So public education and access to health care are equivalent to slavery and Japanese internment to you? Don't you think that's a little dramatic?

separate universe is one for the Poster Child books. YIKES!

Alleged "Sane" Girl: Get some therapy for that Time Warp you've chosen to abide in, Babycakes. Scary. Jackson State..? 30+years late for "moving on", Kid, from that sad event of 38-years ago.

FOCUS, Allegedly "Sane" Chick: Whilst you've been re-attending the Days of Rage, adults have been leading grown-up lives. Only sad old radicals, hippies and eternal infants dwell in your little biddy world. Take a look at Bad Billy Ayers' speaking at the ancient SDS survivors gathering and you'll see what I mean. .....I may be a Pennsylvania "bitter clinger", but lady.....I am not a brainless loon! The very fact that you are sooooo negatively impacted by the 2000 and 2004 elections speaks volumes as to your political disposition. Please do not profess your GWB votes as to both elections as we are not dim-witted imbeciles.

However, this was not a "header" to discuss the virtues of the past two elections. You're trying a diversion as to the real issue: the debate as to the Obama-Ayres connection. GET IT????

Sooooo, get over your eight year grief as to the Gore and Kerry loss and let's get to the appropriate "header's" subject matter.

Obama trying to block the “First Amendment of the US Constitution”………is quite amazing. I guess this Amendment is only applicable if you are a member of a particular political party. I was under the impression that BHObama was, at a minimum, slightly familiar with constitutional law????? Am I mistaken here???? Or has the US Constitution been recently amended to apply only to the Democratic Party?????

Distractions!
This talk about Ayers is only a distraction. Everybody knows that Barack Obama was workign for good causes when he worked with Ayers.

I just heard on the radio today that if John McCain, if he were to become president, will raise my taxes!!@!

His health care plan would tax my employer health insurance as income.

More taxes!

yes, keep people distracted with nonissues, so the real issues, like raising taxes on my healthcare, go under the radar.

This stinks!

Romney and Hillary
If Hillary continues to be a problem for Obama during the convention, Romney might get Hillary voters to McCain in the following way:

McCain would pick Romney as VP telling everyone that he was second in votes during the primaries, qualified, and he has proven he deserves the spot if he wanted it.

This plays into the idea that Obama should have picked Hillary for exactly the same reason.

McCain would also say, "I know Mitt has disagreed with me on a number issues during the primaries, but we have resolved those differences, and I am happy he is my VP."

This sets a precedent for Hillary voters, and it let's them continue to claim, Hillary should have been on the ticket.

BTW, the Weathermen were not a primarily
anti-Vietnam war group. They were a anti-Establishment, kill the honkies group whose heroes were Ho Chi Minh, Che Guevara, and the Black Panthers.

Their aims were very bad. There were at one point over 600 of them, not "just a handful".

Let's try to stick with the facts, shall we?

Why is it that leftists scuttle away
whenever someone turns a light on?

Rather than continually saying "Oh yeah? Well, John McCain [insert new charge here!!!", why can't liberals just stop and address Billy Ayers?

Was he or wasn't he a terrorist? Did he actually take part in bomb-making or stoning of police?

Did he or didn't he use his rich daddy's money to fund terror attacks and then get himself out of trouble (after his playmates disowned him for dropping "hope" and "change" for the old ways of running a communist revolution)?

What does Obama say about this other than Bill is "a part of the Establishment"?

If Bill Ayers is a part of the "mainstream" in Democrat political circles, should Americans worry?
The Very Sane Woman Who Points Out the Obvious writes: Tuesday, August, 26, 2008 4:40 PM
OK, Let's Dust Off the Memories
Thanks, Hugh, for dragging up a time in my life that is very difficult to talk about sometimes.

As someone who worked for peace when we made war on Viet-Nam, I admired the work that the SDS did. I felt that, although the Weathermen's intentions were good, their tactics were wrong.

