He's clearly a winner tonight, and his camp sends this out:
The Rudy Giuliani Presidential Committee released the following statement tonight from Senior Advisor Tony Carbonetti: “We congratulate Mitt Romney for wining his home state of Michigan. It’s clear after tonight that while the race remains fluid and competitive, our strategy remains on track. Rudy is going to continue to campaign aggressively in Florida and after the energy we’ve seen on the trail this past week, we’re confident that we’ll be successful on the 29th.”

We the People of the United States of America have the right to have our borders and our laws respected and enforced. If we wish to keep our representative Republic, and our rule of law, we must elect a President who WILL secure the borders and enforce the laws. The actions of the next President will determine the fate of this great nation. If citizenship becomes meaningless, this will no longer be the United States of America.
The primary responsibility of the U.S. government is to protect the territorial integrity and people of this country. They have completely abdicated this responsibility. Both parties have been complicit in this. We are being told it is not possible to control our borders, enforce our laws, and thereby control our destiny as a nation. Hogwash. We are being sold out by corporations intent on importing workers for jobs that can't be exported with the taxpayers paying the true costs, financial and human. If we act like sheep and don't stop the inundation across our borders, we will lose our country without a bleat. |

Hillary is still singing the "Comprehensive Immigration Reform" tune (all the Dems, really), not realizing it is her swan song.
The only issue I have ever seen 75-80% of Americans agree on is stopping illegal aliens. Any GOP candidate that is credible (not Rudy, McCain, or Huckabee) on this issue could win in a landslide.
The biggest problem is the RNC has sold it's soul to the cheap labor express. They are determined to nominate an amnesty candidate, even if it means losing the election. Stupid Party, indeed.

Rudy won't be alive until he learns to walk on his own two feet again.
This is the time for him to double down and work harder. In his situation it is very premature to start celebrating anything. |

We shall see...
Something suggests, Mr. Romney has been tested in battle and continues to impress.
I find the Rudy strategy interesting...
His failure to compete in early primaries is not the reason he is sinking in the polls, as he continues to offer lackluster debate performances, mostly because he offers a mundane repetition on stage regarding various issues.
The real winner was Romney, and his victory is impressive.
We shall see... |

His numbers are tanking everywhere, most importantly in FL and CA and he was just beaten by Ron Paul in MI. How is this a good thing? Did I mention that his fund raising is at a standstill? Yeah, a real juggernaut. Better get out of the way before we get run over. I want to hear his "it's not amnesty" explanation again. That should get him started. |

I bet Paul beats Rudy in South Carolina too. It is a little sad that the only ones Ron can beat are fred and Rudy, but at least he ain't broke like Huck and Johnny! |

Like many other people, I find Rudy Giuliani's strategy very risky. If he somehow manages to pull it off and win Florida, I'll give the man credit and his opponents should be boiling with anger.
Right now Rudy is sinking in the polls while McCain, Romney and Huckabee have momentum. If they let Rudy steal Florida that would be devastating to their campaigns. The message Rudy is sending to his opponents is; you guys beat each other up for those tiny rations, I have a full course meal waiting for me in Florida.
If I'm McCain, Romney or Huckabee, I would use his own strategy to sink him by letting Floridians know that he is trying to take a shortcut to the nomination and that Florida is no stepping stone. |
