McCain Campaign to Slam Obama Adviser
Posted by: Amanda Carpenter at 2:09 PM
The McCain campaign will be criticizing Obama's Middle East policy adviser Daniel Kurtzer for meeting with high-level Syrian officials in Damascus at an event underwritten by Syrian business interests and a Canadian oil company in a conference call this afternoon.

I have the background on the homepage HERE and will be following along as this develops.

Update:
HERE is the updated version of the story with reaction from the McCain campaign. McCain Senior Foreign Policy Adviser Randy Schneunemann said Kurtzer's trip amounted to "covert" diplomatic relations. Former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani was also on the call. He likened Kurtzer’s meeting to Obama’s promise to meet with hostile, foreign leaders without “precondition."

Hypocrite"0", the Pot calls kettle black
Something smells in Damascus; as it did in Canada
where Obamas Rep.,Kurtzer was whispering to concerned business people, "we don't really plan to interfere in the outsourcing"! Anyway, the hypocrite Obama faults McCain for oil monies received, when "0" also has taken their money and now his man is involved in the Syrian and canadian oil company interest!! Please false prophet don't insult our intelligence with such obvious transparency! Ex Democrat

Correction
Sorry, Kurtzer was in Damascus not Canada.

Talking?
Considering the fact that our international reputation is totally destroyed by W and his little Neo-Con freak buddies, I think "talking" to Syria is probably not a bad idea.

We seem to have no trouble kissing the royal behinds in Saudi Arabia -- the home turf of most of the 9/11 monsters.

And just today, Condi sold all kinds of new toys to Poland for absolutely no reason except to tick off the Russians.

Now, THAT'S a great foreign policy!

Hmm...
And dispatching your buddies to Georgia on your behalf is nothing at all like diplomacy or presumptuous.

It's showing what a great CiC and leader you'd be...

Oh well. Another day in Wonderland.

Pet Goat
The U.S. has been negotiating for over a year with Poland on the missile defense system. It has more to do with Iran than Russia. And maybe Obama should actually wait to see if he gets elected before doing any type of foreign policy. THAT is above his pay grade at this point. It's funny how our "reputation is ruined" yet most of Europe is voting in conservative governments.

Why is Obamas adiver talking to anyone?
Obamas people have no business talking to anyone, he is NOT the President and will NOT be the President, the American people will have that say and its NOT Obama,
Its above your pay grade Obama.
