I hate to disturb your fun, but do you have anything to back that up?
Prices for hogs and pork products have been collapsing over the past few days. There's no evidence whatsoever that you can get the flu from eating pork, but obviously a lot of people hear "swine flu" and stop buying bacon and ham. So the name change isn't to protect the feelings of the pigs, it's to protect the wallets of the farmers. And I don't see what the problem is with that. |
