Re: Gibbs Isn't Looking Good
Posted by: Matt Lewis at 4:20 PM
I never thought anyone could make Scott McClellan look good, but this guy is coming close.  ... In terms of the best press secretaries in recent memory, Gibbs would do well to study Tony Snow and Mike McCurry.

There is no good defense against that which cannot be defended.

It's time for Democrats to own up to the fact that they got fooled.

Just as Conservatives got played by Bush.

It happens.

I miss Tony Snow
I truly miss Tony Snow. He was the best of the best. Always fair and funny. Future press secretaries would do well for themselves if they follow in Tony's footsteps.

I don't know why but I tear up just thinking of Tony Snow passing. He was such a gracious host on FNS and, while placed in the often untenable position of defending GWB's squishy policies (at least in the eyes of devoted conservatives), he remained fair-minded and willing to engage the press in a way that only a professional could.

Here's to BHO and his spokesman receiving what they've dished out with hardly a flinch over the past 8 years! Touche'

I tear up too. I can not remember ever crying as much for someone I never met as I did when Tony passed away. I will always have the most fond memories of him and I wish his family nothing but the best for their futures without him.

Tony Snow was class!
Gibbs does not appear to be anywhere near Snow's calibre.

Such anger ,have you considered anger management? it's going to be a long 4 years for Barak Carter .I hope he keeps the tires on the prseidential limo properly inflated , I know it's a small thing ,but sometimes you need to master the little things in life first before trying more ambitious projects . Obama= Carter

Man, this is the lamest I have ever seen you. Trying to defend this not-ready-for-prime-time moron they have put uop in front of the press corp is hilarious.

Oh, wait, it's George Bush's fault.

And Helen Thomas is the only decent reporter in the room? HaHaHa. Good one.

This is true. I would go back even further. Since 1988, this country have been ruled by the globalists. They keep folks distracted from awaking to their treason by bread and circuses, or creating foreign threats. They are good students of Hegel.
