Clinton Speech Analysis ...

I agree with Pat Buchanan on this one.  Hillary was passionate about the issues, but her talk of Obama and McCain was perfunctory. 

She endorsed Obama -- but she didn't embrace Obama ...

Dick Morris, former Clinton aide, nailed it to a tee. He said that Hilary's performance (in her eyes) was to "outshine" Joe Biden...and make the public realize that she should have been chosen for Vice Pres. candidate. This in turn will hurt Barack Obama because of his poor choice. Joe Biden is chocked full of sound bite material that is going to be fully exploited! He is a loose cannon with a propensity to put his foot in his mouth! This should be fun... Hilary did a great job in bolstering her supporters, she was'nt pouring out the "love" to Obama, and if you watched Michele O's facial expressions during the speech, you could tell she was definately forcing a smile...she does'nt hide her discontent of Hilary very well. The Party is not going well, Convention, that is...Even the ultra-liberal James Carville was frustrated with the missed opportunities to rail against John McCain in front of a National audience. The speakers are preaching to the choir, same old lines....what else is new?

You have to be a professional actor to cover that up.

Given the circumstances, Hillary did just fine.
