EgObamania Rears Its Ugly Head

Some time ago, it seemed clear from emerging trends in press coverage that the meme of EgObamania presented a potential threat to Barack's campaign, as I noted here, back in March, and also here, more recently.

Well, Dana Milbank has picked up the theme -- in a column titled "President Obama Continues Hectic Victory Tour" -- and run with it like an Olympic track star. What's truly remarkable is how quickly the press can turn on a candidate that it has lionized.

Perhaps the reason for the increasingly hostile coverage lies in a sentence at the end of a paragraph deep in Milbanks piece: "[T]here are signs that the Obama campaign's arrogance has begun to anger reporters."

What kind of ineptitude does it take to turn a press contingent once panting with adoration into a vicious pack of attack dogs? Could it be one more sign that the Obama campaign isn't quite ready for prime time?

I'm shocked that anyone could possibly think that the O man is in over his head. Shocked I tell you ... HE IS THE ONE !!!!! The earth will cool (even faster than it already is), the oceans will recede (even faster than they already are), Cookies will fall from heaven (non fattening ones) ... He is soooooooo cooool ....

We can only hope some of those
panting and fawning media personnel who try to pass themselves off as "journalists" will now do the job a lot of us have been doing on the net - vet Obama. If you read The Real Barack Obama (formerly Rezko Watch) website, as well as Gateway Pundit you will see how much about Obama as well as his associates those sites have accumulated. Even Obama's claim that his kids went to school with Ayers kids is exposed as the fraud it is. Ayers and Dohrn have adult children, so there is no way Obama's kids go to school with them. Well, unless Ayers' kids were held back for a long, long time (snicker)
