Wow! CNN's Sanchez Calls Out PC Colleagues' Being Upset At Hotel Owner

Bravo to Rick Sanchez for taking it to Kyra "White Guilt" Phillips and her feminist sidekick Jane "Rolling Eyes" Velez-Mitchell. There's not much for these two do-gooders to poo-poo after a hefty dose of reality and common sense hits them across the noggin in front of a national television audience. H/T: Matthew Balan.

If the switch board employees had a problem with the policy of the private business owner who wants to please his english-only clientelle, then they should find another job. Has anyone ever called their credit card company and a person with a STRONG indian accent answered and said 'hi this is John Smith' and that was the only part of the conversation the customer understood. True story - I am well travelled and understand many accents/languages but one time my credit card processed a balance transfer without my authorization because the 'english' person did not understand me when I said not to do that in ENGLISH. A private business owner wants to serve all potential clients to their satisfaction - the first person who answers the phone gives the potential client a reason to either continue with a booking or call another hotel. The hotel industry is bruttal and any small competitive advantage including changing names temporarily makes sense.

Yes.....the viewers....
....are staying away in droves, and Fox has twice the ratings even though it's only in half the homes. How the mighty have fallen. Never fear, though....I hear Ted Turner is itching to get back into the news business.

is welcome to his opinion, by all means. But that is HIS choice - I'm sure that if he were told to Americanize his name, as those folks who landed on Ellis Island were forced to, he'd have a different POV. This IS 2009, asshats.

I like to pronounce each person's name with the accent that they'd have in their own country. McGillicuddy, Adawale, Bob Marley, Kryzweksi, Roosevelt etc. It's time consuming and embarrassing for all!

It seems like all news watchers aren't to enthused with CNN because it's ratings have dropped off 68% to last place in all time slots.Wonder if Obama's feeling the flames.
