Maybe Conservative Reporters should be asking the American people if they would see domestic terrorism in a different light if McCain had been paling around with an Abortion Clinic Bomber. I think people on the left could then relate to the bombing of the Capital and the Pentagon as a bad thing. |
I like this one [4 Years and Out] from ExileStreet... http://exilestreet.com/?p=319
* The McCain mission has been about Reform from the beginning. Governor Palin is total evidence of that. * The financial meltdown has raised the stakes. McCain is serious about Country First: 4 Years and Out! No ties to the D.C. power brokers. * Democrats have controlled the both houses of Congress for 2 years. Are you better off today than you were 2 years ago? Gas prices were $2.20 a gallon before Democrats took over Congress. The Democrat Congress stopped every attempt to regulate the trillions of subprime paper dictated by Barney Frank and Christopher Dodd. Those subprime chickens have come home to roost. * It’s time to clean up Washington. Team McCain spells Change R-E-F-O-R-M. * 4 Years and Out!
There you go, Senator McCain. Game-changer. |
Do you really expect the McCain campaign to do any of these things?
If so, I have some AIG stock that might be of interest. |
readiness and suitability to lead.
Who the heck is following him?
Who would WANT to follow him?
You're letting your paranoia about Obama cloud your thinking.
Stop living in the past.
Hugh,
You've really outdone yourself with scare tactics here.
What, you're not allowed to die and go to heaven until you pay some kind of tax?
It's true that there are two things you cannot escape: death and taxes.
But you can never combine the two. |
...McCain's not as far down as it looks. About 5.4% -- well within the Bradley Effect factor. :-)
I see turnaround.
Every time I turn around, there are more McCain-Palin yard signs. Two more (new) ones on my way to work this a.m. |
Maybe every time the DNC Hacks try to paint Republicans as Racists. The Republicans should quote true racists in the DNC like Robert Bird. Elected to the Senate how many times and former leader of the KKK.
Do voters really want to move onto the Socialist Plantaion of the DNC? Or will this smoke screen clear before the election is over? It has not worked out very well for the poorest Americans who have been held their for thirty years. Will the American people choose Capitalism once more with the Republican Party, which is the best path to prosperity.
The Socialist dems killed an entire world economy to get themselves elected. They are the sickest people in our History. |
McCain is +2 in Ohio according to the most accurate polling service in Ohio despite all other polling services giving Obama a lead anywhere from +2 to +5 (per RCP).
The Ohio Poll : "...since 1994 The Ohio Poll has projected Election Day winners in 34 of 34 statewide contests polled."
I'll believe the U. of C. above any on Ohio. Does this mean that the polling from other states may be off from 4-7 points as well? |
True enough, but as Bill Kristol points out today, his campaign is pathetic. |

Barney Franks - Live in Freddie Mac Cornholer
1. Barney Frank Hit Over Boyfriend's Fannie Mae Role Critics are crying "conflict of interest" over Democratic Rep. Barney Frank's live-in relationship with Fannie Mae executive Herb Moses while Frank was on the House Banking Committee. Moses was Fannie Mae's assistant director for product initiatives from 1991 to 1998. He was also openly gay Frank's live-in boyfriend during that time, while the Massachusetts lawmaker was on the committee that had jurisdiction over government-sponsored Fannie Mae, Fox News' Bill Sammon reported. Now that Fannie Mae is at the center of the recent financial meltdown, the relationship is coming under increased scrutiny. "It's absolutely a conflict," said Dan Gainor, vice president of the Business & Media Institute. "He was voting on Fannie Mae at a time when he was involved with a Fannie Mae executive. How is that not germane? "But everyone wants to avoid it because he's gay. It's the quintessential double standard." A top Republican House aide told Fox News: "He writes housing and banking laws and his boyfriend is a top exec at a firm that stands to gain from those laws? No media ever take note?" Frank and Moses met in 1987 and lived together in Washington, D.C., until they split up in 1998. National Mortgage News disclosed that Moses "helped develop many of Fannie Mae's affordable housing and home improvement lending programs." Critics charge that such programs led to the mortgage meltdown and the recent government takeover of Fannie Mae, according to Fox News, which noted that Fannie Mae and its financial cousin Freddie Mac "are blamed for spreading bad mortgages throughout the private financial sector." Any port in a storm?
If you are really interested in rehabilitating your broken nation, you should choose Barack Obama. |
Bill Kristol has been a anti-Republican hack for years after spending to much time in D.C. and New York. Bill spent two election cycles pumping for McCain to win the Nomination over Conservatives. Bill has been sucking up a pay check pretending to be a RINO as he pumps socialism in the shadows. I would not put much stock in Kristol. |
How long have you been writing these "It aint over yet, guys! Victory remains within our grasp!" screeds? Ever since you started, McCain's trajectory has only DROPPED.
But I hope for all of our sakes that McCain starts really hammering home point #5 of yours, Hugh. Because in a time when we we're losing 50,000 jobs a month, retirement savings are disappearing, and homes are being foreclosed....
...hearing from a candidate whining about huge estates possibly being taxed more is SURE to be a winner and a game changer with the very few remaining soft supporters/swing voters out there in Ohio, PA, Florida, and Colorado.
Excuse me a moment...
"Dear God....PLEASE PRETTY PLEASE have John McCain fire his entire campaign staff and turn over control to Hugh Hewitt for messaging. Thanks." |
You Rethuglicans really show your no class, racist roots. Nice smiley face after mentioning the Bradley effect dianne. Wish all you want that America shares your hate and bigotry. As you can see, the non stop hate tactics of McLame's campaign, Hugh, and of course Fox's non stop coverage of Ayers, et al, have only moved the polls more toward Obama. BTW - I don't believe Obama even needs Ohio anymore. See Virginia, Colorado, New Mexico, Nevada, Florida, etc, etc. Facts are the best man, Obama, will win handily and a new America will be born. Free of the hate, bigotry, and racism of the extreme right wing represented here and at McLame campaign events! |
You really are stupid aren’t you? The death tax is the estate tax. You are taxed when you earn it, you are taxed on the interest or dividends, and if the Democrats get their way, they will reinstitute the estate tax and tax a family's estate 55% when the parents die.
This is the most pernicious tax with deleterious effects that will be felt at nearly every level of society. People that want to pass on the family farm, business, or vacation property for future generations to enjoy. |
Of course the messiah, 95% of blacks, and Acorn are racists right? Indeed whatever it takes to prevent this inexperienced, anti-American, socialist, from being POTUS. |
this mess was created by democrats who built the house of cards called Freddie Mae and Fannie Mac - follow the money - most has gone to the Dems although a few Repubs have their hand in the cookie jar.
McCain needs to take the uhBama "spread the wealth" quip and re-run it over and over again - real Americans despise socialism and the cloak has been lifted - uhBama wants to take our wealth and give it to those that haven't earned it - meanwhile more Gorelicks and uber bureaucrats will get rich at the expense of the upper middle class and the poor will remain poor because uhBama will be giving hand-outs instead of hands up - giving them fish instead of teaching them to fish. |
Do you really want to take on race?
Robert Bird, Senator. Elected by Democrats.
Need I say more? |
Lest you take solace from that Ohio newspaper poll:
While it shows McCain barely ahead of Obama within the margin of error, it should be noted that confirms the movement to Obama as the September poll from the same organization (they only do three. One more to go...) showed McCain up by SIX.
Ohio....done.
Colorado...done.
Pennsylvania...done.
Florida...done.
Virginia...done.
McCain and Palin...done. |
Time to cheer, not cry in our beer. (Sorry, corney, but fits my upbeat mood that things are getting better and John and Sarah are pressing onto the finish line with energy and intensity.)
John's character is he doesn't give up and can take the heat of the campaign without wilting.
Take away Obama's media support and watch him melt within minutes.
But that media support isn't going away so the rest of us need to keep up the pressure on Obama for real answers as to his background, ethical reversals, connections, and patriotism.
There is too much at stake to give Senator Obama a pass because he is the young prince of the liberals.
America has to continually war within her different political factions to stay on top as a republic. Our form of government forces us to reconcile conflicting voices through dialogue and full exercise of our basic rights. Any voice that dampens or destroys those rights in the name of necessity or change is dangerous to us all. Obama's storm troops are already on the scene in subtle ways.
Obama's posture of socialism is attractive in the short term but is an illusion in the long run. He will cause damage to this nation that will take decades to repair - damage inflicted on the insde while our country is in grave danger to our enemies. Have we forgotten 9/11? |
...tonight...if the markets hold. What McCain really needs is a coherent easy to understand economic plan. |
Down in North Dakota?
Nuff said. |
Hey Insane, are you really as dumb as you sound? You were kidding right? You're pulling our collective leg with your death tax comment right? Some kind of reverse-psychology experiment right?
3 Step Plan for Very Insane:
1) unplug your computer and never plug it back in, ever.
2) whatever meds you're on, double them.
3) in the real world (b/c remember you unplugged your computer so no more cyberspace) stop referring to yourself as Very Sane because if you don't, once you open your mouth you will betray your name. |
What are they voting for? The concepts are very simple.
They think Karl Marx had some valuable insights into capitalist economies! They think Mormons are kooks and B uttsuffers are the best! The Second Amendment does too allow government to ban handguns! Let's standardize the federal age of consent at 16! Health care is a service, not a business! No more wars without United Nations or at least NATO support! Saving the boulder darter was worth a few thousand jobs! If Eastern Europeans think NATO will go to war to defend them against Russia, they're out of their minds! Ditto if Taiwan thinks the United States will go to war to defend it against China! Let's teach evolution in Sunday school! The military-industrial complex is a greater menace than most foreign nations! If Israel isn't out of the occupied territories in six months, we'll cut off all aid. Higher gas prices are good because they make everybody bike and take public transit like they should! America won't be the world's most powerful nation forever. And you know what? Handing that responsibility off will be a relief! America's official languages should be English and Spanish! I do not accept Jesus Christ as my personal savior! I don't even believe in God!
What's so great about the Judeo-Christian tradition? Big-city values are better than small-town values! I'm glad the Muslims whupped the Christians during the Crusades! Served 'em right! We're going to need affirmative action for a long time. Hate Whitie! We're undertaxed. Look at Europe! Terrorism isn't that big a threat to America! I'm not a "progressive," for Pete's sake. I'm a liberal! I'm not a "liberal," for Pete's sake. I'm a leftist! I'm not a "leftist," for Pete's sake. I'm a democratic socialist! I'm not a democratic socialist, for Pete's sake. I'm a Communist! Just kidding! Let's bring back the era of big government. Walter Mondale would have made an excellent president! It's not enough that the top 5 percent pays 55 percent of our taxes. Why not 75 percent? Believe me, they can afford it! Many welfare moms kicked off the rolls by the 1996 welfare-reform bill are worse off in their crappy jobs!* Ronald Reagan was a crummy president! Broad availability of gay marriage: good. Broad availability of gay divorce: better! You want to know why George W. Bush was a lousy president? Because he's stupid! The problem with public schools is private schools! |
This says everything I need to know about Diane:
"...McCain's not as far down as it looks. About 5.4% -- well within the Bradley Effect factor. :-)"
She might as well have said: "Go racism!" |
There is no Bradley effect, as much as the racist redneck right wing nut jobs here would like to think. The new voter demographics which are not represented in any of these polls heavily favor Obama. That will be the big surprise. This thing is really not even close. They may call this election the Obama effect when the a$$ kicking is so much harder on McLame than ever expected. |
McCain is leading with 91%, Obama has 3%, with 6% undecided.
I am shocked......that Obama has that much support..... |
Why are white people Red Neck Racists and Black Folks are not? I do not get it. If 95% of the white race were voting for McCain over Obama. I would have some real problems with my fellow Americans. I have a real question for you. If Obama should win or lose. Will Black Folks burn any of our Cities? They tore up Chicago after the Bulls won the Championship. They tore up L.A. after Rodney King. They ripped off Biz. owners after Katrina. Except for the Black Guy walking around with the shopping cart giving diapers and baby food to people with little children. Anyone know what happend to that guy? God Bless Him and I hope he went on to live a great life. I myself would like to see all races come together for a little old Tea Party in D.C. I do not have anything left for the Government to steal. I have paid and paid for social engineering and I can tell you it does not work.
The Democratic has historically been the party of racists. You know all of the violence that happened against blacks in the deep south? Democrats. KKK? Democrats. Social programs designed to destroy families and keep people in need? Democrats? Planned Parenthood whose founder stated purpose was to abort as many black children as possible? Democrat. Seeing a pattern here? |
Those few NRA members who are voting Obama are probably in Vermont. The states votes blue but doesn't require a non-felon to have a permit to carry a concealed weapon. I don't understand it. |
... so who cares? Oh, wait, Supreme Court justices you say? The Dems will control the Judiciary Committee and have a filibuster-proof floor majority. The Dems can effectively block every McCain SCOTUS nominee McCain sends up until he produces one they like.
And McCain is so adept at reaching across the aisle, that it would be no problem for him to comply. He does it by force of habit.
In the next four years, use this opportunity to get rid of the RINOs like McCain, Spector, Graham, Schwarzenegger, Hutchison and the other squishes who are to blame for the electoral thumping that we all knew the Republicans are going to get. (Hugh knows it too, and he'd admit it if he weren't such a committed party apparatchik.} |
That's in order to more easily facilitate the Child Molestation, which is the official state pasttime..... |
Happy Navy Day to you.
I'll toss back a beer later for you sailors. |
....but we prefer the term, "hoist." :-)
BTW, what happened at 7:10 a.m. on 10/7/08? |
Historically is just that. The past. Unfortunately for you, the Dems are now the party of inclusion, and you are the party of religous nuttery, racism, selfish individualism, greed, war, and of course lies and mistruths. Fortunately, you will also soon be irrelevant. |
FYI, my race-card-playing demagoguing "friends"...the Bradley Effect has little or nothing to do with racism. It has *everything* to do with people's *fear* of **appearing** racist, even when they're not. IOW--it's a PC phenomenon, not a racist phenomenon. I can atetst to feeling it myself: I am scared to death to discuss my McCain/Palin affinity with my best friend at work, who is black. My next-door cubicle neighbor is the same way: We can talk in hushed tones to each other, but we're afraid to be vocal about our GOP ties because of the PC atmosphere. It is oppressive--but it's NOT about racism, believe me.
As someone who has voted for black candidates, both in local elections and in presidential primaries, I *really* resent the kneejerk charge of racism. And frankly, I think it could come back to bite you Obamoton on the butt. American get more than a little tired of being falsely accused and insulted! |
As y'all no doubt know, today is the anniversary of the famous Fatima Miracle of the Sun. I have asked Our Lady (begged her, really) to implore Our Lord to grant us another miracle--a turnaround for McCain/Palin. With the Dow surge, we may be seeing the start of exactly that. Praise God! |
What does any of this matter? You are talking to the choir here. Doesn't matter what we think. McCain is not doing his job and he certainly isn't representing me with his refusal to get on the offensive. He should send Palin in for the next debate. At least she has some fire. Totally disgusting. |
and Hugh, you have your movie show, right? How about a top 10 of movies with characters who never give up? Norma Rae? Rudy? Or the Black Knight in Monty Python and the Holy Grail, you know, the scene where King Arthur cuts just about every appendage off of the Black Knight, and right after he cuts the Black Knight's last leg off, the following dialog happens:
"Black Knight: Okay, we'll call it a draw. King Arthur: [Preparing to leave] Come, Patsy. [King Arthur and Patsy ride off] Black Knight: [calling after King Arthur] Oh! Had enough, eh? Come back and take what's coming to you, you yellow bastards! Come back here and take what's coming to you! I'll bite your legs off! "
John McCain....Black Knight. Ever see them together? Coincidence? I don't think so.
LOL, that Bradley Effect is going to be put to death now. |

