McCain Hurt By His Attacks?

A new poll seems to show that McCain has been hurt by his "attacks". The lesson to take from this is not that attacks don't work, but rather, that McCain has either 1). not found the correct attack, or 2). has not effectively communicated his message. Make no mistake, unless McCain makes this race about Obama, he loses...

I have to agree with VP
McCain has a problem in this campaign with "enemy identification". The reason the attack isn't working is one minute he's attacking Obama on Ayers/Fannie&Freddie and the next he's saying Obama is a honorable man who'd make a great president. John Kerry killed his campaign quickly with, "I voted for it before I voted against it." McCain is doing the same thing only he's dragging it out slow and painfully.

John McCain doesn't want to do what is necessary to win. He likes the Democrats more than the people he needs to vote for him. Many tried to warn the GOP not to nominate a Democrat for the GOP ticket. GOP-RIP

Wrong attack
Ayers is a problem but his interactions with Obama are trivial when compared to 20 years of Rev Wright. I think the McCain campaign avoids pounding Wright for fear of the racial issue. Yet when you consider Wright and the writings of Michelle Obama, etc.... it is quite clear that an Obama administration will have a clear racial agenda. Even more glaring is the lack of attention paid to Obama's financial support by FNMA and Freddie Mac. The very agencies at the headwaters of our crisis anchored their continuing future in Barack Obama and that cannot be overstated or stated too frequently. Obama is winning on this economic disaster when his party is largely at fault for it and he himself was slated to perpetuate the same failed policies.
