According to the AP ...
Interesting that he didn't come to this conclusion until after the seminars (and after all the attention he's gotten these last several days and weeks).
... So he gets us to pay attention to him and his conference, and then sneaks out the door the next morning, leaving behind a breakup note on a sticky pad.
I feel so jilted. What a tease ...

As a strong supporter of Ron Paul, I was really hoping Newtie would jump in and further dilute the pro-interventionist neo-con pool, which would only have helped Ron further.
Ahh, so. Ron will just have to whupp butt on 9 neo-cons, not 10 ... (sigh) |

Ron Paul is the most intelligent candidate in either party(other than maybe a teaser like Gingrich) So my guess is that anybody who'd vote for Hillary Clinton over Ron Paul is intimidated at the idea of an intelligent President. Freedom loving Americans won't be put off! Vote Ron Paul for President 2008! |

Just was looking at your site, it was mentioned on this anti American site in Canada. Some fruit by the name of SIRRUPERTMURGATROYD mentioned how many asses are on here (so far I have not seen any). Just thought maybe ya'll would like to peruse this sissy Canadian Site, and give them a hard time, they need it. Seems the raise in the loonie has given them the balls to really slam Americans and your President. Of whom I like. Have fun. These people on this site are really thin skinned too. Easy to get on the site if you get banned I do it all the time. Just use hot mail or google mail. The name of the site is canada.com. |

This does not pass the smell test. It is hard to believe he just found out that a conflict disqualifies him, especially since this is very close to the issue that pushed him out of the HR. I have followed this efort with some interest, but I am about as frustrated with his stop; and go switcheroo chango mode as Tom de Lay was. There is a lot he says that is not conservative, small government thinking. Recently he has joined the health Nazi's on promoting wellness in ridiculously intrusive ways. |

"If I can't raise 30 million dollars in pledges before November 1st, I won't be running for President." Regardless of your opinions of Newt Gingrich the man is brilliant! He already has at least three million in donations without having even thrown his hat into running for President. Sure beats having to compete with the characters panhandling for change along the sidewalks & on roadsides near the intersections... |

This blog is about Newt and not running afterall. Yet, the paulists start posting about ronniepaul.
What does that suggest??? ronniepaul attracts people who can't read?

But, as I've said before (and gotten pounded for it!) after what Newt did to his first wife (presenting her with divorce papers, in the hospital the night before cancer surgery) makes me suspect that the man has a real character flaw.
Same thing with Rudy.
The only difference between the two is that Newt is pretty much a Conservative domestically and internationally, while Rudy is certainly a domestic lib-er-al!
Neither of them in the WH would do the Republican Party any good.

is actually a pretty intelligent guy, it's just too bad that he's running with that CFR crowd which makes him a sell out just like the rest of the clowns. I don't understand why you guys didn't pull him out sooner? Is Fred not turning out as well as you hoped? I saw him giving a speech on C-Span and this guy is as exciting as a fly taking a dump. The GOP is truly in the toilet and it's time to flush... and bring some air freshener because it stinks, real bad!
There is only one conservative candidate in the race: Ron Paul 2008! |

Who gives a rats' pa-tut.
Like the old song says; Got along without you before I met you; Gonna get along without you now. |

It's always about how he can get attention. Don't worry - he'll be back. |

Honestly, I felt Newt was playing his supporters. "I won't say I'm running, but if people contribute 30 million, I'd feel obligated to run......"
He was making a play to get people to "talk him into running", after money talks, does it not?
Apparently, money does talk, because he won't give up his lucrative position in his own political arm group and therefore will not run for the presidency.
Shame on him for trying to shame Romney for having more money that he does.
Turns out, he has his own rich contributors, and he quite enjoys the money he gets from them and his speeches.
Like I said, shame on him for throwing darts at Romney. |