My keyboard sticks a lot. :) (easy excue :-)) |

Step1. Prosecute Sen Chris Dodd and Rep Barney Frank for financial malfeasance. Result: the people would have faith in the government dealing in justice, (a primary duty of gov). Step2. Every man, a woman, child and CORPORATION federal tax rate becomes 10%. (All those people that don't pay taxes need to start.) Result: consumer confidence will rise with more money in every one's pockets. Step3. All $$s DERIVED FROM INCOME put into a savings account is tax free. Result: provide lending institutions deposit that they can lend on. Return to moral hazard. Let people & corps go bankrupt. Lastly, freeze gov programs and spending now! The Beltway needs to get out of the way and let Main Street bail out Wall Street!

sorry for the doubl post. It is worth reading twice though :) |

What the dems are is the party of keeping the poor on the DNC plantation to hold power. The party of let them eat cake. Do not let people get up. Hold them back and down. If there were no poor poeple. There would be no reason to have democrats. The more poor people you can have. The more democrat voters there are to hold power. For the democrats to crash a world economy in the name of gaining power for the greater good, just before an election is sick. As the dems fly on private jets burning thousands of gallon of jet fuel in a single day, they make sure you move by the transportation they see fit for you to use. The democrats are the richest people in our Government. Yet they tell you how much money you can keep. They double and triple tax those who create jobs and spit in the face of the Founders who created this Country. Have you ever even taken a brief moment to look at the tax code the democrats have written in the last 40 years? 67,000 plus pages of it.
The democrats in our Government are sickos and those who vote for them are clueless. |
Gallup just came out with this morning's poll and it has Obama up +10. Troubling for McCain is that today's newest Missouri poll has him behind by 8 points and down in North Dakota. |
Conservative Republican William Kristol wrote in The New York Times that the McCain campaign is "close to being out-and-out dysfunctional."
"If the race continues over the next three weeks to be a conventional one, McCain is doomed," Kristol said.
McCain, speaking today in Virginia Beach, Va., acknowledged his campaign was trailing, but denied the race was over.
"The national media has written us off. Sen. Obama is measuring the drapes," he said to a cheering throng. He added, " My friends, we've got them just where we want them."
Alluding ostensibly to the country's economy, his experience as a POW, and his political fortunes, he said, "I know what fear feels like. ... I know what hopelessness feels like. ... I felt those things once before. I will never let them in again. I'm an American. And I choose to fight."
Yeah, we know you were a POW. We also know you have no other character points. You cheated on your wife with a known thief and pill popper (hey, if Michelle being a new attorney in a firm where Dorhn was employed is fodder for you folks, then Cindy's pill popping and theft is clearly up for comment).
McCain, you were a POW because you got shot down. You told them your daddy was an admiral because you didn't want to die. You are Lt. Dan without the honor. |
I was typing my comment, but it was almost word-for-word what you said, so I'll just say "ditto."
Political Correctnes is to blame for more of our nations ills than we know.
The Bradley Effect is just another in a long line of things with the racist label attached... Bull-pucky!
I will say this, though: racism is an ugly thing and it has no place in a great nation such as ours. However, if by racism we are somehow spared the Socialist agenda of one Barack Hussein Obama, I will thank the Lord for my racist fellow citizens.....! |
refute...talk amongst yourselves. Diane, Bradley Effect time, right..racist idiot.
"No candidate has ever lost with a lead like this since modern polling began in 1936," ABC News' senior Washington correspondent George Stephanopoulos told "GMA."
Stephanopoulos said Obama's candidacy is riding a surge of public opinion, fueled by the current economic crisis, which is devastating for the Republicans.
A record number 90 percent of Americans feel the country is on the wrong track and 73 percent disapprove of President Bush's performance, according to the ABC/Post poll.
That disapproval number is also a record, and because Bush is a Republican, it makes it harder for McCain, the GOP candidate, to argue that he would be best to handle the economy. |
how seemingly "normal" people can vote for demonRATs....What mis-fire in their brains tells them that these creeps aren't lying to them? At least on the right we understand that pols are useless. Perhaps electing spineless wimps is what we actually want- after all, being a conservative means you don't WANT a strong central government. Unfortunately, we are up against the focus of evil in this world- leftist elitists who think that we, AND their "useful idiot" followers, are too dumb to self-govern.
What these people have in mind for us is just too awful to imagine- higher taxes and even more "speech codes", destruction of the alternative media and private schools. Don't believe me? Just watch what happens. SOROS is running this show.
Obama says he will decrease taxes for 95%? He's lying or he's just that stupid (you decide which). I happen to believe it's "stupid". If he weren't he would KNOW that fully 1/3 of the population doesn't PAY taxes. He would KNOW that "small business" can be worth up to 10 million if you factor in other factors, like inventory. They small business guy who employs 20 people might well be worth well over that 250K mark and he WILL be hurt. Obama is going to kill jobs. That is, IF Obama is even going to have any say. I think it's very possible that he will have nothing to say about appointments, legislation or anything else. This campaign is only about Obama as the "face guy". |
Your welcome, friend. Hoist it is then.
Their timing was off, but a asteroid entered the upper atmosphere where it burned up.
Too bad, it wouldn't have hurt my feelings if it had hit DC or Wall Street in the mood that I'm in right now.
Army Day is 14 June. :)
I don't know if you ever saw this, but check out the AK-74 here.

