What's Hamas Most Lethal Weaponry?
Posted by: Hugh Hewitt at 10:56 PM
Israel's apparent intention to pursue the complete toppling of Hamas presents the terrorist group with every incentive to use whatever it has in its arsenal against Israel.

So, what does that arsenal contain?  The concern has been that Gaza would be turned intoi a vast WMD complex, but I have never seen any reporting that the terrorists had been able to achieve any sort of manufacturing capability.  Reuel Marc Gerecht's Weekly Standard article from earlier this month is important background on the general subject of the Islamists' technical gap, but as the battle in Gaza escalates, so too will be the temptation for Hamas to use whatever it has in its storerooms.

Please send any pointers on the subject to hugh@hughhewitt.com

UPDATE:

ThreatsWatch's Steve Schippert, who also writes for NRO's The Tank, sends along this disconcerting link.

Jim e-mails this background on the Hamas arsenal.

Time to Criple Hamas
Palestinians live like animals because they choose to live that way. Never have a people been more self destructive, more wrong, and made consistently the wrong decisions as the Palestinians. Hamas is just the latest madness from a completely corrupt and failed Palestinian leadership. From the corrupt mafia of the PLO to the religious extremism and myopia of Hamas. Sixty years of failed policies and the Palestinians still have this pipe dream of driving the Jews into the sea.

Sane Palestinians have to be quiet or leave. Most have left. Either to Canada, Australia, or Jordan. The lunatics remain.

They deserve this because they bring it on themselves. If they would just try to live in peace with Israel, the Israelis would embrace it.

This military engagement will not change Hamas or the Palestinians, but it is a chance for the IDF to knock them on thier butts for a while.

Suffer the little children ??
And they take it seriously!
The pretty young " duel " citizen, leaving the Gaza, forgot to lie. " Bombs in all the houses "
" No place to hide " No wailing about innocent woman and children as targets. She will be stoned ( hit with rocks ) if she goes back to that vile country. Reality check !!