To "bring the war home," to show Americans on the home front an inkling of the destruction and death that were we causing in Viet-Nam, expanded the violence - which is something you never want to do - and in my opinion prolonged our involvement in the war.

So while the Weathermen and I were working for the same honorable cause, I denounced their tactics.

Now it might be just a matter of scale - the Weather Underground never grew beyond a handful of members - but the destruction brought about by the Weathermen never came close to the domestic terrorism that the government unleashed on the peace movement. As one of the "Chicks Up Front" I saw and experienced enough of the broken bones, cracked heads, and lacerations that were part of the strategy used against us. And don't forget Jackson State and Kent State. My friend was at Kent during the killings.

Hugh, if you wnat to bring up the past, go ahead. But let's talk about the whole picture.

Obama, the hope of all terrorists
It doesn't matter if Obama gets elected president or not, because the USA is just a stepping stone for him.

It's pretty obvious his real ambition is to be the leader of Kenya, his father's country. He is already publicly supporting the radical Islamic tribe there, that has openly murdered christians. Obama is a god to them, and he will quickly steal power from the legitimate elected government there. You'll see.

The commercials about him being some kind of Messiah aren't far from truth. However, his true form will have nothing to do with Christianity...

And, further, are you trying to sell the myth that your MSM Lapdawgs wouldn't be camped 24-7 on the KKK-Friend's doorstep?? Uh-Huh. Right.

Obama's been in a liberal left incubator his entire life, he's never held a real job that anyone sane would recognize, he's barely been in the Senate 10 minutes but he has a "broader view of the world"?

Sorry, I'm more qualified to be President than your crappy candidate.

I would have more respect for you people if you told me Obama was sent by God. Intellectually, you have no case as far as qualifications. There are millions of Americans who are more qualified to be President than Barack Obama and all would make better Presidents than Junior Jackass.

Odd that even Car-ville told audiances that Dems messed up on Mon. And, and, Obama reacted against the Ayers-connection 527 ad in real harsh terms. He tried to get the FCC to stop the ad. He blasted and blasted that one ad and still it ran. The key word might be WORRY. Worry that the Emperor has no clothes except those from the good old radical days, community activism, real American traditions missing, and the fact still that Media still is in the tank for them. This will be an Exposed Nerve for BO
until well past his defeat at the polls in November.

1. Ayers recruited Obama for the Annenberg Chicago Challenge

2. ACC became a conduit for the flow of Federal $$$ into the 'The Chicago CPS Reform' laundry

3. Obama did what he was told - watch them memos

4. Obama gets rewarded with an appointment to the Woods Fund & etc.

5. Billy Ayers is Mephistophilis to Obama's Faustus - 'I'll burn my books' is now obstruction of Justice and a Federal Beef

6. The Balsa Wood Spined politicians ( especially Daley will get smeared by the revelations)

7. Walter Annenberg like most gangsters offspring embraced free market capitalism - however, the foundations their wealth amassed are run by Leftists - witness MacArthur in Chicago; Joyce and Woods Foundations.

8. Obama will lose by a minimum of 40 States - No Hope here, Bub.

9. He will lose his Senatte seat.

10. The Progressives will rat out each other and survive Obama's downfall - 'They Mount, They Shine,Evaporate and Fall!' - that's how they roll.

BTW - Chicago Tribune and AP already slathering whitewash onthe story.

U of I at Chicago opens Ayers records
Associated Press
10:28 AM CDT, August 26, 2008
CHICAGO - The University of Illinois at Chicago has opened records from a nonprofit organization Barack Obama served on that's linked to former '60s radical William Ayers.

Those records include 140 boxes of documents from a school reform group called the Chicago Annenberg Challenge, which Ayers was instrumental in starting and Obama chaired in the 1990s.

Ayers teaches at the university. He has a controversial past that some supporters of Republican John McCain want to highlight because of his past work with Obama.

Several news organizations, including The Associated Press, began reviewing the records of the Chicago Annenberg Challenge on Tuesday. The group was awarded nearly $50 million by a foundation in the 1990s to help reform city schools.