The chick looks pretty good too. |
I in turn would vote for you. But look at what we are dealing with: Voice of Reason Randy Jestak UCLA Swimmer m They will not answer a direct question and then immediately roll into ad hominem attacks. The folks listed above are incapable of critical thought. Time has proven that the rep who ran a male prostitution service out of his home is infinitely more dangerous than the rep who sent a few dirty texts to an under age page. I am glad that Mark Foley is gone, the list above is cheering on Barney Frank.
That might work, but if I can't screw the taxpayer, how can I build a 4 million sq. ft. museum dedicated to sculptures made entirely of ear wax and name it after some 17th century homosexual.....? |
But let's look at McCain's friends, shall we?:
Rick Davis -- lobbyist for the finance industry that brought down our economy. He made millions selling lobbyists access to McCain. He is surrounded by 110 fellow lobbyists on the McCain campaign, 84 of whom are directly involved with the finance industry and worked for de-regulation of the giants we now are bailing out.
Henry Kissinger --- "Honorary Campaign co-chair" to McCain's campaign, Kissinger was part of a terrorist act that involved his group Operation Condor. He is a wanted man outside this country for his ties to terrorism.
Charles Keating---took McCain on fancy vacations, donated money to McCain's campaigns and gave him access to his personal jet as payback for his involvement in what became the Keating Five Scandal. McCain has claimed not to know that Keating was dirty, but to imply this would only prove that McCain is a low-wat moron. Either way, he loses.
Father-in-law Hensley----tied to the mafia, killed a man who was going to report on his dirty dealings, and bought McCain's seat in Congress.
US Council for World Freedom---McCain sat on this board with fellow members, Anthony Bouscaren-a veteran of the Pioneer Fund, a eugenics group researching white superiority And Jay Parker, a registered foreign agent for the apartheid government of South Africa in the late ’70s
Marilyn Shannon, Oregon Citizens’ Alliance----a hate group that invited McCain to attend a fundraiser, and against the better judgment of his advisors, he did. McCain sat silently at the fundraiser while listening to the remarks of Marilyn Shannon, who praised a local woman who had just shot a doctor less than two weeks earlier. A doctor who was a former Navy flight surgeon, a sonogram pioneer, was shot in both arms because he performed legal abortions. Shannon praised the woman's act of terrorism - this terrorism cheerleader is now a McCain delegate.
he uses. It is condescending and makes him look like an old fool slobbering all over the people for approval and votes.
Does anyone know of a way to send him the message to drop that idiotic phrase by notifying his campaign? I'd send 100 letters per day if it would help. God, talk about gag a magot! |
OK, the BASE might , might hold in spite of Kristol's view and Hanson's perfect understanding of the electorate. But, then where will McCain go to win over voters? He is behind in most battleground states. Will he be able to get Indies, Reagan Dems back? No leftist socialist pacifist Dem will vote for John. Where will these votes come from? I am sad that the electorate seems to be fooled by the tax cuts lying by BHO and seems to have forgotten about the fact that this guy would have to be CIC against Islamofascism. That hasn't stopped yet. BHO will not stop them. And what other issues haven't even been discussed by the MSM like guns, abortion, crime, gangs, illegal immigration. The CHANGE stuff seems to have mystified the public and fear is the motive. If this continues, BHO will win in a walk. It is absurd and sickening. But there it is unfortunately. The flackers on the Left who think this will save the nation have no historical or cultural understanding but it doesn't seem to matter that a naif will become CIC and be overwhelmed by Iran,China, Russia, Korea, and the Islamofascism. That should frighten the average voter but they seem to believe in Magic over reality. Sad. kgk |
McCain is trailing Obama in ALL battle ground states by more than 8%. This is going to be a landslide for Obama. If you want to vote constructively, deny Obama a mandate by voting 3rd party.
Go Bob Barr!!! |
People have short memories. Bill Clinton campaigned promising a middle class tax cut. It took him less than a month to raise taxes once he was in office. Clueless electorate we've got. Prayer is the only hope.... |
couldn't even get Huckabee as the nominee. |
.....that picture of Obama on Drudge right now would make a few people seriously uncomfortable..... |
Obama wants to stop foreclosures for 90 days - result: Anyone who doesn't have to pay the bank, won't. Banks fail.
Obama wants to wave tax penalty for withdrawing money from IRAs - Result: Money flies out of the stock market and snatches defeat from victory on stock market turn around. Stock Market Fails.
Epic Fail - ANYONE with a macroeconomics 101 class should get this. Apparently Obama can't even claim the economic knowledge of a typical 19 year old who majored in business or anything related to it.

Will it ever end! Nancay Palousy told us they would have ethics for christ sakes! Where is the News Media? Freshman Democratic lawmaker Tim Mahoney of Florida won his congressional district in 2006 after incumbent Republican Rep. Mark Foley resigned weeks before the election. ABC News had found that Foley had sent inappropriate online communications to teenage males in the House Page program. Now, just two years later, ABC News is reporting another scandal just three weeks before Election Day, this time involving Mahoney. According to the investigative report released today, Mahoney paid a previously undisclosed $121,000 settlement to a former staffer, who was also his mistress, in order to stop her suing him for sexual harassment. ABC reports that senior Democratic lawmakers, including Rep. Rahm Emanuel of Illinois, were aware of Mahoney’s personal troubles and were working to keep the matter quiet before Election Day, Mahoney staffers said. However, a spokeswoman for Emanuel disputed that account and said there was only one brief conversation between the two lawmakers in 2007 when rumors of the affair reached Emanuel. The spokeswoman said re-election prospects were never discussed. “Upon hearing a rumor, Congressman Emanuel confronted Congressman Mahoney, told him he was in public life and had a responsibility to act accordingly and appropriately, and urged him to do so. They had no further conversations on this topic,” said the spokeswoman.

The affair reportedly began in 2006, when Mahoney, who is married, was running for Congress. Mahoney fired her in January 2008, and she began legal proceedings in February that concluded with a settlement in March. Particularly damaging is a recording of a Jan. 20, 2008 phone call released by ABC between Mahoney and the woman, Patricia Allen, during which Mahoney fires her. “You’re fired,” Mahoney tells her. “Do you hear me? Don’t tell me whether it’s correct or not.” Allen says, “Tell me why else I’m fired.” “There is no why else,” Mahoney responds. The revelation could cost Mahoney his House seat, which was already one of the most competitive Democratic-held seats this year in a conservative district President George W. Bush won 54%-46% against John Kerry. On Sunday, however, Mahoney received the endorsement of the Palm Beach Post before the story broke. “Tim Mahoney has had a productive two years in Congress, and on Nov. 4 voters should give him two more years,” the paper opined. Mahoney’s opponent is Tom Rooney, an attorney and member of the family that owns the Pittsburgh Steelers football team. Everything Rep. Rahm Emanuel of Illinois touchs turns to sh;t. Between his Clinton and DNC days and now. This guy is toxic or in otherwords, the perfect socialist democrat in our Congress.
Is there anything in the USA this a sshat will not hack? |
The polls are close even with the substantial overweighting of the samples towards democrats, specifically those democrats inclined to Obama. When polling is done in the manner which shows these samples in the correct aspect,Mccain is in a great position.Something the campaign is doing and is pleased with the results.Mccain,in the last eighteen months is showing remarkable timing in the always tumultuous tides of politics. Clearly ,with three weeks to go,an eternity in politics, this is a terrible day for the left.

Hugh, this is the first time I have checked your blog for years. I hopped right on the political talk and rallying that you expounded for the last election cycle. You've been a Bush guy and a faithful conservative for years...a real free marketer...a businessman! You've lost me. Bush lost me, completely. You are going down with the ship with your tainted ideology that has no basis of reality. I am certainly not for Obama. But now you are still cheerleading for our guy, McCain. People who have no cynicism towards our current regime can be classified as....unintelligent. You still believe in the idea of America. Good for you...do you still believe in Santa Claus? America, as you think it, is dead. The only way we get back to basics and our constitution is revolution. And that won't happen 'til the whole house of sand collapses. The founding fathers are looking at each other in awe as we try to get ourselves out of this capitalistic mess. Oh yeah, and the market will correct itself, right? As always, on the backs of the poor. You really care about them, right? |
His version of the American dream is serving as a congressman/woman, mayor, and maybe the president of the United States. Funny, there is no mention of being financially successful and creating wealth for you and your family. This is more of the same Democrat message of being a leach sucking the blood out of the American people.
The government cannot spend our money better that we can.
This is a critical difference between the economic policies of McCain versus Obama. |
Two scandles in one day. Franks Pu dsucking Lover setting the DNC up to kill the worlds economy just before an election and Ron Emanuel/Mahoney Black mail from a little gal in FloriDUH. Nancy Palousy earned her lousy approval rating and the entire DNC needs to pack it up and quit for the good on this Nation. |
Keep voting Democrat because Lord knows black Americans have certainly done well by the Democrats. I am 54 years old and the same problems that black folks have been complaining about are still germane today. It has been more than 40 years! At what point do you stop believing the race baiting, class envy messages, and false promises of a party that doesn’t want you to excel. They want you in the permanent underclass, giving you just enough to keep you surviving but not flourishing.
Give the Republicans a chance. We don’t think you need a boost via affirmative action. You are perfectly capable of becoming whatever you want to be. Please don’t buy into this class envy and race baiting. |

