To make you feel a little better, the statement is: "....and rather elegant (I've been told)": yes, but by my husband, his father and family. Obviously, they "do not have a dog in this race" since they are regarded "beholders", therefore, this statement is rather family oriented.
The real, unbiased (per professional peers, colleagues, clients, etc.) descriptions I have noted over the years are: "haughty" (very serious demeanor), "Bea the B-t-h", the "Tick", etc. References that I loved since they implied that I was a competent, conscientious, and reliable professional.

I didn't go to public school. I went to Catholic elementary and secondary, and then to a well-known Catholic university in my state. I am a fallen Catholic, but the education was good. I don't remember them teaching any of us about 'feminism', I read a lot. Amelia Earhart was my favorite historical person, followed by Marie Curie and Harriet Tubman. Very brave, strong ladies.
I know that Mr. Clinton was not good towards his wife, but that is their problem. Many public and powerful men throughout history have had terrible personal relationships but were great men...even Mr. Gingrich. |

I was taught that a feminist believes in feminism, which advocates equal rights for women, both socially and politically. That seems like slavery to me.
My idea of a feminist is someone like Mrs. Clinton, or Secty. Albright, or Sen. Hutchinson, who work for women's issues. They care about women. I post her credentials, backgroud, schools, degrees etc.
Molly and Loony start making fun of her school and still do not expressly disagree with the comments in question.
I post that the school has had two supreme court justices and a president, yet still continue to bash the victim and her school and yet to have rejected the hate f*ck comments.
Now you get on here and want to bash everyone else other than Molly and Loony for not sticking to the subject...

how she got her job? People get jobs for all different sorts of reasons, including skills, knowing the right person, or whatever. This is a visual medium. Does it help that she's attractive? Uh, duh. See a lot of A List moviestars that aren't attractive? The real point is that writing hate filled garbage is not excusable. You can't make a similar "hate sex" list of noted liberal women because they're all disgustingly ugly. Hillary, Pelosi, Justice Ginsburg, Sen. Boxer ... anyone would have to be extremely, extremely desperate to even consider it.

Lonny is a snob who I judge not by the ranking of a school he attended, but by his vapid expressions of opinion. If the sum of your opinion, Lonny, is that jokes essentially about rape are funny or that they are excusable because Ms. Kelly went to a third tier law school (oh, the horror), you would do your alma matter a great benefit by not identifying it. |
