atheists have established religions
"Calling any dictator an athiest isn't exactly true."

Hitler was an atheist dictator.
As was Stalin.
As is Kim Jong Il.

"What a dictator really wants to do is establish a new religion with himself as the God. Look at the cult of personality around Stalin, or Castro, or Mao. Hitler and Saddam followed the same playbook."

become like famous mass-killer atheists, and have others worship you

"Guys like this worship power, nothing else. If they can use athiesm to get it, fine, if they can use religion to get it, that's fine, too."

There's such a thing as secular religions.

Oh, by the way.
This is one leftie who's pleased as punch about the verdict. Saddam was arguably the most brutal dictator on the planet at the time, and deposing him (and hanging him like a dog) are official Good Deeds.