Briggsy's comments help to shed light on this. He says of McCain: "Who the heck is following him?" "Who would WANT to follow him?"
On the other hand, of Obama, Briggsy is all too ready to follow:
What about Obama's 22 years in the company of Jeremiah Wright? Briggsy: "But, I WANT to follow him"
What about Obama's participation with an unrepentant terrorist? Obama's first job was representing Bill Ayers. He and Bill Ayers gave over $110 million to radical activist education projects which did nothing to increase academic performance. Briggsy: "But, I WANT to follow him"
What about the FACT that Obama NEVER offered up nor supported any piece of legislation in Illinois which could be construed as, "Reformist". He NEVER supported a single candidate who was NOT part of Daley's Chicago-Machine. Briggsy: "But, I WANT to follow him"
What about his participation/support for, Rashid Khalidi and his wife Mona, Rashid of whom was the director of P.R. for Yasser Arafat's PLO---and a very committed HATER of Israel and Zionists? Briggsy: "But, I want to follow him"
What about his radical economic, taxation, foreign policies? Briggsy: "But, I WANT to follow him"

...is exemplified by that Insane Woman and her inane remarks regarding the death/estate tax. With ignorameouses like her voting, any horrible outcome is possible.
Loons voting for lies--that would be the libs. Be there more of them than there be of us? Well, right now the polls show there are.
Let us pray the dummies come to their senses and vote McPalin. Otherwise we are so dang screwed.
At this moment, Scary Harry and Nutty Nancy are planning their tax hike and renew the drilling ban bills--to be passed in Nov. right after Barack wins.
Don't let 'em. |
What about Obama's participation with ACORN, the highly controversial, highly unethical, often illegal activities in registering voters and "steering" votes? Briggsy: "But, I WANT to follow him"
What about his connections to felon Tony Rezko and engaging in financial dealings with him? Briggsy: "But, I WANT to follow him"
What about his Participations with John and Todd Stroger in daley's Chicago-Machine? Briggsy: "But, I WANT to follow him"
What about his participations with Emil Jones? Briggsy: "But, I WANT to follw him" |

...like Hillary, John McCain needs to assert himself into each news cycle. Over the last two weeks, he's completely lost his footing. Yes, McCain will likely see a bump if the markets continue to rebound, but there needs to be some strategy other than "Don't vote for that one" because he knows Bill Ayers personally and will raise your taxes if you make over $250K. |
What about Obama's energetic, very active campaigning for the SOCIALIST candidate, Bernie Sanders, for Senator of Vermont in August, 2006?

Briggsy: "But, I WANT to follow him"

this is hard for conservatives to accept, but Barack Obama is riding the crest of a wave of change that American voters want to see in our economic and political life.
No matter how many different strategies (and tactics) the McCain-Palin campaign comes up with day by day, that wave is gathering force and rolling toward Election day. And it will keep right on rolling after the election. |

are why we are where we are right now. And McCain wants to cut earmarks, totaling what, $18 billion a year in how many trillions a year budget?
What exactly would you cut from the budget? Education? Health? War? |
I would count on:
The Polls being off- Most people don't take any calls at home unless they know who it is...not even when their Party Calls GOP. Lots of busy folks like me who'll never ever get polled.
McCain being down but not out- I attended a fundraiser when he was down to his last dime and he was despised by conservatives.A month later I didn't look so stupid.
The Fundamentals favor Mccain- experience, reformer, abortion, immagration, Iraq, security and few want a Liberal Government across the board.
It's going to be close.

Idiots for Democrats!
Party First - Country Last
The lower the intelligence the more likely you are to vote Democrat.
If you vote for the most merciful you will have no one to blame but yourself if he should be elected (God forbid) when the economy goes into the dumper. |
put self first when he appointed Palin. He is playing the fundys. |
Another sign this is a Dem year- American Carol, the right's attempt at humor, had a $20,000,000 budget and has made $6.081,000. Not even 1/3 the cost. Religilous, the Maher documentary with a buget of $2,500,000. has already made $6,702,000 on about 1/3 the number of screens as Carol. Wonder if Billo will bring the movie up again on the factor. Doubtful. |
sorry to the poster who assumed that.
Racist fundy bigot.
Get used to President Obama, though. Do the right thing. |
That was me. Typical Democrat tactic when you have no rebuttal revert to name calling. I will not have to get used to it. |
Here is another sign...the leaves are falling off the trees and it is getting colder. |
1. Would vote for Obama even if his policies were those of John McCain.
2. Would vote for Obama even if his runnig mate were
Sarah Palin.
No racism here.
BRILLIANT!

..is what brought the Bolsheviks into power, the Nazis into power, Castro into power, Allende into power.
The "have-nots", who are taught to blame the "haves" for all their woes, are the ones following The One. They are, have always been, and will always be, clueless--handing the poeple's power over to government so government will be their nanny, wiping their noses as well as their butts.
Get this: It NEVER works.
Kennicott and other US copper companies mined in No. Chile. When the commie Allende came to power, he did what all good commies do "for the people." Gave the exploiting Americans the boot and nationalized the mines.
And what happened? The mines went kapoot--even tho the systems were already in place--and the workers starved.
Now Chile is riding another wave is change: A Harvard Business School (NOT Harvard Law, BTW) trained economy minister turned the once starving commie Chile to into cash cow capitalism. |
Many conservatives, and espcially Christians, never ever darken the corridors of a movie theater. I predict a huge increase in the take of American Carol when it hits the DVD market. You guys were surprised when Gore lost (and so was Gore), you were surprised when Kerry lost (and so was Kerry), so I can't wait to see your faces when That One loses too....! |
...is what Marxists do. The government is in the process of nationalizing banks, lending, insurance companies, and the housing market. Barack wants to nationalize the health care system. Schools have been nationalized for over a century--and in many areas are a mess.
Last week we learned that one HALF of all US children are fed by WIC (Nursing/Preggers Women/Infants/Children- Under 5 years.)
Why is government contol so insidious? There is NO accountability. Government screws up everything it touches.
People mock the notion of trickle-down economics. We know this fer sure: Crap runs downhill. Socialism is trickle-down caca.

According to the Bureau of Labor and Statistics wages have been rising since 2000 and productivity has improved. Unemployment has risen in the last few months. Unfortunately, this is tied to the economy in general and the sub-prime issue in particular. Construction jobs have fallen of tremendously as a result of the housing inventory problems directly related to the the sub-prime mortgage problem. If you look at the graph regarding unemployment claims, the rate started to creep up in the first quarter of 2007. The Democrats took over the House and the Senate in January 2007. Coincidence, I think not. You cannot treat business with disdain and think you can tax and tax and regulate and continue to believe that these people are going to just roll over and take it.
The corporate income tax rates table below shows the reason why companies are moving out of the United States. China’s current tax rates are half of the United States. The labor rates are less than a quarter and regulation is nearly nonexistent. If you were responsible to stockholders what would you do?
Taxable income over Not over Tax rate
$ 0 $ 50,000 15% 50,000 75,000 25% 75,000 100,000 34% 100,000 335,000 39% 335,000 10,000,000 34% 10,000,000 15,000,000 35% 15,000,000 18,333,333 38% 18,333,333 .......... 35%
When companies are moving out of the country faster than new jobs are being created you have stagnant job growth. When there is not a high quantity of jobs available there is less movement by employees between companies. Consequently, employers don’t have to be as concerned with their competitiveness in the job market. Lower the corporate tax rate and eliminate capital gains and watch out. |
..fiasco is the result of outta control capitalism. Uh-uh. (Although we all believe in reasonable, effective government regs). This mess is obviously the result of outta control social engineering, forced by the likes of Barack Obama and his ilk.
Classic Saul Alinsky: Cause chaos and then swoop in promising to clean up the chaos.
..posting to me (K.G., or the other poster KG). Doesn't matter. We are all like minded...that is we have a mind.
For a while at least--although we may all lose our minds if the current plethora of knuckleheads insist on voting.
I wish Mack could make the point: Barack is not only a baby killer, he is a job killer. Of course, with fewer jobs, infanticide works. |
This guy has no rudimentary understanding about the economy. He thinks the government creates jobs when it is well known that small business is the engine that drives the economy. He says that “we need to spread the wealth around.”
As my hero Ronald Reagan said: How do you tell a communist? Well, it's someone who reads Marx and Lenin. And how do you tell an anti-Communist? It's someone who understands Marx and Lenin. |
But let's consider an Obama win.
With hard-hitting, targeted ads by McCain and conservative 527's, Obama's name can be dirt by Nov 4. DIRT!
PS: I cannot wait till the messiah's tv program. Today he called for tax cuts for small businesses. By the time the tv show airs, Obama will be channeling Barry Goldwater. I guess the Chicago Hustler has figured out that conservatism wins. Somebody better tell McCain.
Hey Whats up with the new Mahoney Scandal?? He paid off his mistress? Another one bites the dust heh heh!!! Poor Democrats don't know how to keep themselves pure to their ladies eh? MSM should be on this one. Rahm Emanuel and Pelosi Knew about it
What happened to Pelosi's pure Congress??? LOL,,Gotta Love It! |
Wait till the scandal sinks into the consciousness of the average FL voter.
Poll numbers in FL will be interesting to watch. |
If Hugh has a prob predicting election outcomes, it's that his high hopes make him blind to the stupidity of many voters.
I once heard Hugh say (on radio) that he doesn't read our posts. Well, he should. Then he would get it that there are bunch of you easily-swayed baffoons out there willing to vote Obama and his utopian lies.
There is that oft cited quote of Winston Churchill: "The best case against democracy is five minutes with the average voter."
If Hugh spent more time listening to you, Buffie, he might be a little more cynical about the outcome of this election. |
are a hoot.
I'm calling names? No, I'm identifying the 'usual suspects' of those who fear Obama. You really are afraid. He has really good advisors. He'll be a great president (unlike the one we have now). |
...but government itself. The Founding Fathers knew it. And now, so do we. |
Nobody on this site whom you are attempting to influence is going consider "The Independent" a credible source. Likewise: ABC, NBC, CBS, Daily Kos, NYT, WaPo, CNN, HuffPo,.... |
Obama's advisors? Good? Now that's a hoot! |
Just said he wants to give small companies captial gains relief. Does Obama understand most small compaines aren't in the stock market where you earn captial gains on stock? (BIG compaines are in the stock market)
Gezzz this guy has no idea what he's saying.
Plus a 3000 dollar tax break to hire someone. Ahhh you hire when the job market is good, not in a slow down and 3000 bucks means zip to company who must spend a bunch more than that to hire you. |
This guy has no rudimentary understanding about the economy. He thinks the government creates jobs when it is well known that small business is the engine that drives the economy. He says that “we need to spread the wealth around.”

