obama just needed some plausible deniability and appear not to be linked to Blago. Now the trifecta will be complete when Princess "You know" Kennedy and Caligula's back half of the horse, Al Franken get into the Senate. The greatest show on Earth. Too bad it is a circus.

BURRIS MUST BE A HONEST MAN
Burris must be a honest man, for the democrats to go against Burris, Blagojevich is a seated Governor and has the right by Law to appoint a person to that seat, I dont know why Reid was against this appointment, maybe there was nothing in it for him.
