Obama Pulls Out of North Dakota

There goes the 50 state strategy . . . the Obama campaign is pulling campaign workers out of North Dakota, and sending them to Minnesota and Wisconsin, instead.

That's really no surprise, given the sizable margin John McCain has there, but it comes with the recognition that Barack doesn't have the financial edge perhaps he expected; both sides have about the same amount of money to spend.   Barack recently pulled out of Georgia, as well (Alaska, too, for obvious reasons).

For Obama, that's three states down, 54 to go . . .

Even so, it's not as though North Dakota is a hard-red state, or anything.  Both senators (Dorgan and Conrad) are Democrats.

Including the great depression the stock market has averaged an 8% return, better than any other investment. And McCain wants people to have the CHOICE to invest their social security in the stock market if they choose! One little bit of irony, most senators have their retirement invested in the stock market!

You would be a complete fool not to invest for social security in the stock market. McCain's plan is actually not going far enough. He wants people to be allowed to invest only a small percent of their social security in the stock market rather than the entire amount.

Furthermore Social Security privitization was voluntary not mandatory. Privitization would allow individuals to invest in five government guaranteed stocks and bonds where your money would grow over time.
