McCain Trying to Restart
Posted by: Amanda Carpenter at 7:01 AM
There's lots of media fuss today that John McCain is "resetting" his campaign. Here's a taste of what that sounds like from a upcoming speech:
“Let me give you the state of the race today. We have 22 days to go. We’re six points down. The national media has written us off. Senator Obama is measuring the drapes, and planning with Speaker Pelosi and Senator Reid to raise taxes, increase spending, take away your right to vote by secret ballot in labor elections, and concede defeat in Iraq. But they forgot to let you decide. My friends, we’ve got them just where we want them....What America needs in this hour is a fighter; someone who puts all his cards on the table and trusts the judgment of the American people. I come from a long line of McCains who believed that to love America is to fight for her. I have fought for you most of my life. There are other ways to love this country, but I’ve never been the kind to do it from the sidelines.”
I'll be on MSNBC in the 9am hour to discuss.

Go, Johnny, GO
We're behind you. We want some "give 'em Hell, Harry" type comments that show the fire in your belly still burns bright. (Not character assignation, just the facts, your old fashioned Straight Talk to the American people.)

There is plenty of info about Obama and "friends" to close the deal. Obama's obvious "connections" are the best and more accurate talking points to expose Obama's philosophy and liberalism as dangerous to us and our allies.

You are a friend to this nation and we want you with your refiner's fire character at the helm of the good ship USA.

"Protect capitalism, protect the rule of law, protect the nation and you will protect the liberty we enjoy that so many take for granted."

McCain voted for the bailout, so he failed to protect capitalism. He authored the last two amnesty bills, so he will not protect the rule of law or the nation. He also authored McCain/Feingold, so he isn't in favor of liberty.

Why PA?
For the love of St, Peter, why is Palin/McCain even in PA this week??? He's down 13 there.

McCain is wandering aimlessly searching for a plan.

Here's a clue, Senator: It's not in PA.

McCain needs a message
He doesn't have one. He just wants to be pres. Does anyone know why?

Nope.

He just wants to be pres. He doesn't necessarily have a vision. And right now he's wandering aimlessly trying to find one at the last minute.

Here's an idea, in case you're wondering Senator McCain:

GET AN ECONOMIC VISION FOR HOW TO SOLVE THIS CRISIS THAT DOESN'T INVOLVE 300 BILLION MORE TAXPAYER DOLLARS!

AND STOP THE MUDDSLINGING - It's not working and it's making repubs look like neanderthals. I thought you wanted a positive campaign?

Is McCain capable of forming an economic vision based on solid free-market principles that will put the country on track?

No, I don't think so. McCain appears to be out of gas and only concerned about his image at this point. And Palin is dead weight.

Focus on the target - ignore the chaff
Dear Sen McCain,

In this target-rich environment please explain to America how you will "Provide for the common defense, Promote the general welfare, and Secure the blessings of Liberty...".

Your opponent is doing a good job disguising what America can expect from an Obama presidency with a Pelosi-Reid congress. We only have to look to Chicago, San Francisco, and Las Vegas to see the change Obama-Pelosi-Reid and their corrupt cronies will deliver.

Protect capitalism, protect the rule of law, protect the nation and you will protect the liberty we enjoy that so many take for granted.

McCain's lost [it]
You know the McCain camp has lost and the smear campaign has failed miserably when its biggest, slimiest cheerleader runs for cover and acts as though he didn't urge the snipefest onward: William "the Bloody" Kristol - he of the vocal "Take the gloves off---the Hockey Mom knows best" while urging McCain to focus on the ridiculous Ayers angle - just jumped ship this weekend on FoxNew calling out McCain for his “stupid campaign” and “a pathetic campaign” because the attacks ”haven’t worked” and they’re “doing things that don’t work and they keep doing them”.

THIS is the Republican Party in a nutshell. Never, ever own up to mistakes and blame someone else.

John!
JOHN MCCAIN YOU ARE A FIGHTER! YOU HAVE ALWAYS FOUGHT FOR EVERYTHING YOU ATTEMPTED IN WASHINGTON! WE KNOW YOU AREN'T A WIMP!
YOU WILL ALWAYS BE RESPECTED, BUT, IF YOU LET OBAMA INTIMIDATE YOU, WHAT WILL YOU BE THEN? A MAVERICK HAS SPUNK! SHOW IT! I SEE IT IN SARAH! MAYBE SARAH SHOULD BE ON THE TOP OF THE TICKET JOHN?
FIGHT FIGHT FIGHT!
REPUBLICANS ARE YOU DOING YOUR PART IN YOUR STATE?
GET OUT THERE AND FIGHT FOR YOUR PARTY, WE KNOW YOU WON'T DO IT ILLEGALLY!
YOU DON'T WANT BEGGED VOTES YOU DON'T WANT STOLEN VOTES YOU DON'T WANT VOTES THAT TAKE ADVANTAGE OF ILLITERATE AND POOR AND YOU DEFINITELY DON'T WANT PURCHASED VOTES!
DON'T DO AN OBAMA!

McCain can do this!
The elite media has had a wake up call and they don't know how to handle it. They just realized that a lot of people in middle America are not listening to them. Shocking! How dare we not pay attention to their talking heads and stuffy columnists. Shocking! How dare we ignore the mishandling of Fannie/Freddie by the democrats. Shocking! How dare we not fawn over The One - for heaven's sake, they have been telling us how wonderful he is. Why are we not listening? It is unbelievable to them that if they say Ayers is a nobody, then we should take them at their word. And this Acorn thing, they have written it off, so why can't we?

How sad that when a Wisconsin voter stood up and said he was mad as hell at what was happening in Washington, didn't want Obama as president and called the Congress a bunch of hooligans, the media was stunned. And all this time they thought we were like lemmings in lockstep with their ideals and beliefs.

After a couple of martinis and a round of golf, I would imagine one of the bigshot editors came up with the brilliant idea on how to turn this thing back around - "We can't call them stupid, that may offend someone in Ohio, but I know, let's call them racists."

I for one am looking forward to voting for McCain and spanking the media at the same time.

Mccain
Mccain you are the best man in this race to lead our country! You have the experience and you have shown your ability to work with everyone across the isle. YOu have served your country, you know what is going on in Iraq. You are highly respected by both Party's. You have high values. You don't need to slam Obama, his record is out there for all to see! You need to let the American people know you are above and beyond a way better Candidate than Obama! If you ask many people why they are voting for Obama, most of the answers are, Because he is first black candidate, We like him, He stands for Change, which none of them can come up with what change. Very few people ever come up with any solid information as to why he should be president. Obama has nothing to offer this country other than socialism, this he does by saying he is going to be a modern day Robin Hood and steal from the Wealthy and give to the lazy poor. This country has always gone above and beyond to take care of their own. The welfare system is a joke, people who are just lazy, have drug addictions, belong to gangs are on the welfare role. This system needs to be changed and changed drastically, all Obama has intended is reward lazy people with more money, tax the heck out of all people. There are so many people that can't put two and two together and understand what Obama's tax hike will do! You take from the wealthy and they start cutting and the guy below him starts cutting and finally you are in the pockets of the middle class who have to shut down their business', common sense! His health care ideas are a joke, its a huge Welfare system and then you lose Great Docs and Nurses, I don't think anyone caught his remark on keeping your insurance with your company, that has been going on for years, let me tell you a little secret, the company insurance cost Doubles, I know!
Mccain/Palin
