"Because that is how you come a permanent minority party--drive out anyone who in the least bit disagrees with you. "
Not true. We want to drive out those that don't agree with at least half of the conservative agenda. Put McShame at the top of the list. |

I've long suspected that Joe has some hidden reason for being pro-amnesty. He says he doesn't employ them, he says he doesn't have an illegal alien girlfriend.
Can't figure out why anyone would want to encourage the destruction of their own country.
Anyone who doesn't see it is blind. |

Illegal Koreans, Irish, Zimbabweans - they don't seem to be doing this, amigo:

see why we want them to be legal? Your rules are pretty much the rules the US has for them to ENTER in the first place.
And if you want the "working man" to have a job instead of paying for his welfare and unemployment, you might want to do something about your Mexican, Central, and South American buddies coming in as serfs.
|
|
You are wrong. 80% of the country does not support that all illegals have to leave. If that were the case, then undoubtably both parties would be embracing this issue and adopting your view of things.
As for those illegals in Georgia not assimilating (I assume they are Latin American immigrants since you called me amigo)--my so called "amnesty" is they pay a fine, pass a background check, have jobs, speak English, definitely not be felons or have serious misdemeanors, pay taxes, and not qualify for benefits until they go through the many year process of becoming American citizens.

he's called on, he decides to get rid of it. The man has no SPINE. |

More than 80% of Americans are explicitly against AMNESTY PERIOD. Why do you think no one wants to see it re-introduced in Congress? It is a hotter third rail than social security and gun control. It is impossible to be an honest nose holder. You are terrified that a properly labeled liberal Democrat will beat McCain, the guy who nothing but good things to say about the very people you are terrified of.
And after you're done checking out Georgia, come to LA and ask the LEGAL Mexicans and blacks what THEY think of illegal immigration. No one sees La Raza as speaking for them except the same liberal elites who declared that Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton speak for all black people in America. That is the crowd you are defending you putz. That is the crowd McCain panders to but he lets dopes like you do the lying for him. |
|
|
see if they are assimilating, amigo. You're so confident and smart, check out what is happening in France with their immigrants who don't assimilate. Speaking of Balkanization. Having no rules is stupid. |

to Clinton supporters it does not look as though THE ONE and his followers have gone out of their way to UNITE as promised. To this day his campaign has only come up with $500,000 to help pay her campaign debt. Then he makes no attempt to vet her for VP or at least give the impression that he is seriously considering her. Even if he doesn't pick her, she deserves the respect of being considered. She earned it! Seems like there are sore feelings on both sides! |
|
|
including my darling Joe S. continue to question what the Clinton's are thinking when it comes to the recent press story about the convention. What they don't understand is that the train has left the station a long time ago and this is a movement created and powered by Hillary's supporters, not Hillary. She's not the one demanding a roll call, its the voters, who by the way are not sore losers but Americans who are truly and deeply concerned about Barack Obama. They want to vote FOR someone, someone who they feel is qualified and capable of doing the job and that person in their view is Hillary. It's a simple as that. |
|
|
We either have the rule of law or we don't. I believe we should keep it. If you want to give a free pass to those who have broken the laws and those who have encouraged others to break the laws, then you don't. I will continue to fight for the rule of law. I will continue to oppose amnesty and all those who try to shove it down our throats (McCain/Kennedy being the prominent players). |
|
You are correct that the vast majority are against the crazy system we have now, which is horrible and has to end. The vast majority want illegals engaged in criminal behavior to be rounded up and either jailed or sent home. But when you ask them if all illegals need to go, no, there is not a majority concensus for that.
Hence the reason Tancredo (who based his whole campaign on that) was soundly defeated and treated as a pariah outcast by pretty much any decent persons. Even Duncan Hunter, who I greatly respect and like, went no where on the issue (and he ended up supporting Huckabee who is much more liberal on this issue than McCain). |
|
|
literally, after us Clinton supporters bombarded them with angry emails. Really, who do they think they are? Their arrogance knows no bounds. Next, they'll be praying that McCain and the Republicans all come to their senses and bow down to the Messiah. They are completely delusional. |
|
The vast majority of Americans are against amnesty. You must be as hard of hearing as McCain. Deaf as a post.
Had he really heard us instead of lying about it, and come out strongly for enforcement, workplace and at the border, he'd be up by 20 points. |

Not like the brazen giant of Greek fame,
With conquering limbs astride from land to land;
Here at our sea-washed, sunset gates shall stand
A mighty woman with a torch, whose flame
Is the imprisoned lightning, and her name
Mother of Exiles. From her beacon-hand
Glows world-wide welcome; her mild eyes command
The air-bridged harbor that twin cities frame.
"Keep ancient lands, your storied pomp!" cries she
With silent lips. "Give me your tired, your poor,
Your huddled masses yearning to breathe free,
The wretched refuse of your teeming shore.
Send these, the homeless, tempest-tost to me,
I lift my lamp beside the golden door!"
I would add so long as they intend to assimilate, become citizens, and obviously not act in a criminal way--they are welcomed. I am not for unlimited immigration (the way defacto amnesty works now) and we can place sane restrictions on it (I would favor South Americans and Asians over...say....Pakistanis). I would make it easier for engineers and scientists to come here because their contribution benefits us all. I would end citizenship by merely being born here and I would end unlimited family visas.

If you succeed in passing amnesty, you will have surrendered to the demands of foreign nationals illegally in our country and their employers who have paid off our politicians to allow them to import cheap labor. Expect a tidal wave of many more uneducated poor to come running when you put out the welcome mat. No laws need apply! |
|
Because that is how you come a permanent minority party--drive out anyone who in the least bit disagrees with you.
Virginia Patriot and Pasadena Phil are guests at the party who balk because beans are being served. No beans! I will walk if you serve beans. Then they threaten to hold the party hostage or walk if beans are ever served again. |

A conservative candidate instead of the Trojan Horse Democrat. |

Well, Hillary's not finished there, Barack ol' buddy. |

Patronizing and unwelcomed, especially if it was one of those paternalistic religions.
Maybe it was some Wicca prayer. That would be okay. |
