Bill Clinton Defies Obama
Posted by: Amanda Carpenter at 9:37 PM
I thought Bill Clinton's speech tonight was supposed to be about national security.

I'm guessing Bubba didn't want any of the analysts wondering why he didn't do more to catch Osama Bin Laden (remember the Chris Wallace interview) and focused on the economy instead.

This 4 more years is NOT working.
McCain is his own man, and the American people know that, so this Bull Sh-t about 4 more years, come on, if you want to go there, lets go there, because Obama is a Carter like candidate, if we start talking about Obamas views, that are the SAME as Carters views, so if you want another Carter, Obama is your man, just look back at all the wonderful things Carter did...lol
Carter was the worst President we ever had, and Obama will give a Carter like performance.

Giselle, wrong again.
McCain is beginning to pull away from Obambi.
I'm sitting next to my beautiful wife as I have fun irritating liberal losers.
Frankly, I am as likable as it comes.
It's a great night.
Enjoy the bitter pill. Take 2 and call someone who cares.

The bombing of the USS Cole
occured at the end of Clinton's term but the first attack on the World Trade Center occured at the beginning of Clinton's tenor...of course, the other attacks during his presidency were just filler, Giselle.
drokmed writes: Thursday, August, 28, 2008 12:21 AM
Giselle that was weak
The terrorists have been attacking US interests for DECADES.

They attacked several times on Clintons watch. Remember the bombing of the USS Cole? In response, Clinton lobbed a couple tomahawk missiles into the Afghanistan desert. He hit nothing, and did nothing else. What a wimp.

The 9/11 commission concluded that the 9/11 attack had been planned for years, on Clintons watch. They learned how to fly our planes here in the US, on Clintons watch. They attacked shortly after Bush took office.

You need better talking points.

You must be as ugly as you are stupid, because that is the only explanation why you are in your dormroom tonight.

The only "pants down" Americans remember is the POTUS that was impeached.

Pat Buchanan on MSNBC is great
He is going off on Obama and Biden. He says Rush Limbaugh is tougher on McCain than they are. He says the Obama team is weak, has failed to define McCain, has failed to show CLEARLY how they will be better, and on and on. LOL he was getting booed by the democrats behind him. I should've recorded it.

Sarah, I agree completely. I can see it too, and I was born and raised here. Obama is not in touch with Americans. His blowing smoke of promises of hope and change doesn't cut it. The Ayers link will get bigger and bigger. There will be many more ads. Remember Obama's gaff on people "clinging to guns and religion"? That one will come back too. McCain's team is doing a fantastic job at defining Obama to America, and Obama is failing to deflect it.

Obama is officially on the defensive, and will stay that way until election day. That was the plan all along.

GopT, I agree Saddleback scared the crap out of dems, and so did Obama's debates with Hillary. Obama sucks in a debate. McCain did hundreds of town hall debate formats, to prepare for this. McCain is going to own Obama in the debates. And if Romney is the VP pick, well, Romney is a BRUTAL debater. Romney will destroy Obama and Slow Joe Biden very easily. We'll see some great interviews with Romney, that will get a lot of press. McCain will take the leash off of Romney, and say "sic 'em!"

Good News From Hollywood
News from the Hollywood McCain fundraiser (this will make you laugh):

Moments later, Robert Duvall and James Caan walk slowly past the front desk, their younger wives following two paces behind. The two Hollywood veterans--who starred together in The Godfather--are laughing heartily as they passed. I interrupt them to ask what they thought about McCain. Caan is surprised that McCain was so funny, Duvall is not.

Duvall, who just finished doing the voiceovers for the McCain videos that will be show next week at the Republican National Convention, points to McCain's national security experience. "He's an American hero. He's got character. He's been around." Duvall pauses. "The other guy? I just don't know."...

Duvall then picks up our conversation from where we left it before the interruption. He is incensed by comments Gore Vidal made about McCain back in June. Vidal had questioned McCain's heroism. "Who started this rumor that he was a war hero? Where does that come from, aside from himself? About his suffering in the prison war camp?"

Duvall doesn't think much of Vidal, whom he called "an American icon-slash-dilettante." It's not only John McCain who could kick Vidal's a$$.

"His 96 year-old mother could beat the crap out of Gore Vidal with her shoe," Duvall says. "And you can quote me on that."

Please dont use the words "Clinton" and "pants down" in the same post.

It makes me nauseous thinking about Clinton getting oral pleasure from the fat girl. I have a tough time smoking cigars to this day.

Stupid Liberals...
Bin Laden attacked American embassies in Africa during the late 1990s.

Islamic terrorists bombed the Trade Center in 1993.

The very terrorists who did bring down the Trade Center towers were in the United States, attending flight school, before Bush took office.

Who was president between those years?

Pelosi ignores the Clinton votes.
Nancy Pelosi presented the vote to suspend roll call and make Barack the nominee. She asked all in favor say yes, and there was a huge YES from the delegation. Did anyone else catch how fast she went from asking for the "no's" to calling it a unanimous decision? She waited about 0.5 seconds for the "no's". It was the worst cover up of party dissention I have ever seen. Hilarious!!! They are trying so hard to unite. yeah, best of luck on that one.
GopTiger writes: Wednesday, August, 27, 2008 11:49 PM
Drom
I watched just about every Democratic debate. I don't recall ONE in which I thought to myself "dang, that Obama is going to be one tough customer in a debate with McCain". The last debate between Hillary and Barry was particularly pitiful.

