Here's what it could mean...

Next year, Judge Stevens retires and Bill Clinton is nominated and seated on the Court.

Three-&-a-half years from now (a repectable time), Hillary resigns as SecState.

Three-and-three-quarters years from now, Judge Ginsburg retires and Hillary is nominated and seated.

It's a Bill-and-Hill SCOTUS... Shivers!

Hillary has a serious chance at be nominated to SCOTUS, Bill will not. Being disbarred (even temporarily) is a major hurdle to being seated on the Court (even for the Democrats). But Hillary? Yeah, I see that coming. Chances are she would get confirmed too.

Let's face reality, Obama could completely suck as President and he is still going to get the Dem nomination in 2012 without even trying (barring him deciding not to run on his own). Hillary's presidential shot was pretty much over anyway--a shot for geting on SCOTUS however is still very open.
