The World According To Harry & Nancy
Posted by: Jonathan Garthwaite at 9:21 PM
It's all John McCain's fault that the bailout is in trouble.

Message to the Dems:  If the bailout is so great, then why don't you pass it with your majorities in the House and Senate and President Bush will certainly sign it.

You don't need Republicans or conservatives to pass the bill.   You need them for political cover though -- don't you.

I guess that's the definition of "bipartisanship" -- Doing something stupid together so the voters can't blame anybody.

Dang- WHAT are the Dems gonna do...
...if the spineless RINO Republicans led by Bush don't CYA for'em???

Ole Barney Frank best start lookin' for private funds to bailout his rich Wall Street buddies. Taxpayers ain't gonna do it anymore.

McCain's fault, Bush's fault, sounds
like my 5 year-old. It also sounds like the same stupid drum the dems have been beating for years.

Grow up democrats and grow a pair... or borrow Hillary's. SNL

Did you
see the expressions on Nan and 'arry's faces?
They looked like they were constipated and needed some prune juice.

Gotta love it, McCain leads and Obama tells
them to phone.

Some Republicans are also too stupid to know that not only McCain, but the rest of the corrupt "leaders" of these two parties are hell bent on playing them and bringing down everybody's house of cards with this largest wealth transfer in world history to the ultimate advantage of the Wall Street plutocrats.

McCain is nothing more than a judas goat for the party firsters.

I called him first, then he called back.
I think there is an office for 'stupid ideas' in capital hill. This is just crazy. Why can't all the wall street fat cats get their buddies to 'help' out during tough times. I thought the rich were known for 'net working'. Is the glass ceiling crashing even before we elect palin? Either way, I'll take it. Keep the crazy Ivy League greedy ego driven 'investment bankers' away from tax payer's money. Obama can join in the science of blaming bush after he convinces us that he called mccain first and he was going to be where he is needed even if that means 'going on the campaign trail to trash Bush while Rome is burning'. Never mind, I thought whitey needed rescuing by Obama then I realized it's against his religion to help 'typical white people' who had it coming since ayers bombed institutions and al qaeda killed 3000 americans on 9/11. The 'chickens are coming home to roost' and Obama's mentor said it. Hollar back wall street, it's time to get getto fabulous with Obama Bin Biden.

700 billiom bail out
if we are going to bail anyone out it should be the american tax payers. lets take that 700 billion dollars and pay off the mortgages for every american citizen... one house, one mortgage...what a boon to the economy...all that money people are trying to pay back would then be pumped back into the economy...lets do the right thing...bailing out wall street is obscene, a mistake.. bail us out.. 700 billion dollars, this is incredible...no...we cannot and should not bail out those who could quite possibly bail themselves out...and caused the problem in the first place. i am a 66 year old widow living on a fixed income. I just recieved a letter from social security telling me they overpaid me in 04, however they underpaid me for every year since then and now want their money back.. this is so stupid... all of this is due to inefficiency and negligence by our government. it's the mentality of our government to want to spend 700 billion dollars to rescue the very ones who caused this mess and then demand back money from the elderly, the frail and those whose only income is social security.. i am incensed, not only about our government, but those who sit back and feel they cannot make a difference. we need to tell our government that no...we are not going to take it anymore...we have to be united. we have to make our voices heard...hollar, scream and do whatever will get the attention of those in washington who are willing to sell our country down the river..i beg you. make your voice heard

It's a Bush proposal
This bailout is being proposed by the Bush administration. And last time I checked it was Republican. So it would make sense that there be some Republican support on the bailout.

And McCain has not come out against the bailout. In fact, he is saying the economy will "crater" if we don't do something quickly. He even suspended his campaign in order to get something done!

The real sticking point for me is that his 5 principles do not include any help for homeowners facing foreclosure.

Not good.

20% of $700 Billion going to ACORN
I heard this mentioned by a Republican last night on FOX News "On the Record". The DEM's had this in there proposal..... What gives? Why are we giving our taxpayers money to this Progressive "Community Organizer" Group? They also got some of the money that we use to Bailout Fannie and Freddie. Just Google: "Bailout Acorn". We better start calling our Reps about this...........
HeavyJ writes: Friday, September, 26, 2008 5:18 AM
Remember Cindy, A Bush Proposal.......
......has nothing to do with being conservative.

I voted for the man twice. and he has been on my s#%^list since his second inaugural. I expected the type of backroom chicanery from Clinton. From Bush I felt indeed violated.

....Now if that b@stard Paulson, bended knee to Polosi in the white house meeting as reported here.

http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20080926/ap_on_bi_ge/financial_m eltdown

Then he should have been drug out by his little nuts and bi&ch slapped till he cries uncle Georgie!

I am supremely confident that these f&%#ups which ALLOWED this to happen. Both Partys, Don't have a clue on how to fix it. And thier arrogant standoffish veil of secrecy, should be setting off everyones Bullsh&t alarms

Dang- WHAT is the GOP gonna do
The GOP is nearly split down the middle...we're seeing GOP greed conflict with actually true blue real deal fiscal CONSERVATIVES who've been silently waiting on Bush to get out of office so that the economy can finally begun being repaired.

(Pop Culture Reference---- Doobies I think!)

Chad,.... I don't know where you come down on all this stuff.

But the only thing that could possibly be worse than A Bush Presidency (Entire 2nd term)and the abysmal pantywaist creamed corn leadership exhibited by a GOP congress when they controlled "both houses"........
......Would undoubtedly be a "Gore" or worse "Kerry" president.

Will a real leader with real conservative values please stand up.... I want to vote "for something" again, rather than against the pinkos!

Oh Yeah! And turn off the PTL club. Stop trying to legislate morality and forcing religious beliefs on others. Live instead, a life that reflects those values and you will make far more spiritual impact,

Remember Joe and Bo's patriotism remark? I think Joe and Bo should step up and do their patriotic duty and bail out Barney, Dodd, Schumer and the rest of the idiots who did this.

I'm impressed
You Stupid Party members are finally catching on to the Dem/libs' game. Like the Devil, the Dem/libs aren't smart enough to change tactics, they just rely on the Stupid Party members falling for the same tricks.

S.P. Member reaches across the aisle - and gets bit on the hand, kicked in the groin and stabbed in the back all at the same time. Then he says, "Thank you sir, may I have another."

Lead on, Maverick.
