 From First Read:
"She -- she truly is a rock star,” Chambliss said on FOX. “I mean, she came into town to help us electrify our base, make sure that these folks get fired up and turn out tomorrow, and she did exactly that.” From Politico:
Fresh off his runoff victory Tuesday night Georgia Republican Sen. Saxby Chambliss credited Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin with firing up his base.
“I can't overstate the impact she had down here,” Chambliss said during an interview Wednesday morning on Fox News.
“When she walks in a room, folks just explode,” he added. “And they really did pack the house everywhere we went. She's a dynamic lady, a great administrator, and I think she's got a great future in the Republican Party.”
Chambliss said that after watching her campaign on his behalf at several events Monday, he does not see her star status diminishing within the party.

Polls showed him with a 5 point lead and he ends up winning by 14 points after Palin campaigns with him. Palin has her first endorsement of 2012 in a key Super Tuesday state! |
|
I am unaware of any VP nominee, Republican or Democrat, who was on a losing ticket but was still identified by the base as a winner immediately following their loss.
If she can maximize her strengths and minimize her weaknesses, she will be formidable.
Obviously, the Left wants to label-and-define her into oblivion. But evidently she did not get the message. |

You are absolutely correct! Ever since 1988 when the liberals succeeded in character assignation on Dan Quayle they have tried and tried again to do the same to all Republican VP candidates. They failed and failed miserably with Sarah Palin! Immediately when she was chosen I heard members of the press call her the "next Dan Quayle," after hearing her at the RNC we got to enjoy something which we come across seldom: pure silence by liberals. They realized she was unique and a superstar. If I were running for office in 2010 she would be the first person I would call to campaign with me. |

Bring back the southern gentleman! Good manners , good breeding! Makes me want to move to Georgia on my mind ! Then we look at Frankin and weep ! It's sewer politics.. worse than gutter! There are no words! Harry Reid thinks the public stinks so it won't be a big deal to share the air space with Al. A vote is a vote ! Lovely Sarah.. northern lights shine the brightest !!

If Gov. Palin is such a drag on the Repub ticket, why do the Dems attack her so viciously? It would seem to me that when your opponent is commencing to hang themselves, give them more rope!
The fact that she does connect with average Americans is demonstrated by the crowd response to her appearances. And that is unacceptable to libs. |

I am confident that in 2010 we will a lot more Republican candidates thanking Sarah Palin. Many people will owe her one in 2012. Notice that Bobby Jindal is no where to be seen? |

had Sarah Palin campaign in support of him......
But his opponent, Obama puppet Jim Martin, had Ludacris "on his side"........
Now there's quality!!
How shallow and ludicrous........ |