Stock market up 936.42...bad news for the most merciful. McCain will make huge hay on the most merciful’s four point manifesto this morning. In it he speaks of government needs to get to the business of creating jobs…wrong! Entrepreneurs and their small enterprises are responsible for almost all the economic growth in the United States. |
Maybe the most merciful things you pay capital gains taxes when you invest in business like sales tax when you buy something. |
When JFK was the President. He cut taxes to stimulate the economy. JFK could not get elected to the party of socialism and Obama, Palousy, Reid and the News Media. By cutting taxes you will create growth and grow the amount of income to the Government. Do not take my word (or JFK) for that matter. It is a documented fact and easy to find yourself. Obama is thinking like Hoover who raised taxes in a slow economy and created a depression that should have lasted three years. FDR took a three year depression and turned in into a ten year depression (historic Fact). Taxes are to CONTROL the masses and move power to the Government from the people. |
What is McCain running on? Apart from being right on the surge, what else? I think McCain actually likes Obama. I think he agrees with alot of Obama policies. Think of his silence in the debates on issues like tax.
If the good readers here think he is going to turn into some conservative champion overnight, they are bound for disappointment. He is no conservative. He is a "moderate". He worked in the Senate with other "moderates" like Ted Kennedy. He worked with the "moderates" to fight against convervatives in the Senate. That's why we hated him when he joined Democrats to fight tax cuts, or oppose judicial nominees.
He is now trying to be something he is not. He is trying to represent people he does not. His brain must be in turmoil right now. What is Sarah Palin thinking when she watches him. Now she is a leader to get excited about. |
I hope that McCain takes NONE of this guy's advice. |
He was not our first, second, third or fourth choice, but we got 'em. And why are we fighting so fiercely for him?
Because he is 100 times better than Obama and his "white man's greed runs a world in need" world view.
Imagine a country with Batty Barry, Nutty Nancy and Scary Harry in charge. It sounds like the worst kind of Halloween party.
Get a grip on reality, you guys. |
Maybe the most merciful things you pay capital gains taxes when you invest in business like sales tax when you buy something. +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
Ahhh what... Captial gains come from a profit on stocks.

Where on this planet do you get the view that Democrats are the party of fiscal sanity? They created this dammed awful subprime mess by forcing lending to give to minorities via the CRA signed off by Clinton. Now the Democrats accuse lenders of preying off these same minorities. Democrats stopped the curbs on Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac. Tell me the spending deficits they opposed (remember, they are the majority in Congress). What drugs are you snorting to come up with the line that Democrats are the party of fiscal sanity? Sadly though, Republicans are too little better. |
...confusing Republicans with conservatives.
Sh*t sandwiches? That's more of what the libs are cooking up for us with their brand of "fiscal sanity."
Barack's brand of fiscal sanity is what's got us in this mess in the first place. His nanny-statism has already earned him the label incompetent boob among anybody with a brain. |
Try as you might. . . . this is not going to change the direction of the election or polls. When you look and listen to Sen. McCain, you get a person who was at one time a Maverick, but sold his soul for the nomination; when look look and listen to Gov. Palin, you get a person who should be no closer to the most powerful office in the world than Tina Fay or Bill Murry. Honestly, it is only going to get worst come Thursday morning, and wish as you might, it is all going down the drain for the neocon far right. |
I was trying to be funny…evidently not. That's why I had the smiley face at the end of the sentence.
Obama said earlier today he would provide capital gains tax relief when investing in new business. In other words he doesn't understand that you pay capital gains tax on capital gains, i.e. stock gains, real estate investment, etc. |
Is Sen. McCain finished? I hope not but he must do a 180 or he is. Telling us that Sen. Obama would be okay as president. Is he kidding? In a recent poll 74% of CEO's said they prefer Sen. McCain to Sen. Obama. Why haven't we heard this? Why isn't Gov. Romney being asked to campaign all over the country on the economy? Why aren't many of the CEO's out campaigning for Sen. McCain? Why hasn't Sen. McCain more effectively lumped Sen. Obama with Sen. Dodd and Rep. Frank? Why hasn't Sen. McCain told the American public that Sen. Obama has reached across the aisle less than any other Senator on the left? How can Sen. Obama be a consensus builder when he rarely reaches across the aisle? The McCain is nearly as poorly run as Sen. Dole's failed Presidential bid. |
who is unqualified, not Obama. He must have picked Palin to make him seem much more qualified.
Please name one notable accomplishment for the most merciful except taking Ayers fish for a walk. |
Are Kos Koolaid Kids giving lessons in trying to psyche out conservaitves? If so, I hope they are free becasue they are worthless. To compare McCain, who warned this nation of its FNMA catastrophe, negatively to the Obama-Biden democrats, who profited from causing the meltdown, is insulting to intelligent people everywhere. And to state that Gov. Palin has no business near the Oval office while pretending Biden, who does not know history, Constiution, or even what restaraunts he eats at, does, is just hilarioius. You lefty hacks gave it a good go, but I think America is going to go with old guy who actually has done something to help Americans, and not the con-artist poser from Chicago. |
More like rats trying to get into the White House pantry. I am not going to ask are you serious because from your past posts I know you are...unfortunately.
I really think we need to institute a competency test before you are awarded a voter card. This would eliminate a tremendous amount of electoral problems. Also the Democrats should be prevented from giving their constituents crayons for their voter registration drives. |
Like the county's future depended on it... |
Tina Fey leaves the planet if McCain/Palin win! Sure, McCain is part of the status quo's Old Guard, but getting rid of *anyone* from that idiotic "comedy show" SNL? Worth my vote!
“We're gonna take it week by week. If she wins, I'm done,” Fey tells TV Guide in the Oct. 20 issue. “I can't do that for four years. And by ‘I'm done,’ I mean I'm leaving Earth.” |
The last couple of elections that Republicans won usually has at least one ignorant celebrity promising to leave the country. Now Tina Fay is going home. It is said you can’t go home again. This is a good sign! Why so concerned with the most merciful’s coronation all but assured? |
You're like reefer madness. lol You go get em tiger! lololol Oh those terrible Clinton years when the country was doing so well! lol God forbid we should go through good times like that again! lolol And now that people realize their votes really do impact their lives, you expect us to vote for the guy that picked Sarah Palin to be one heartbeat away from the presidency, over the guy that picked Joe Biden? Come on now. We've seen enough Republican/Bushlican b.s. to last us and our grandchildren lifetimes.
Can't you hear us?
ENOUGH IS ENOUGH.
Obama/Biden '08 & '12 |
...is name calling all you've got? Thought so.
LOL.
My husband says McCain and *all* Republican candidates this year should ask the American people, over and over again until it sinks in, "Are you better off than you were two years ago?"
Because the fact is, the economy didn't start tanking until after the Dims seized control of Congress. Coincidence? I think not! |
From Carl Bernstein: "Does John McCain "pal around with terrorists?"
Certainly McCain's continuing "association" and relationship with the convicted Watergate burglar and domestic terrorist G. Gordon Liddy might suggest that is the case, if we are to apply the standards drawn by the McCain campaign.
In 1998, Liddy gave a fundraiser in his Scottsdale, Arizona home for McCain's senatorial re-election campaign -- the two posed for photographs together; and as recently as May, 2007, as a presidential candidate, McCain was a guest on Liddy's syndicated radio show. Inexplicably, McCain heaped praise on his host's values. During the segment, McCain said he was "proud" of Liddy, and praised Liddy's "adherence to the principles and philosophies that keep our nation great."
We were better off in 1999. McCain is dead man walking. Tina Fey is simply speaking of having too much work to do if Palin were elected. She'd have to do SNL each week showing us how dumb Palin is.
graduating at the bottom of his class at Annapolis, crashing at least 3 planes, getting captured, telling your captors who your daddy was to get better treatment, cheating on your disabled wife, living with your 20 year younger beer heiress mistress before you got divorced, ignoring her so she ends up addicted to pills she then steals from a charitable foundation, getting involved with a guy who gutted his savings and loan to the disadvantage of elderly investors and savers, has McCain ever done?
He is only the candidate because Christian fundys hate Mormons and NY conservatives. |
I don't answer questions asked by classless, crude, rude, uncouth name callers. Henceforth you are on my Ignore List, big guy. ;-)
jtb in Texas--amen!! I prayed my head off on Saturday. Since then I have been feeling much more hopeful, but I'm not going to stop praying! |
...history re-writers. Have you ever heard of the Gingrich Congress?
PS: Better Liddy's world view than Ayers'. |
Really? Liddy is an ex-convict. Ayers was never convicted. Funny how you have treat Ayers the way you do.
Ever consider that? And I don't care what Clinton did or didn't do. We had a surplus. |
But he is no terrorist. I suppose the breaking into DNC headquarters at the Watergate is a moral equivalence of the bombing of the Pentagon, Judge Murtaugh's house and the indoctrination of the kids of Chicago.
Nice try! |
so I have no idea what you are talking about.
Stop fighting the Vietnam war and the culture wars of that time.
Liddy is a nutcase who said that "...listening to Hitler's speeches "made me feel a strength inside I had never known before." At the Committee to Re-elect the President (Nixon), "Liddy concocted several plots, some far-fetched, intended to embarrass the Democratic opposition. These included firebombing the Brookings Institution in Washington, D.C. (where classified documents leaked by Daniel Ellsberg were being stored), kidnapping anti-war protest organizers and transporting them to Mexico during the Republican National Convention (which at the time was planned for San Diego), and luring mid-level Democratic campaign officials to a house boat in Baltimore where they would be secretly photographed in compromising positions with call girls."
"Over the years, Liddy has made four contributions totaling $5,000 to Senator John McCain's campaigns -- including $1,000 in 2007."
I wouldn't taint McCain with Liddy despite much longer and closer ties with an admitted and convicted terrorist and bigot, but you would taint Obama with someone he had little contact with who was NOT CONVICTED.
This is why McCain is behind. His judgment of what is important is flawed. |
The only possible positive thing that can come out of the election of Obama is that November 5th can herald the opening of Copperhead hunting season for armed Patriots. |
"He is only the candidate because Christian fundys hate Mormons and NY conservatives."
For once, I agree with a liberal.
McCain was a weak choice - the "winner by default" after all the real contenders fighting for the lead collided and crashed to the ice. And once Schmuckabee got the Iowa fundamentalists to reject "The Mormon Debil," McCain coasted in for the win.
It happens in Olympic speed skating, it happens in politics.
Sadly, McCain vs. Obama is a lose-lose proposition for us conservatives. |
Those of lesser intelligence tend to vote Democrat. A technicality let Ayers' off the hook and Clinton pardoned his wife. This is a big difference. McCain is a patriot. Obama is an anti-American. It wasn’t until the grits hit the fan that he started wearing his flag pin. That tells me he is a weasel and like Clinton advocates symbolism over substance.
Party First - Country Last |
Are you sure you are a Conservative? Quitters Never Win, Winners never Quit! You can't be a conservative, are you someone who gave up on our boys in the military, like Obamaians? Want to quit and run? Want to be a coward? True Conservatives NEVER QUIT! and we don't follow the false Messiah as Farrakhan puts it! |