Like you, I think McCain is going to "win" the debates. Obama cannot help himself; he simply cannot answer a question in a clear, succient manner. Democrats like to think they are 'of' the people-but they have a hard time talking to them.

Saddleback was the pilot. When the real debate season airs, Obama is going to flop. At that point, McCain is going to move ahead by 4-6 points and stay there until election day.

drokmed, change of clothes not heart
Obama is still the hate filled racist man mentored by Wright and courted by Ayers to accomplish what Ayers could not accomplish as a terrorist. The man can wear a lapelle pin but his loathing for this country and it's values is evident in his speeches and autobiography. I am an immigrant, and it takes a foreigner to know one and OBAMA IS A FOREIGNER BORN IN AMERICA. Americans will catch on as the polls are beginning to show and they will reject him and vote McCain.
drokmed writes: Wednesday, August, 27, 2008 11:39 PM
Both CNN and MSNBC reps
are hitting Biden on those very points. Biden criticized McCain on being wrong on issues where Biden either voted the same way as McCain, or worse, on some issues, voted on what turned out later to be the wrong side.

GopTiger writes: Wednesday, August, 27, 2008 11:26 PM
Let me get this straight....
Biden VOTED for the Iraq War resolution. So did McCain. So why is Biden slamming McCain for voting like he did?

Have the hair plugs begun to interfere with Biden's thinking?

Prediction- The Obama speech will UNDERWHELM tomorrow night. The delegates will love it (they would applaud him burping for 30 minutes) but the mushy independents won't be sold.

drokmed writes: Wednesday, August, 27, 2008 11:18 PM
that still won't be enough for Obama
I wouldn't be surprised if the liberal media gives Obama all of the questions in advance. McCain will be ready for this, and his rebuttals on Obama will be very tough. I still think McCain will be more commanding in the debates. His vast knowledge and experience will shine through. He'll ask Obama specifics, which Obama will have to pander his answers. McCain will be ready for the pandering, and keep hitting him on specifics, which Obama severely lacks.

Ana Mus writes: Wednesday, August, 27, 2008 11:08 PM
the problem with the debates drokmed
is that they will be hosted by media personnel who are already in the tank for Obama and we already KNOW Obama will be given the questions in advance in order for him to study so he can appear to have some type of cohesive answers. The debates will be scripted for Obama and will be a farce just like the roll call vote at the convention was.
serah writes: Wednesday, August, 27, 2008 11:06 PM
Ana
I think Barak will begin the same mantra that has not worked i.e. McCain is Bush. I think when they decided to use Karl Rove's strategy they forgot Bush used Clinton Gore because Gore was actually VP to Clinton. Also, Bush had executive experience as governor of TX. Barack's ship is sinking and speeches won't give him much of a bounce back........because he really lacks any credentials for POTUS. And people already know he can read a teleprompter...so the 'crash' is over. Voters want a man with something substantial and he does not have anything substantial other than McCain is Bush and i am .....smart enough to pick a vp with the credentials I don;t have so please pick me ......WHY VOTE FOR A VP WHEN YOU CAN VOTE FOR A PRESIDENT?
drokmed writes: Wednesday, August, 27, 2008 11:01 PM
Obama wearing a flag pin
Change of heart again?

Even reading from the teleprompters, he still gaffed. I can't wait to see him in the debates... no teleprompters there.
Ana Mus writes: Wednesday, August, 27, 2008 11:00 PM
Obama takes the stage and does NOT
get near the applause EITHER of the Clinton's got. When he mentioned Hillary and then Bill, they still commanded more applause than Obama.

Lame arguments. He won't get any good reviews in the press, except maybe from the far left loons like Chris Matthews and the likes at MSNBC.

It's laughable that you are asking us to BELIEVE what Clinton says - because it's about Obama. Obama has topped out, no more voters will be shifting on his side. Guess what...after three days of discussing Obama's family (because he does not have any achievements or accomplishments to discuss)his lead has disappeared into a dead heat with McCain. mmmmmmm where is the momentum shifting?
Ana Mus writes: Wednesday, August, 27, 2008 10:47 PM
we'll have to wait and see how much of
Bill Clinton's speech and Hillary's speech Obama puts into his speech tomorrow night. Obama has been studying the acceptance speeches of Clinton, Reagan and JFK so will we see more plagerism from him or will he adjust the words just enough to make people think HE came up with them?

Obama, the poser, the loser.

Bubba
National Security Creds! -- Thank goodness for Bill Clinton -- He and Hillary rescued the Democratic Convention on its third day of excruciating tedium and anathema -- Gotta give them that! -- Bubba did what he had to do -- Hope Bill and Hill cashed the check from O before they gave their ringing endorsements to the One -- Bubba spoke of the accomplishments and dreams of the Democratic Party and of the evil, up-to-no-good-for-Americans-and-against-the-welfare-state-Republicans while reminding us that he was once also thought of as being too young and inexperienced to lead the nation -- Never mind his focus during his tenure was not on national security but elsewhere at the time -- Bill Clinton disgraced the Presidency and the Oval Office -- But he continues to receive a pass -- Barack Obama is not qualified to be POTUS -- He can bring out all the heavy hitters such as Joe Biden, Teddy Kennedy and others to speak for his leadership and "potential" -- The undeniable truth is BARACK OBAMA AIN`T GOT THE CHOPS -- Go, Johnny, Go! -- McCain 2008! --
