Obama
brought this on himself. Admitting that he never vetted Hillary or explaining why was a bad move. More than an insult to Hillary it was a snub of the 18 million who voted for her.
Ana Mus writes: Monday, August, 25, 2008 7:58 PM
the Obama camp is doing nothing more
than trying to spin this so people will possibly watch the speeches on TV. As well, the Obama camp needs to have someone in the wings who they can blame for Obama not winning because we know Obama's ego will not allow him to realize it is because the American people don't WANT him as POTUS as he nor his wife represent the real core values of Americans.

You'd be hard pressed to find the majority of people who have friends and remain friends with the likes of Wright, Ayers, Soros, Daley, Rezko, etc etc. And Obama has the audacity to claim McCain is out of touch with the American people (roll eyes).

If the DNC implodes,
All that means is that the GOP will then secure its place as the premier big government, liberal party. Why is that a good thing? We didn't defeat the Nazis to become them. Why do Republicans merely want to become Democrats? Solution? Vote against the one-party system. Vote 3rd party.
Perceptor II writes: Monday, August, 25, 2008 7:34 PM
DNC = implosion?
The Democratic Party has been a corrupt and incompetent group that can't govern their way out of a paper bag. What's saved them to this point is that 1) the Republicans haven't been much better, 2) the Republicans have been in charge (for the most part) for the last eight years, so voters haven't had much chance to see Democratic incompetence in all its glory.

That being said, I doubt that the Democrats will destroy their chances this week. That seems more like Republican wishful thinking to me. To quote Yogi Berra, "I'll believe it when I believe it."

intend this?

seen this before
Democrats go into the DNC thinking the race is won only to watch their chances implode.

This race reminds me of Dukakis in 1988 and Dinkins in 1989.

Yea, yea, yea...
Right up until Ted Kennedy takes the stage. Then, all the animosity will evaporate like a bad dream in the morning.