you mean like Sarah 'I couldn't get through college' Palin?
Patriotism is the last refuge of a scoundrel. McCain is not qualified to be POTUS. He isn't even qualified to be president of his prison camp. He was a snivley little coward who wanted to live so he told them who his daddy was. To live. Nothing more, nothing less.
He cheated on his wife. Nothing more, nothing less.
He is not an honorable man. Obama is not anti-American. He is personification of everything that this country has meant to us all, and all who came before us, since 1776.
And you rag on Obama for talking about bitter folks with their love of guns and religion? |

I don’t know the classic definition of a “fundy” as so defined by the Godless left. I can spell fundamentalist so I don’t quite understand.
I had absolutely no problem with Mitt’s religion. As I have said on a number of previous posts I have never met a bad Mormon. Every one of the LDS people I know are strong family people and have never heard a bad word out of their mouth about anyone. His speech about the founding of our nation was one of the best I have ever heard. The appealing thing about Mitt was his exception talent for organization and cleaning dead wood out of an organization. Washington DC is the Amazon Jungle of dead wood.
Hopefully, he will get a crack at this. We don’t need more lawyers or profession politicians running the country. We need business people who know how to run an organization without five or more levels of redundancy. |
is a disparaging term for fundamentalist. I don't believe that all fundamentalists are bad, just fundys who seem to think this is still 1000 AD. |
Whatever Sarah's IQ or John's qualifications, your mentioning 1776 and Barack Obama in the same sentence reveals you as a loon.
Barack is the "personification" of all the Original Patriots hated: government and/or mob tyranny.
In fact, some Founding Fathers believed a democracy wouldn't work because the uneducated, self-serving dolts would vote like uneducated, self-serving dolts.
Whatever weaknesses and imperfections you might rightly see in McPalin, voting for Barack on the basis of his 1776 bona fides only prove that certain Founders may have beeen right.
You might just vote America (and the rights in insures for YOU) right out of existence. |
Ebony Ebony Ebony. Obama is a terrorist Obama is a terrorist. Say it often enough and it becomes new.
Now down to brass tacks. Does Obama believe in the Constitutional Republic that this nation was founded upon? Please site source. Bet you can't find one speech, one article one lecture where he extolled the virtue of our Great Experiment - NOT ONE.
Chairman Mao er I mean Obama is a Communist plain and simple and he is aided and abetted by Che Gueverra er Bill Ayers.
Ebony, are you there? |
McCain had no message today other than he has Obama where he wants him (6-10 points ahead), Obama gives a speech on his economic plan and the Dow goes up 936. Looks like Wall Street gave Obama a vote of confidence. |
...Barack voters interviewed by Howard Stern?
You know those people who were voting for Barack because "he's against stem cell research, wanting the troops to stay in Iraq and he's pro-life. Those folks who are OK with Sarah Palin being his VP, who believe she'll do a good job."
Your posts, as well as Stern's interviews, do call into question our ability to self-govern. |
Don't give Obama credit where credit isn't due! He will bring this country to its knees when he gets in there and starts turning this free country into a Socialist Welfare Country! |
because McCain is attacking Bush now. Soon he'll be for a timetable for withdrawal, anything that will maybe get him elected. Soon, he'll be ditching Palin and asking Lieberman to join the ticket.
It isn't? What year is it...1984? |
A lot you know. The market recovered because the Dodgers won last night.
The market is banking on Obama not winning. If there is the remotest possibility he might win, the market will be down to 1990 levels. The street understands socialists very well. |
Look at the polls. It is going to be a landslide for Obama and Biden. Even Virginia is leaning Obama now. Maybe the center of the country should secede. They can ask Sarah and Todd to be their President and First Dude. That's the ticket! |
I guess the Democrats think that Dallas is even bigger than it actually is---its city limits extend all the way to Las Vegas; it was discovered that the Dallas Cowboys were registered to vote in Nevada.
Now today, in Ohio, "Freddie" testified that ACORN got him to register 73 times-------yep, 73 times. And other people testified similarly, having received in return, cigarettes, and cash. What's heinous about this deal is that ACORN has been under incredible scrutiny across the country---and exhibits no compunction nor any indication that things have changed---will change---from the allegations levelled against them for quite some time.
Yep----Obama's campaign is running like a fine tuned machine. Just as it was designed to. |
has Obama up in Ohio. and...
"In Virginia, a state that no Democrat has won

since 1964, Obama earns 50 percent support for the third straight week while McCain is at 47 percent. Those results are essentially unchanged from each of the past two weeks.
In Florida, it's Obama 51 percent, McCain 46 percent. That's a bit closer than last week when Obama enjoyed a seven-percentage point lead. But, as recently as mid-September, McCain had been leading by five. This is the second straight week that Obama has been over the 50 percent mark in Florida. McCain has not topped 47 percent in any of the last three Florida Fox News/Rasmussen Reports polls.
In Missouri, the results are unchanged from a week ago -- Obama 50 percent, McCain 47 percent. A month ago, before Wall Street's financial problems became visible on Main Street, McCain was up by five points in Missouri.
The first FOX News/Rasmussen Reports poll in North Carolina finds a tie in the Tar Heel State. Both McCain and Obama earn 48 percent of the vote. These numbers represent a very slight improvement for McCain compared to earlier Rasmussen Reports polling in North Carolina but the fact that the race is even competitive in this southern state signals trouble for McCain.
Overall, these swing state results confirm what the national numbers are showing. For the past two-and-a-half weeks, Obama's support has stayed in a very narrow range from 50 percent to 52 percent every day in the Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll. During that time, McCain has been at 44 percent or 45 percent every day.
The national results indicate that Obama is running eight or nine points better than John Kerry did four year ago. The state polling released this week generally shows Obama doing eight or nine points better than Kerry as well."
Gosh darn. And Kerry would have won with just 130,000 more votes where? Ohio? So, if he wins Ohio, and holds onto all the states that Kerry won, Obama wins. Period. No other states necessary. But he's ahead in many of those too. Lots of new voters. Many people, like my kids, going to take voters to the polls. And sorry to tell you, but they already sent in their absentee ballots so they can go to Nevada and take folks to the polls.
What polls might those be?
I got news for you it is more than the center of the country. It is more like 90% of the area of the United States.
I would agree to seceding and allow you and your ilk to have 10% or so of the country. You can have left coast, the upper Midwest, and the Northeast. You folks get to live the way you want with your high taxes, your anything goes society and all the legal wrangling they permeates your being. We will keep the remainder of the country, continue with our self-reliance, and America the Beautify mentality. An added bonus will be the military that will undoubtedly side with us, will protect you and only charge you like a shared resource in a big company. How does that sound? You don’t have to worry about any of those “fundamentalist” views to intrude on your all porn all the times stations, no conservative radio or TV, Any other deviant behavior that you treasure can be yours without any scrutiny. It sounds like Shangri-la doesn’t it? |
Wasn't Hugh (and other wingnut pundits) telling us that the market was falling in part because of lack of faith in an Obama presidency? What does it mean that as the "conventional wisdom" (which, yes, could change) has firmed up around an Obama victory, the market shoots up? Just maybe... the market likee the Obama? |
Whatever is driving the Market (today), it's certainly not Obama. The Market hates Obama. Nothing BO is promising will be good for the Market.
Anybody who understands the Market understands this simple truth.
On the other hand, we know what's driving Obama's numbers; stupid people believing his collectivist lies.

