Obama to Text VP Pick Friday Night

CBS is reporting the Obama campaign will blast out his VP pick via text message Friday night and hold an event with his choice Saturday morning in Springfield, Illinois.

An Obama Aministration will be an unmitigated disaster for this republic. This guy is a socialist who will undoubtedly make excellent use of the foundations lain by the New Deal, Great Society, and Clintonian welfare/nanny-state programs to ensure that our big government will get even bigger and more intrusive. He'll get a rubber stamp from Pelosi and Reid and all the other minions on the Hill. He is dangerous. |

ATTN: Salvadore, took the words out of my mouth! Yes, Clinton the strongest, solid candidate was ambushed. Many reasons favored the misguided Rookie. Mainly, the flawed Dem., system, their unreliable Caucas and unfair rules! It didn't help when Bill Richardson and Edwards endorsed the unqualified Obama for selfish ambitions. No doubt they were bribed! A change? Not at all its politics as usual with a smoke and mirrors spin!

Instead of the American peoples choice,
which was Clinton,

vote for Hillary at the convention so he is admitting he hasn't really "secured" the nomination from the Democrats, yet he is going to announce a VP pick prior to the roll call. hmmm, once again sounds pretty presumptuous.
Sounds like Michelle is wearing the pants when it comes to WHO is going to be selected. I would suspect the only one Michelle will be happy and content with on the ticket will be herself.
Used to be Obama claimed he went to Jeremiah Wright before making "tough" decisions. Now Obama claims it is his grandmother he consults with. Can you imagine what the media would be saying if McCain claimed he consulted his mother before making tough decisions? |

He wouldn't make the announcement on a Friday night and miss the news cycle. I still say it will be Thursday afternoon, plenty of time to make the evening news. |
