The Only Unvetted Candidate: Obama

Michael Steele, former Lt. Governor of Maryland and a victim of identity theft (exploited by Chuck Schumer's Democratic Senatorial Committee) is telling Fox News that friends of his on the Democrat side are reporting that some on their side have Sarah Palin's social security number.
The treatment of Governor Palin is reminiscent of nothing so much as the "high tech lynching" inflicted on Justice Thomas and even to some degree on Dan Quayle. In America, the left considers itself the exclusive voice of women, minorities and young people.
Conservatives like Palin, Thomas and Quayle (a fresh new face like Palin, at the time) therefore pose an existential threat to lefties, at least in the minds of some of them, and allow them to justify behavior that is, frankly, unjustifiable.
After what's been done to Governor Palin, please let's hear no more whining from the likes of John Kerry about the "Republican attack machine."
And while all decent Americans certainly appreciate Barack's condemnation of the media feeding frenzy around Sarah Palin, it occurs to me that it must be nice to be in his position. Who needs to launch attacks when the press will do it for you? This holds true whether it was his US Senate primary opponent (the press found and reported on allegations of spousal abuse against Blair Hull), his US Senate general election opponent (remember Jack Ryan and the sex clubs) and now Sarah Palin.
So now we know more than we need to about Bristol Palin's unborn child -- while Obama's own ties to Tony Rezko and Bill Ayers go happily unexplored by the press.
The truth is that there's only one candidate in this race that's been pretty well left unvetted by the press . . . and that's Barack Obama.
Off to an LA television station to talk Palin . . .

"Michael Steele ... is telling Fox News that friends of his on the Democrat side are reporting that some on their side have Sarah Palin's social security number."
So a TH columnist
is telling us that a guy
is telling a news organization
that friends of his are saying
that some people they know are doing something.
Sounds like that old kid's game Gossip or Telephone or whatever it was called. You're demonstrating good, solid journalism. |

"Al-gebra"
You crack me up :)

For the last 16 years, the nadless Repubs have let the Left get away with criminal activity and neglect. Why get riled now?
Jefferson, Clinton, Clinton, Bergler, Schumer, Reid, Feinstein, the NJ dude who stole the election for Senate, the Wash State Gov who stole the election, Nagin, Reno, McCain, etc etc the list goes on and on... |

It sounds like when the mainstream media states that they are fair.
The only real world is their world.
Therefore, all attacks on the anyone outside their world is fair. |

A liberal blogger notes the hypocrisy of these attacks on Palin:
We surrendered something a whole lot more valuable than our vote. We surrendered our principles. We surrendered our core values. We surrendered all hope. We surrendered our shared dreams that our daughters would inherit a better world, a world of promise, equality, justice, fairness and honor. We had dreamed of a world where our 17 years old daughters wouldn't be striped naked and raped on the front page of the New York Times, above the fold. We dreamed of a world where a candidate, man or woman, could run for the highest office in the land and not be "swiftboated" with sexual lies and slander so vicious, so cruel, so gross and destructive that they actually wither our very soul. I actually believed we were better than that. I actually believed "swiftboating" was the sole property of Republicans. I actually believed we wanted to debate the issues. I actually believed we wanted the real change so eloquently promised by Senator Barack Obama. I actually believed we wanted a better world for our sons and our daughters. So I thought the extremely bizarre story, so obvious a blatant lie, that somehow appeared in The Daily Kos, claiming Governor Sarah Palin had somehow faked her own pregnancy to cover up for her wayward teenage daughter would be laughed off and quickly vanish form the Kos pages like the trash it was. It was a joke, A sad, sick joke. But instead of the aborted fetus it should have been, it was born full grown into the waiting arms of liberal bloggers and journalists, who quickly passed out cigars and congratulated themselves as proud mamas and papas. All this in spite of the fact that absolutely everyone knew the story was an absolute lie. The only thing we aborted was the truth.

yesterday you would have known that Politico already reported having one of Palin's Alaskan opponents' file on Palin which included her social. So try again that the GOP is the one spreading this.
More Chicago thuggery as usual from Obama and his surrogates.
Remember, one of Hillary's biggest supporters has already gone over to McCain's side because he says "Obama is not who he says he is" and has stated that there were some other big names there too. But, of course it will be up to them to release their names to the public. Hmmm, wonder if that is the September surprise.

A public school teacher was arrested today at John F. Kennedy International Airport as he attempted to board a flight while in possession of a ruler, a protractor, a set square, a slide rule, and a calculator. At a morning press conference, the Attorney General said he believes the man is a member of the notorious Al-gebra movement. He did not identify the man, who has been charged by the FBI with carrying weapons of math instruction.
"Al-gebra is a problem for us," the Attorney General said. "They desire solutions by means and extremes, and sometimes go off on tangents in a search of absolute value. They use secret code names like 'x' and 'y' and refer to them selves as 'unknowns,' but we have determined they belong to a common denominator of the axis of medieval with coordinates in every country. As the Greek philanderer Isosceles used to say, 'There are 3 sides to every triangle.'"
When asked to comment on the arrest, Senator Obama said , "If God had wanted us to have better Weapons of Math Instruction, he would have given us more fingers and toes." Democratic leaders told reporters they could not recall a more intelligent or profound statement by the Senator.
MSNBC weighs in, "Yeah, whatever Obama said."
