Obama Can't Answer the Flag Question Without Lying
Posted by: Mary Katharine Ham at 12:12 PM
And, this one was posed by a regular citizen, not the eeevil, Republican tools-- Steph and Gibson:

Obama, last night: "I have never said that I don't wear flag pins or refuse to wear flag pins."

Obama, October 4, 2007:

"You know, the truth is that right after 9/11, I had a pin," Obama said. "Shortly after 9/11, particularly because as we're talking about the Iraq War, that became a substitute for I think true patriotism, which is speaking out on issues that are of importance to our national security, I decided I won't wear that pin on my chest."

that Obama has to be asked
in the first place is sad.

A pin doesn't prove anything, but...
the refusal to wear one does. He was wearing one, and then decided that it wasn't for him. That does seem to say something about how Dems view flag waving patriotism. I don't want my Republican party to have a monopoly on the flag, but it is the hostility to open pride in America by many on the left that is troubling. It was a good thing seeing a united country after 9/11, obviously its terrible how we got there, but the unity we had was good.

And as Fat Man said, lying about his previous statements is entirely relevant - he looks like a typical word parsing Democrat.

But is it silly

to measure a man's character by whether or not he tells the truth?

Or has character become an old-fashioned ideal no longer worthy of consideration in modern day politics?

Hannity's pin?
Your patron Saint, Sean Hannity, has been on TV for years without one. Care to spin that little fact?

Big fat hairy deal
Rather silly to measure a man's patriotism by whether he wears a flag on his lapel.