Have you poll watchers gone to Bill O webpage, Question asked: If the election were today who would win: 63 percent Mccain, 37 percent Obama. Hows that for a Poll Libs? |
The leftists and their self delusion is nothing short of amazing. They do analysis make interpretations like the Propaganda Ministry from inside a vacuum without a whit of common sense. Don’t get me wrong I am not complaining but these people think they are the most intelligent among us and yet are consistently wrong. Yet being consistently wrong the idiots that make up their constituency continue to vote for them. What does that say about them?
Twenty days is a lifetime in a national election. The most merciful stepped in it today with his “we have to share the wealth” comment. I believe this will be the seminal moment in the 2008 election. The nice thing is that this can be sprayed on the remainder of the Democrat Congress, since they are in lockstep behind him, and just in time for the Congressional and Senate elections. Nobody but the 15% or so of the kook fringe wants socialism and that is exactly what dumb arses have unveiled. I am certain that the RNC is in production of a commercial about this as we speak. |
LLR- that's as scientific as the Fox polls after the recent debates. The Fox callers had it McCain by about 85% to 15% for Obama, but the real scientific polls had Obama winning by comfortable margins. The Billo poll just shows who is reading his web site. Question- if you asked the same question on Daily Kos or Huffington, who would win? The answer is obvious. I'll stick with the RCP numbers, which show Obama with 304 electoral votes, mccain with 158 and 76 toss-up. Can you say landslide? |
calls on our landline phone. But 3-hours ago I picked up one from Gallup. I happily lied my a** off and came through as an enthusiastic Bammaite. Wonder how many others get a tickle doing that.
:-) FUN! |
I had a poll call last week. I gave Obama a four-star rating and finished the call with "God Bless the Messiah".
It was hysterical! |
I can say landslide. Can you say your candidate was outed as the socialist he is?
We BAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAADDDD!!
I look at it as more follow-up for Operation Chaos. There must be keening, wailing and rending of garmets at Bammy HQ over the biggest bounce upward in stock market history today. How morally bleak to cheer for anything Bad for America.
10 out of 10 Terrorists Say: ANYBODY But McPalin!
Little butchers are praying 15 times a day--toward Mecca--for a Bammy Victory. |
Fools have always mocked and spurned the wise. These shall be judged according to their lies. |
"Whatever is driving the Market (today), it's certainly not Obama. The Market hates Obama. Nothing BO is promising will be good for the Market.
Anybody who understands the Market understands this simple truth."
Nobody understands the market. That's been obvious. Except for KG. If you say something COMPLETELY counterintuitive and kinda dopey, it must actually be true. KG, you must be very, very rich with all this MARKET KNOWLEDGE. Dunno why you're slumming on these boards when you could buy GM. |
When Superfly said he wants to "spread the wealth around",it sent chills around the country. And then the little Mrs. followed up with her "it's time for those with the most pie to give up their share to those who have none".
May they pray tonight for bad news!
brighter than you, Leftoid Loon. Yep, markets LIVE for O'Bammy. This is well known. |
We'll get over it, just like we did after Carter. Yes, he did some damage. I actually think there's a silver lining if McCain loses. Maybe we'll get a real conservative next time, and one who can stay awake.
And maybe we cal tell the bigots to go to hell. Thye gave us McCain, you know. |
"bradk...In Deep Alpha Sleep K.G. Is Far brighter than you, Leftoid Loon. Yep, markets LIVE for O'Bammy. This is well known."
'Scum (may I call you 'Scum?)... the markets fare better under Dems than Reps. It's historical fact, NOT opinion.
From Fidelity: In the case of the post-election years, the six Democrats who won the White House coincided with stronger stock returns in their first year (15.7%), while the nine Republicans suffered through below-average stock returns (1.9%)
http://publications.fidelity.com/investorsWeekly/applicatio n/loadArticle?pagename=FEA0802elections
So, you and KG can bleat your ignorant doublespeak, but the markets are NOT fearing Obama. Or Dems.
Not that it matters, I'm in Oregon. But McCain hasn't earned my vote. He's not a loyal republican, why should I be?
Bigotry fractured the conservative base and gave us the worst candidate. We can thank Iowa, Huckabee, and the Bigot Brigade.
And he didn't have the decency to choose a credible VP. He caved to the bigots. He played the gender card. He did NOT put country first and now he's asking me to put country first.
Well, I am. I'm not voting for him. I'm not afraid of Barack Obama. He's going to be a flop. And our party will have a couple years to decide what it wants to be about. I hope it chooses good old fashioned American ideals.
No thanks to the Democrat lite, and it's not so lite anymore. |
So we can say we’re good people. We voted for a half black/half white, incompetent socialist. If McCain doesn’t deserve your vote exactly why does the most merciful. What are his qualifications? What has he accomplished? He stepped in it today with his “we need to spread the wealth around” comment. This is his John Kerry (Genghis Kahn of the Mekong Delta) United Nations’ moment. The imbeciles that are going to vote for him regardless of his qualifications don’t matter. However the 70% of thinking Americans will not enable a socialist to destroy the greatest country in the history of civilization.
Sorry, don't count me in. This guy doesn't belong in state government much less national government or POTUS. This is another media creation.
...Obama, but for me he's a disaster. He will raise my taxes just like Clinton did. Very costly indeed. This time it will be worse.
Obama will be horrible for the economy. Rethink your position. It's not about McCain; it's about the rest of us.
It's not that Obama will be a flop; it's the damage he will do while he's flopping. |
serial polluter sallies forth here. Paying overtime at Moveon, Lil Squid? Bammy ain't no reg'lar Demowit, Genius. Nope, he's very special. Ask Billy, Bernardine and the low key Jeremiah. The triumph of Capitalism isn't what this Alinskyite Retreatist is about, Homes. Promise.
PC...You've been grazing in those meadows along Beaver Creek--back of Waldport--picking those pesky 'shrooms again, haven't ya, Babycakes? |
Equals a new party in the Executive Office.
It is an old story regardless of where one rests on the political spectrum. When you have this equation in effect, folks will turn to the other party.
The mountain McCain has had to climb is next-to-impossible to reach. People tend to look at what is going on and the first reaction is to blame the party in control of the White House.
The Democrats are running an empty suit who has made it this far largely on the back of one speech he gave against the Operation Iraqi Freedom. But in times like these, an empty suit filled with equally bankrupt ideals from a discredited socialist past will do the trick.
Don't worry. Relax. They will have a puppet POTUS doing what he is told (as he has always done) by the likes of Pelosi and Reid. We'll have Frank and Dodd running our mortgage policy (Maybe Barack will choose Franklin Raines for Secretary of the Treasury!). And I guess we'll get our military oversight from the likes of John Murtha and Patty Murray.
And in 2010, after the left overplays their hand yet again, Howdee-Doody will have GOP majorities to deal with in both the House and Senate.
I hate to think what Barack will do to the SCOTUS over the next 4 years, but I think we need a good reminder what this country is like under a full Democrat leadership. Republicans have truly lost their way. We have caved in so many ways. We spend too much, we turn a blind eye to illegal immigration, we have let morality decline, we have stopped standing up for what is decent. By WE, I mean our elected representatives. McCain was given to us by bad finance rules that let the media pick our candidate for us. It really sucks, but it seems many need a reminder. |
Don't believe PC. It has never been a conservative, much less a Republican.
Don't waste your time with socialists unless you're in it for a good laugh. |
I don't want to surrender our position at all, precisely because of taxes and SCOTUS. The results will be far reaching and damaging to all except the dead heads that will vote him in.
I honestly think his comment to the plumber from Holland, OH "we need to share the wealth" will come back to haunt him.
We who are true conservatives need to work at the grass roots level. Someone earlier posted that we need to start at the PTA, City Council, County Council, and so on in order to sow the seeds of conservatism so as to derail these big government bureaucrats |
With Pelosi, Frank, Reid, Dodd, Schumer, Clinton, Kennedy, Boxer, Finestein, et al; we are little better off than when the red coats were in Boston Harbor.
Unless I am mistaken we have reached tyranical government as of October 13, 2008, comparable to what we had with King George prior to the revolution. |
I agree that it starts at the grass roots level. It's very frustrating to see the level of ignorance today. I do believe everything is cyclical but it seems the cycle edges left each time it goes around. |
..Down's child, who believes Palin should be home carring for her own Down's baby.
PC was also a fierce Mitt supporter, who resented Mormon Derangement Syndrome among some evangelicals. There's resentment that the anti-Mo's got their way by forcing the Palin pick.
But I thoroughly disagree that an Obama win is of no consequence to conservatives. That is wacked.
I for one have been pulling for Palin, hoping she can help a McCain win. Like Magua says: It's about taxes the SCOTUS. |
...we had here in San Diego a mother of six named Celeste. In revolt over taxes, she threw tea in the San Diego Harbor--and was arrested for messing with the environent.
I believe things have gone way past King George and we will suffer forever more because of goofy-thinking voters.
A Rass poll on FOX tonight saying the majority of voters believe Barack's plan to raise taxes will save the economy.
It's the tyranny of the stupid. Whadda goin' do about that? Throw 'em all in the bay? Works for me. |
Thank you for explaining me.
But I don't think an Obama presidency is of no consequence, it clearly is - it will be terrible. But I think that allowing the party to be defined by McCain for the next 4 years could be just as big a disaster or worse.
We need to get the party right for our ideas to win again. A McCain/Palin presidency will make that impossible. Every GOP congressman is going to have to go along with whatever McCain dishes out, and we know who he is.
BTW - I'm not voting for Obama, I'm just not voting for McCain. And, I'm not drinking the Palin koolaid - ever. She is 100% unqualified.
That "tyranny of the stupid" line is priceless. Mind if I use it? Although we don't have any bays here in Missouri, but we do have the great Mississippi River.
I find it hard to fathom just how many people think they understand the economics of taxes and will vote Obama. Not only is his plan nonsensical, it is impossible to implement. Like they say, you can't fix stupid. |
...state: CA. So my vote lost gets in the sea of Obama voters. I quite agree McCain and the Pubs are a disaster for conservatism. But you gotta know who you're mad at.
I see that the problem is the voters. And what would convince them to be conservatives, which requires brains and balls? The libs own all the propaganda outlets: Public schools, the MSM and the entertainment industry.
McCain won the primary for the very reason he is not conservative.
Like you, I wanted Mitt. But it was just too easy to write him off as a perfectly coiffed outta-touch rich white guy instead of the bright, accomplished man on honor and integrity that he is.
We are stuck with a bunch of baffoons at a time when we need some real competitence. Oh well. |
I feel like those Highlanders at Culloden, engaged against overwhelming forces I can do little to stop.
I'm not angry. They want Howdy-Doody. That is their right and to be frank we shouldn't be surprised about it. Remember Jimmy Carter? I would've voted for a roach over him (I still hold him below contempt and hope there is a special place in hell waiting for him in the hereafter.). That is how I felt at the time and I'm certain that is where many folks on the other side of the aisle are right now. McCain is just paying the piper for Bush.
