Chavez Wigs; Calls Bush Devil at U.N.
Posted by: Mary Katharine Ham at 12:12 PM

They're Non-Aligned and they know how to party!

Chavez follows Ahmadinejad at the U.N. with a real stem-winder. Video at Allah's.

Update: You have to watch the video. It's insane. He must say it three times, and there are humorous hand motions accompanying. That Hugo. He's such a card.

More at Stop the ACLU.

Update: "I don't know what's more disturbing: Chavez's speech or the U.N.'s reaction."

Michelle was doing a bit of live-blogging.

I have to say that this is most disturbing to me. Chavez and Ahmenthejihad have come here and p1ssed on our boot. He was acting like some sort of comedian. Hugo is a whack job, but he is making buddies and forming a club with N. Korea, Cuba, and Iran. The reaction at the UN indicates he has made a few more pals of the Non-aligned type.

But for Ahmenthejihad to talk about love for all 6+Billion people, democracy, justice, peace, the UN's authority, etc. is an outrage. He must have been to the Clinton School of BS. Chavez has come and spit on our president. I'm furious actually, and I blame this one on the Democrats. Their disrespect towards the office of the President has enabled, encouraged, and emboldened these dictators to come here and speak of us in that manner.

Is there a real argument for the United States to abandon its membership in the UN or is it really impractical? I haven't thought through it yet, but my kneejerk reaction is to bail. We give a ridiculous amount of money to the UN, we bail them out all the time, it is crooked (aka Oil for Food, Rapist Peacekeepers, etc.), and frankly, I think it is a waste of time.

Sorry for the rant, but I can't stand those fellows coming here with that crap. We need to get serious and stand strong.

Between Arm-a-ninny form Iran and Chavez and the "reaction"... I would have to say the UN looks and sounds more like a psycho ward! And the main stream dhimmi's are concerned we are not popular with that group... for all the talks of the Pope needing a PR person not one has an iota of complaint. What's new.
