The New York Times Isn't Alone
Posted by: Carol Platt Liebau at 10:01 PM
The day after Steve Schmidt called out The New York Times for being 150% "in the tank" for Barack Obama, two reminders come from Newsbusters that The New York Times may not be alone.

First, a woman quoted in a Sarasota paper as refusing to vote for Barack because he's black denies having said any such thing -- and the reporter concedes that he never talked to the woman personally.

What's more, the AP reporter responsible for a piece criticizing Governor Palin for excluding journalists from her meetings with foreign leaders (but conveniently overlooking the fact that Barack did the same thing) has herself been a supporter of left wing 527 organization America Coming Together.

Anyone who expects balanced coverage from the MSM -- any criticism of Obama, any praise of Palin -- is smoking something . . . and it's not cigarettes.

Dems responsible for Fannie & Freddie

Why is the New York Times not reporting this?
Kenny Z writes: Tuesday, September, 23, 2008 11:05 PM
MSM
Journalists have evolved into propagandists for the far-left Democrat party. Newspapers have evolved into the public censors of information for the far-left Democrat party. Most of the television networks have evolved into misinformation producers for the far-left Democrat party. Together they represent control of the news and spreaders of falsehoods for the Democrat party. They not only vigorously support the Democrat party but have decided to use their ever dwindling influence to get one party elected over another. Objective reporting is out the window. They control the news people see and hear. Meanwhile the Democrat party is on a quest to silence any media that does not rail for their far-left philosophies.

Waaaa, the MSM is being so unfair!
Gosh darn it! Don't they know that the Democrats screwed up the economy? Why don't they report that? Don't they know there WERE WMD's in Iraq! Don't they realize that that global warming is giant hoax? Why don't they report that? Also, they never report on the fact that evolution is a liberal conspiracy! I am SO MAD that they don't report "reality" as I wish it to be!!!!!! Well, then, I'll just go set up my own newspaper, put all the stuff I BELIEVE in there. Maybe homeschool my kids. So there!

The New York Times is Passe'
Everybody knows the Times is in the tank for Obama so why worry about it? It's just liberals preaching to the choir while conservatives have a lock on talk-radio which reaches more people than the Times does.
Andrea writes: Wednesday, September, 24, 2008 12:42 AM
Come on people
If there were WMD's found in Iraq the president would have held a press conference and said so. The President would not have taken the heat for an ill conceived war. That type of thinking is why this country is in the trouble that were in right now. No matter how you support the republican party you have to recognize that Bush's legacy will be one of extreme incompetence. Iraq no weapons of mass destruction. Katrina an no response. Bail outs a time of great econmic down turns. Gas prices the Bush Cheney's political indebtness to big oil. Balanced budget Bush inherited a balanced budget and in just eight years the country is left with a 13 trillion dollar deficit and that is before the fredie mac and fannie mae bail out. A military that has been weakened by over/misuse of their assets. And people think that Carter was a poor excuse for a president!
kgurian writes: Wednesday, September, 24, 2008 1:38 AM
Andrea
That's because Carter was a terrible president and an even worse ex-president. If it wasn't for his ineptness there would not have been an islamic revolution in Iran and the world wuld not be in the shape it is in now. Not to mention double digit inflation and double digit interest rates.

You do know that there is a difference between the budget deficit and the national debt don't you.

IMPEACH SENATOR OBAMA
Hi,

I wanted to draw your attention to this important petition that I recently signed:

"Impeach Senator Barack Obama"
http://www.ipetitions.com/petition/obamaimpeachment?e ...

I really think this is an important cause, and I'd like to encourage you to add your signature, too. It's free and takes less than a minute of your time.

Thanks!

NYT article in Sept. 2003, clears Bush
The New York Times article 'New Agency Proposed to Oversee Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae, pulished on Sept. 11, 2003 says it all.

The uptake is Democrats turned homeownership into a civil rights issue where poor people were given mortgages that they could not pay for.

Lender's assumed, and rightfully so, that the mortgages were guranteed by the government.

Not mentioned in the article is every Democrat voted against the oversight bill sponsored by Sen. Chuck Hagel, but now they want to lay the blame at Bush's feet. No way...no how...no Obama

They'll never answer your question. Notice how they seized on Carter.

Someone please answer clearly the following:

Why should we give the Repubs 4 more years? Why?

Please don't seize on this comment but Palin is so old news. She and the Repubs have exposed themselves. She is a clueless person. Good enough to be a hockey mom and even a Governor. But not enough to lead the nation, There will be moments in life when a well scripted person has to divert from the script and then what. Obviously her handlers dont think she up to snuff otherwise they would not be shileding her like this. If shes so great show us. Dont hide.

But enough about Sarah, Why 4 more?
maria writes: Wednesday, September, 24, 2008 10:05 AM
look closely
since some are asking why 4 more years, I would submit to you to please take a close look at history and the present facts. This will require a bit of research on your own.

Please take a look at the rise of a few leaders not so far away...Castro & Chavez. Please look at how their countries were as they began their rise to power and the promises made to the people. Please look at the fact that many of the things that they placed on their platforms are very similar to those being discussed today. It is an eye opener to see the similarities with very few differences. LOOK how these countries are RIGHT NOW.

Can America really take a chance? As in the other two countries...4 years would be enough to get us underway. I have yet to find any Cubans or Venezuelan that are happy with what has become of their country, and are willing to return.

America has always been the home of the FREE and the BRAVE. There are many countries that are not so free. Let's keep America FREE and those that feel that we need to change to be more like the rest of the World...please fell free to travel!

Such broken Logic. What the freak are you uttering. Our country will remain free. Did you just get out of GitMo. And spare me with the tease lines about it will require research. No research is required to see the state we are in OPEN YOUR DAM EYES. This is the 2nd worse shape this country has been since the great depression. The Great Depression.

Answer Why 4 more thats all?
maria writes: Wednesday, September, 24, 2008 10:45 AM
not again!
It is Maria (Spanish) not Marie (English form), and no I did not just get out of GitMo...but my Great Grandfather was able to escape his homeland to enjoy freedom in the US. He has shared many stories of life before Castro and we can all see what life with Castro is like. AGAIN...look at what Cuba was going through prior to the great rise of CASTRO! In some places some were enjoying free flow of cash will others were struggling. NOW everyone is struggling.

To answer the question....why should we give dems any more years? The sub-prime debacle can be traced directly to them. Dem have been in control of contress for 16 of the last 20 years. Social spending is at an all time high. Can we afford more of them? Nope. Can we afford Obama who is clueless and has Muslim sympathies (he says so in his book)? Nope. I may not be happy with the GOP but they are a sight better than the socialists and outright Marxists on the left.
