Hill Would Congratulate Obama on 2,118?
Posted by: Mary Katharine Ham at 8:10 AM
Fox & Friends is reporting that Terry McAuliffe said Hillary would likely "congratulate" Obama if he meets the delegate threshold of 2,118.

Hillary, meanwhile, is ready to "do whatever it takes" to get a Dem in office in November.

"She will do whatever it takes to bring the party together to win and whatever is asked of her to make sure the Republicans are defeated."

That message has been conveyed to the Obama campaign via informal channels, according to Obama insiders who said the message is a signal that she would be willing to serve as his vice president.

Obama has picked up six superdelegates since Saturday to Hillary's two. If Hillary wants to find the path to the nomination, it lies this way: She'd have to pick up more than 80 percent of pledged delegates in tonight's contests and 90 percent of superdelegates after that fact. Good luck!

It's overtime
She did everything but congratulate Obama on 2,118 and drop out.

Did Obama
sand a public get well soon to Byrd? It was politically expedient for him to do that with Kennedy, but not to his best bud from WV?

How can Obama claim victory?
Neither he nor Hillary have enough "pledged" delegates and the supers don't actually vote until the convention. The superdelegates are like fickle lovers and can cross back and forth as many times as they want until their vote is recorded.

Obama is hoping Hillary withdraws from the race so he can claim her "pledged" delegates. I dont' see that happening. I think she will suspend her campaign and hang on to her delegates. The Dems can never be sure what will come along with Obama to upset his apple cart.

I've got my song for tomorrow picked out
It was a fun ride stirring the 'Rat pot, but it's over. The news is there is enough superdelegates waiting until this afternoon to endorse Barack Obama.

YEAH RIGHT
I call BS!

There is no way Hillary can honestly say she is ready to "do whatever it takes" to get a Democrat elected President!

In fact if Obama wins the Presidency, there will be a few people crying that night and their last names will not be McCain. It will be the Clintons as they realize there is now zero chance Hillary will ever be elected President.
