Obama's Ad Exaggerates Accomplishments

The new Obama ad makes several claims -- many of which are exaggerations...
... He claims he extended health care for wounded troops, but missed the vote on the Defense Authorization Act.
... He claims he passed laws moving people from welfare to work (which he did do), but has also publicly-stated he would not have supported Clinton's '96 welfare reform.
... The ad claims he cut taxes for "working families" and says he "created" the Illinois Earned Income Tax Credit. But he was not the lead sponsor of the bill (and in fact, the governor of Illinois credited a different Democratic member of Congress with its passage).

Geesus, does it ever stop with you? You don't care that he exaggerates his CV? Because I gotta tell you, you are usually the first one in line if some "RW" were to "slip" up on anything and call them a liar. Why doesn't this shoe fit you? And slip is in quotes like that because nothing Obama flip flops on is obvioulsy as important when McCain does it, right? Yesterday a hypocrit, today a hypocrit and so, tomorrow a hypocrit. |

how safe he made the streets of Chicago while he was a community organizer or State Senator? He's not talking about getting rid of the political corruption in Chicago politics. man, and those were such accomplishments too.....NOT. |

I realize that when issues get distracting for Obama and his wife, those issues do nothing to help their kids. All the same, you can't say he's not doing his level best to ensure that his daughters aren't "punished with a baby." Of course, before we get to that, they'll teach them "morals" with the help of the Jeremiah Wright church of hate, lies, and racism. |
