Another Clinton Foreign Money Scandal?

Apparently, Hillary is considering using some of her own money to finance her campaign.
If she does, I can guarantee there'll be questions about the millions in foreign money Bill Clinton has racked up in speaking fees that's likely stashed in their joint checking account.
I wrote about this in the first chapter of my book .
Since leaving the White House, Clinton has earned more than $20 million in speaking fees from foreign sources in places like the People's Republic of China and Dubai, according to her Senate financial disclosure forms. They also share a joint checking account according to those same forms.
If Hillary uses that foreign money to finance her campaign she will have successfully exploited a loophole in campaign finance rules that forbids the use of foreign money in U.S. elections.
I dunno about you, but it sounds like the beginning of another classic Clinton financial scandal. And this comes on top of recent news that Bill's been courting uranium deals for the benefit of his foundation in Kazakhstan and looming questions about whether Bill would be more of a renegade global ambassador than First Gentleman in the White House.
Update: It's confirmed Clinton has loaned herself $5 million. The Clinton's personal wealth is estimated to be between $10 million and $50 million.

That no one ever mentioned the beaucoups of money that Rudy Giuliani made working as a consultant for shady characters from foreign governments (like the emir of Qatar, a man who harbored Khalid Sheikh Muhammed).
That's why real people don't take you conservatives seriously. You are too selective in your outrage. Giuliani's shady foreign contacts through Giuliani Partners--besides the shadiness of some of those 'partners' themselves, like Bernard Kerik--you could care less. But then you howl about innocuous speaking fees. Come on, you're a joke. |

EOR, The Republican establishment sent our children to war for what they knew were lies. This is a war crime. They knew this, and the documentation and testimony are available for anyone who wishes to look at it.

What do you know that we don't? They bought mansions in D.C. and N.Y., a million dollar penthouse in Ireland, and are working on some Caribbean habitat(!!!). Maybe that last is for a place to stash the kajillions. Huma bought a million dollar apt. in N.Y.C. The Saudi's gave poor old Bill ten million for his library and have since stated they have U.S.A. bought and paid for. And then there is Kajikistan--Bill again. I'm sorry--I don't trust the Clintons. It's not about our wonderful country--it's about the money with them. And don't get me started on the way they treat our military and the Secret Service. That REALLY ticks me off. |

The money was legitimately earned. If Clinton had spoken for free, you would have all said he was improperly giving favors. If he had refused to give the money to Hillary, you would have said he was being egocentric and selfish. If Hillary hadn't spent so much money the past month, you would have all said she was stingy and shortsighted and acting like the election should be given to her. You are petty, immature people who have caused great harm to the United States and to the world with your unbridled and unfounded hatred of the Clintons. Perhaps the Clintons are as bad as you say, though your "proof" is always biased and your "high standards" always malleable when it comes to someone YOU support. They are still better people than any of you, who gleefully supported the re-emergence of the Third Reich in America. You are phonies. And there are rivers of blood on your hands and in your eyes.
Sincerely,
Ted Tyson

Gee, Americans were so fed up with the Clintons that they reelected Bill in 1996 and now there is a decent chance to put them both back in the White House.
I sometimes wonder WTF is going on with this country. But these Clinton dopes have enough people who think they're just what the world needs, and campaign funding crap is not going to change their mind in the voting booth. |

Setting aside for a moment whether the "speaking fees" are as "earned" as, say, the buying and selling of goods:
Is Hillary having cash flow problems? Why does she need to "loan" her campaign $5M?
According to opensecrets.org, Clinton had about $38M in cash at the end of December (with about $5M in debt). http://www.opensecrets.org/politicians/summary.asp?CID=N00 000019
Has her campaign burned through all that, and whatever was raised in January?
Wow. Just "wow". |

Nope, afraid that will not matter either. |

Forget it, Ms. Carpenter. None of the scandals have put a dent in Clinton's momentum, and none ever will; people are simply nonchalant about them. Hillary Clinton is going to be our next President. You have Irving Kristol to thank for that. Be sure to express your gratitude to his son, William, and his fellow neocons. After all, they could not offer a more appealing brand of collectivism than the Democrats. With McCain as their final, logical end game of a candidate, you knew it had to happen. |

Should the husband of a presidential candidate — or even a U.S. senator — be in business with the head of a foreign country with growing interests in the U.S.? The obvious answer is no, but there is Bill Clinton in business with Ron Burkle and the Emir of Dubai. His wife might be elected president- -what exactly has he done to earn the $20 million dollar buyout from that partnership?
Then there is the brokered uranium mining deal where Bill Clinton flew with Canadian Billionaire Frank Giustra to Kazakhstan. The two had a lavish vacation with President (Dictator) Nazarbayev and Giustra was suddenly awarded the largest uranium mining deal ever..
After the deal was closed, Clinton’s foundation received a $31 million contribution from Giustra and a pledge of another $100 million.
We had Slick Willie, Can we afford to elect Slick Hilliary?
