Rumors on the Internets ...
Posted by: Matt Lewis at 7:57 AM
For what it's worth ...

1).  I'm hearing that tensions were high recently when veteran actor Robert Duvall was taping a voice-over for a video to be played during the Republican National Convention.  Apparently, the veteran actor objected to the direction he was receiving from Republican media guru Fred Davis.  According to my sources, Duvall said something along the lines of:  "F-you Fred!  If Scorsese couldn't give me direction, what the hell makes you think you can?"  Though this blow-up is actually recorded on tape, my guess is it's in everyone's best interest for this to not leak out ...

2).  A source tells me Secret Service agents were all over the Minnesota State House yesterday.  Is this a hint that Tim Pawlenty will get the veep nod?  Maybe, or maybe not ...

3).  As MSNBC continues to cast itself as the "anti-Fox," the NYT is reporting that liberal Rachel Maddow will replace Dan Abrams.

Secret Service & Minnisota Statehouse
Isn't the statehouse likely to be the site of a lot of DV's during the convention? Like the POTUS/VPOTUS? Makes sense for the Secret Service to check it out now.

McCain

McCain - according to his own chief of staff (Mark Salter) - has offered the VP position to 20 people. And all 20 have turned him down. I got this after my own dear sister (who is on McCain's staff of advisers) arranged a meeting to try to get me to support John McCain.

I named 25 people I suspected would be a VP consideration and Mark Salter said 20 of the people were offered the position but turned John McCain down, saying they do not want to be part of the SINKING TITANIC.

The inner circle believes that Obama will comeback just as Clinton did in 1992, only Obama will do it without Ross Perot's presence as a 3rd party candidate.

And for the record, I will not support or vote for John McCain. It is not that I am an Obama supporter as I am not; it is that I, like about 20-million other voters, will not support or vote for John McCain, period. We view him (with his documented temper and profanity in Senate speeches and physical violence like a toddler not getting its way) as clearly being not competent to be President; that it will be another four long years of George Bush and RNC policies that our country cannot afford; that foreign aid will skyrocket to $1.5-trillion per year while leaving millions upon millions of US Citizens behind (including about 60-million physically & developmentally challenged, about 95% of who cannot help themselves without some form of government assistance); that the RNC has lost most, if not all, credibility with not just a vast majority of voters but with leaders of foreign countries as well; that NAFTA and the evil North American Union will continue and businesses will continue their greedy need for low-cost labor imported from foreign countries (which is viewed by many as RNC sponsored corporate welfare); and our Constitution will be trampled on again & again by RNC and John McCain. If one wants an end to our national sovereignty, go ahead and vote for John McCain.

Something for everyone here to think about.

Obviously...
Matt is using the 'net lingo, where "internets" and "interwebs" are both used to mean "internet". But thank you, Goat, for helping to portray Democrats as out of touch.

Hey Goat
Always gotta get those BDS symptoms out there eh?

At least the "idiot in chief" didn't lie through his teeth and claim he invented the internets....we leave that level of mendacity to you guys on the left.

Yawn!
You can kiss the Dan Abrams show goodbye.

Thanks!
Thanks for referring the web as the "Internets".

That extra, incorrect "s" at the end reminds me of our Idiot-in-Chief when he used the term "Internets" during one of his memorable foot-in-mouth disease moments.