Even though I stand on the plain with my fellow Conservative soldiers, poorly-equipped, starved for true leadership, and envious of the arms the enemy has to strike us with, I feel confident that we'll come through this fine. We survived Carter and thrived after his departure. We'll survive the Daley-made puppet as well.
I fully expect Howdy and the puppet-masters behind him to demonstrate their level of stupidity for all to see in the next two years.
In situations like these, where one party controls everything, they can do one of two things:
1.Govern responsibly, maintaining a course close to the center where the majority of the electorate remain in this nation.
or...
2.Govern on a course of extremism and/or self-interest, alienating themselves from the people who put them in office.
Absolute power in a free society is as much a curse as it is a blessing. Its use requires wisdom, character, and responsibility. As we've seen in '94 and '06, voters have proven intolerant when this power is used poorly.
Judging from their primary role in Fannie and Freddie, I fully expect them to abuse this power just as we did in the Lott/Hastert years.
With no Bush strawman to hide behind, the voters will make the Democrats pay for those actions in '10.
If you throw all the stupid people into the Mighty Mississippi, they will all end up in....tah dah.......New Orleans: lib heaven.
But I doubt it they would make it that far. If they did, at least they'd have friends to great them! Thanks for the laugh. |
Oops, meant "greet", not "great". Must be getting late--even my dog is yawning. |
I've been contemplating how to reply to you, and it's difficult. I was just a young child when Carter was president, and he is the only president I ever saw in person.
I'm also a southerner by birth, transplanted to the great Midwest. But I have little respect for Carter's views.
But I also have a hard time understanding yours. You seem convinced that Obama is a manufactured candidate, yet you think we should just sit back and say, "oh well, we've survived worse in the past"?
I say no! The recent realization of strong conservative women is that we DO NOT have to embrace the brand of feminism that was spoon-fed to us for the last 40 years. We want our grandmothers' brand of feminism, which is just simply the freedom to do what men do. Nothing more, nothing less.
We embrace hard work, determination, and the attitude that yes, we can have it all! (Yes, that includes our loving men and our babies, too.)
And that is what McCain/Palin offers us!
I'm standing with you, Beef. Don't give up hope. |
As it looks right now the Gov will inject Capital into 9 large banks. They may also guarantee deposits for small business (they already had that power but did not use it before now).
This approach puts the regional and small banks at a disadvantage. Some of them will be bankrupt as deposits flow to the big banks. The big banks will buy up the distressed small banks.
The Bush Adm are a bunch of idiots. They are slow. They would not use powers that they already had. They caused the liquidity crisis and will have to use much of the 700 B to bailout the big insider banks at the expense of the rest of the system.
Something has to be done to make this bailout fair to the regional and smaller banks.
Good thing England and the rest of Europe know how to fix a liquidity trap and were not afraid to move.
I like Bush. I still support him but his administration simply can't get the trains (or the banks)to run on time. At least there has not been another terror attack.
"We survived Carter and thrived after his departure. We'll survive the Daley-made puppet as well."
If you mean that most Americans didn't die during Carter you'd be right. However, the seeds of the housing/financial crisis started in 1977. What will I be paying thirty years from now as a consequence of an Obama administration?
Obama still to this day extolls the virtues of all of his "investments". McCain called for a freeze on most spending and a veto on all earmarks.
In the last debate, McCain said that future retirees must expect fewer benefits than current retirees. Straight talk. Obama made no mention of the specifics of entitlement reform. Why?
I tell you why. Because he's a coward. He won't push entitlement reform, even though the warning bells are even louder than those of Fannie Mae, because the same people who destroyed our economy are the same ones who refuse to touch that Third Rail: Democrats. There is no evidence that he'll stand against his fellow Democrats. As well, those who raped Fannie Mae get off scott-free to go live in their taxpayer-subsidized mansions.
Admittedly, we got Reagan as a result of Carter and a Dem Congress. And we got a GOP-led Congress of Clinton and a Dem Congress. But what did we get for it ultimately? The end of the Cold War, and the ability to drive faster than 55mph on the interstate.
Something to think about: less than five percent of the population has lived part of their lives with constructionist SCOTUS. 95 percent of us have never seen a constructionist majority on the SCOTUS. This election is bigger than John McCain, the GOP, and Barak Obama.
I was a registered Libertarian since 1988 until a few months ago. I registered Republican for the sole purpose of keeping McCain from being the GOP nominee. I went to the caucus here in CO to cast my vote for Romney. Romney was successful here in CO.
Now, for the first time in history, I've got GOP signs in my yard and stickers on my truck. Like I said in my comment to Beef, this election is about a heckofalot more than McCain, the GOP, Palin, and yes, even Trig.
I understand why some make a stand on principle, I've done it for 20 years. But what we're facing is the prospect that the POTUS and the Congress that we may end up with will make Carter and his Congress look like Goldwater and the John Birch Society in comparison.
Conservative principles may be ignored or derided by a McCain administration at times, but they are viewed as an evil to be abolished by socialists. With Obama as president, PC's principles won't be worth the paper the Constitution is written on. |
Who is following JSM? Try wrapping your consciousness around the polls who say about 50% of likely voters support JSM. Quite a few following him, an honest person would admit. |
presidency, let us all be racists on November 4, 2008. Long live racist America!!! |
racist. It will go along with you being a loser on 11/4. Sen. McCain is so desperate he is sending GOP supporters (contributors) fedx'd requests for money, along with PREPAID fedx return envelopes so they can send in emergency cash. I know this because my hubby just got one, seeing as we are GOP registered and have sent money in the past to Bush (who apparently sold off his contributor list, lol).
He's writing a letter to Sen. McCain explaining why we will not be voting GOP for anything this year. No GOP candidate will get our vote. He'll use the PREPAID fedx return envelope too, since Sen. McCain deserves to know why he is losing among those of us who are GOP for many issues, but who feel that the GOP, pandering to the fundy, ignorant base that Palin appeals to, has abandoned us, not the other way around.
May the GOP dump the dead weight of fundys and ignorant, admitted racists like you Eddie and Diane. When you see the final results, you will see how fewer people voted GOP this time, not just the 'surge' of new voters for Obama.
Republicans: Problem solvers.
Democrats: Problem makers.
Public affairs are full of troubles, tumult, and terrors. Who do you want at the helm of your boat on such a storm tossed sea? Do you want "Eye Candy for Women" Obama, or a seasoned skipper, like McCain.
List of recent problems solved under Republican leadership:
1. World terror headquarters in Afghanistan.
2. Sadaam Hussein's efforts to neutralize U.S. influence in the Middle East.
3. Sunni insurgency in Iraq.
4. Exploding gas prices (well, they go up and down don't they?)
5. World economic panic.
Who do we want at the helm continuing to maintain power as we turn our storm tossed ship of state into the towering waves? |
look at the mess Bush caused. McCain is feeble and old, and Palin has not a clue.
Romney would have been good. Guiliani. Huckabee. Anyone but feeble, old McCain. |
I just listened to an audio bite on HotAir provided by Libertarian Howard Stern, and it is quite shocking. He had someone interview random people on the streets, and by people, I mean blacks, and asked them about Obama's policies. The interviewer tricked the people by switching O's policies with McCains, and guess what? None of them had a problem with the policies. If you are so inclined: Youtube, HARLEM VOTERS. |
The fact you call yourself by a color seems to indicate it is an important factor to you. You foolish racist, some of us are more color blind than you. Next time you post, please try to say something that makes it worth the 2 seconds it takes to read your dribble.
For the more sensible bloggers, I also thought Romney was the best candidate in the primaries, but I am heartened by Sarah Palin. I don't swallow the liberal line that she is a fool. I think far from it. I think the MSM are terrified of her and are using this same tired old line used on Reagan, Thatcher etc etc. Sad that so many keep falling for it.
No enthusiasm for McCain. He doesn't want to beat up on the Democrats because he spent his career working with them. I just can't see him changing in the final debate. My view is he is more comfortable with Democrats than Republicans. He looks awkward and embarrassed in front of the crowd. Palin on the other hand is exciting.
John McCain IS a great American. No offense to anyone pro-Bush here, but I voted for McCain in 2000 in the primaries, and I truly believe this country would be better off now if McCain had been running it for the last 8 years.
Now it's time to give him that chance. |
an astute poll watcher, and as such, i am sure you are aware of this poll. NO candidate for POTUS has EVER won, without garnering a majority of the white male vote, EVER. As we speak, McCain/Palin lead in that demographic by 19%. The only 2 democrats, in the last 35 years to win, were Carter and Clinton, both southern dems, both won that demographic, and they both ran as conservatives. Incidentally, did you happen to catch my post on, "Conservatives are the majority" Yeah, that's right, 60% of the respondents, in the Battleground Poll, taken over the last six years, described themselves as Conservative, and only 29% described themselves as liberal. It's all right there in the non-partisan, Battleground Poll. Interesting, isn't it! But, you probably already knew that, right!! Oh, while I've got your attention, have you heard of the "Bradley effect", oh yeah, I'm sure you have, you, being so astute and all. Just one more thing, "Ebony and Ivory", if obambi is an absolute, lock to win, then why are the ACORN, thugs registering a single person, 72 times, registering the Dallas Cowboys to vote in NEVADA, the city of Houston has so far found 20,000 fraudulent voters, registered there, and ACORN is also, under investigation in 13 states. In fact it is believed that the fraud is so pervasive, that it is now believed that over 5 million people could be registered to vote, fraudulently, all by ACORN, thugs. Then, why o' why, is all the cheating taking place, "Ebony", why all the cheating if obambi is a drop dead, cinch to win. I'm all ears....oh, wait sorry for the "ear" reference. I know how sensitive you supporters are about, "ears". My apologies..... |

McCain should have had the 2000 election, and, now we really need him. He's a great American, an emotional (not arrogant) good person who will weigh out all aspects of every decision made for his country and it's people. When he says he knows how to get it done, you can believe him. The Jesse Jackson statements yesterday alarmed me. Jesse's daughter is a very good friend of Michelle O..(go back to their school days) and one of Jesse's son is right along side of Barrack. I think Jesse well knew what he said to be the gospel truth about Barrack's feeling towards Israel and his Muslim heritage and feelings towards that heritage, which can never be discounted. Yes, he is 1/2 caucasian, but his Mother and grandmother are deceased now. His wife is African/American and I am no racist...JC Watts is one of my favorite columnists, Michael Steele, another and I even like Juan William, Dem. There is something here and America, in my opinion, will not be safe with Barrack as President. Times are not good in many ways for this country and we need wisdom now above all, and John McCain is that person....I only hope America will give him the chance to prove this... |
