Tonight, while the other GOP candidates debate in New Hampshire, Fred Thompson will air this ad ...
this insider and lobbyist's priorities speak to the elites; but, I'd rather have peace, freedom & liberty, then the rest will follow on their own. |
He's afraid to debate.
P. E. R. I. O. D. |

It seemed a bit tired and boring, and now to critique the commercial itself... Seriously, I expected a little more, I don't know what, but it seems like he isn't trying very hard. A webcast announcement so that he doesn't have to leave the comfort of the studio, some easy softball questions on leno so that he doesn't have to prepare and face the hard questions on the debate, and then a campaign commercial where he just speaks in platitudes about unity blah blah so that he doesn't have to address real issues. My ranking - Romney, Giuliani, McCain, Thompson. |
I am going to vote for Fred Thompson - but his commercials need to be better than that one. |
Does this mean that Fred will be playing the role of the President in his new TV show? |
... relax for a little while and SEE how Fred's stategy works out for him, I got just one request. Keep you fears to yourself.
No one cares that YOU don't approve of how Fred is startin' his campaign. IF y'all are right then we'll know soon enough. I truly don't understand WHY you are so wrapped up in style. It's not like Fred hasn't been traveling, writing, and just in general lettin' us know what he's thinkin'.
We get that y'all don't like FDT! But you're NOT doin' Mitt any favors by unloadin' on Fred. Heck, all you Mitt-en are just scared of Fred anyway. You can smell the fear in all yer posts. It just makes ya look so DESPERATE!
By the way- last time I looked there were still 48 other states besides NH and Iowa. And I know this will come as a shock to the MSM and all you pundits- But most of us DON'T CARE HOW NH OR IOWA VOTES! ( y'all remember of course President Dean and President McCain)
FDT the next POTUS! Yeah baby!

To stop at a couple places a day. To skip all the debates. To wait 6 months to announce to announce.
Doesn't sound like a guy who can beat Hillary cuase she sure won't have such a limited her daily schedule.
Fred, it's getting harder and harder not to believe the rumors of your laziness and lack of will.
Ex-tex - you got nothin now but begging people not to criticize Fred.
... just tryin' to teach you Mitt-en some manners! Obviously it ain't workin'.
P.S. I got lots more good stuff to say about FDT! YOU however have nuthin' to say except ugly stuff about Fred.
Poor Mitt- his own folks can't say anything good about him- all they're capable of is bashin' his opponents! |
I ain't sold on Mitt nor yet on Rudy, but Fred's looking less and less likely. And its not about the debates either - I actually kind of like that he won't appear in those foolish reality shows that we currently call the debates but I want Fred to be man enough to call them foolish and to boldly state that he won't, and why he won't appear in them.
Stand up and speak up, or shut up and sit down; you know? |
Now his site won't even load.
Good luck with that... |

Romney more intelligent than Fred - simultaneous Harvard law and business degress with honors.
Stellar success in business and public service.
Turned Olympic mess into a success and profit.
Governed as a true conservative. 100% rating from Citizens for Life in Mass. Fought gay marriage. Tough on illegal immigration. Fiscal conservative.
Leadership, organization and enthusiasm, all of which Fred sorely lacks.
Committment to traditional values. Marriage and family success. No random sex rumors. (Tennessee Stud.)
Articulate and quick thinking - Fred is having a lot of trouble here too.
I could go on, but why? There is simply no comparison between the 2. Romney is probably so looking forward to going after Fred for real.
