From the AP:
SANTA ANA, Calif. (AP) — U.S. immigration authorities to end "self-deportation" program after only 8 people volunteer.
Ya think? (I wrote about this program HERE awhile back.)

Both of our two major party candidates are promising them a free pass for breaking our laws!
No Country For Sheep
The primary responsibility of the U.S. government is to protect the territorial integrity and people of this country. They have completely abdicated this responsibility. Both parties have been complicit in this. We are being told it is not possible to control our borders, enforce our laws, and thereby control our destiny as a nation. Hogwash. We are being sold out by corporations intent on importing workers for jobs that can't be exported with the taxpayers paying the true costs, financial and human. If we act like sheep and don't stop the inundation across our borders, we will lose our country without a bleat. |
|
We the People of the United States of America have the right to have our borders and our laws respected and enforced.
Citizens of other countries illegally in our country have no right to demand anything from our government. They most certainly have the right to petition the governments of their home countries for change if they are unhappy with their home country. If they want to be Americans, we have a path to citizenship, more generous than any other nation, and it starts in their home country.
We need to insist on the equal protection, application and enforcement of the law or devolve into anarchy. Our Republic only functions if everyone follows the same rules. We should not change the laws to accomodate those breaking them.
If America annouces to the world "We can't stop you, so come on in" with another amnesty, the deluge will be overwhelming. If 3,000 a day didn't get your attention, then wait until it's 10,000 a day. We cannot sustain this influx and survive as a nation. We must speak up and speak to each other about this and not let false claims of racism or bigotry be used to intimidate us into silent assent. America is not Congress' to give away. America belongs to We the People. Speak to your neighbors, speak to your coworkers, but please speak up to your Congressmen and Senators. It's O.K. for us to enforce our laws, no really, it is.
Someone please tell Sen. McCain.

The Stupid Party
The RNC wants an amnesty candidate.
Don't vote for one.
Another amnesty will result in Democrat majorities for decades, or until they are supplanted by the La Raza Party, why doesn't the RNC know that? How stupid do you have to be to import voters for the opposition at the same time you alienate your own voters? Nominating any of the amnesty supporters is a losing proposition, we will not support them. If the GOP intends to surrender our sovereignty and abandon the rule of law, they will find in November 2008, that they still have their big money/cheap labor donors, but they do not have voters.

ever made anyone think this would work?
Oh well...good riddance to the 8 that were honest enough to leave. |
|
With all due respect. If the GOP thinks they can continue to import cheap labor for their donors at the expense of the citizens, they will. I will not vote for that again. If we continue to play the game of "the other guy is worse", we will lose our country. Sorry, but I will not participate in that game any longer. The GOP power brokers think we will vote for "anybody but a Democrat" so they can continue to ignore securing the borders and enforcing the laws. I was hoping GOP primary voters would give the party elites some surprises in the primaries. We never really got the chance. First choice Hunter, second choice Thompson, third choice Romney were all out before VA voted. I wanted to vote for a GOP candidate in Nov.'08, I will not vote for any amnesty supporter. If it takes crushing the GOP so a new party representing American citizens can arise, so be it.

John McCain has not changed his mind about "Comprehensive Immigration Reform", amnesty, at all.
http://townhall.com/columnists/AmandaCarpenter/2008/03/28/b loggers_press_mccain_adviser_on_immigration “John McCain’s position on immigration is very clear and this a question that gets asked at townhall appearances everyday in media appearances and has answered the question at least a thousand times before the New Hampshire primary,” Schmidt said.
He explained, “Any person who supports John McCain’s campaigns is a subscriber to John McCain’s views"
A vote for McCain is a vote for surrender of your country.
Your vote for McCain will be used as proof that you want amnesty.
Many of us see another amnesty as the end of the Republic, the stampede it will set off will be overwhelming. If we don't stop the inundation none of the rest matters. We'll be a banana republic before the jihadis can get us. There will never be another GOP president or Congressional majority. Importing voters for the socialists is as stupid as it gets.
McCain keeps saying "Secure the border first". We know that he means amnesty next. The plan is to get the border state Gov's to declare the border secure. Conveniently, they are all on board the cheap labor express. Then his good friend Ted Kennedy will bring back McCain/Kennedy and McCain can provide his good friends across the aisle with their new permanent majority.
I will not vote for amnesty.

|
But you are quiet fine with electing a guy who is more liberal than McCain on immigration. McCain wants to at least glean the criminals from those who are not. You will join with the Defeatocons who are intent on getting Barack Obama elected.
But you are right, Bill Ayers and the boys will support greater enforcement. |
|
They have purposely let the situation get worse to try to force us into another amnesty/guestworker/regularization, whatever euphamism it is this week. The media, unions, both parties, churches, and mostly the corrupt corporations employing them are working to undermine our sovereignty as a nation and our rule of law.
Until very recently there was practically NO enforcement. And the numbers are much higher than 8-10 million. We are being purposely misled. Most of what you hear about illegal aliens is propaganda to get us to give up our country without a fight. In 1986 we were told it was less than 1 million, turned out to be 3.6 million getting amnesty, a few of them were involved in bombing the WTC in 1993. This time we're being told 10 million, it is more like 20-30 million. Enforcement under Clinton was insufficient but looked robust compared to this administration. |
|
Why would we think that people who sneak into the country illegally would then come forward to be volunteeringly deported?
Those 8 who did must be the dumbest people ever. |
|
|
I will not vote for ANY amnesty supporter, McCain or Obama. If McCain stood up for American citizens and the rule of law, he would be worth voting for. He doesn't, so he's not. We don't need two traitorous parties. |
|
We need Comprehensive Immigration Enforcement, not reform. We need to restore respect for the law and the faith of the American people that their government is not selling them out. Amnesty for the illegal aliens is also amnesty for the corrupt companies who have been employing them. Money trumps everything, including love of country. Multi-nationals have no loyalty to country by definition, they see us as a market, not a nation. They see people as workers, documented or undocumented, no difference. If they can't send the work to where the labor is cheaper, then they want to bring the cheap labor here. If citizenship becomes meaningless, this is no longer The United States of America.
If we love our Constitution and our representative Republic and we intend to keep it we must not surrender our sovereignty or abandon the rule of law. Profits must not supercede security. We should not create a new path to citizenship. We have a path to citizenship, more generous than any other country, illegal aliens have ignored it and bad choices do have consequences.

The concept was too complicated for people as simple as Mexicans to understand. What we need is COMPREHENSIVE reform. Everyone understands amnesty. That leaves the complicated part for us "smarter" people to try to make work. The enforcement part is so much more complicated. I'm sure a guy who doesn't even know how many houses he owns (4? 7? 192?) can sort it out for us.
I guess that's we have pinhead dittocrats like Joe to help us understand why it is better to vote for the very "Republican" candidate we were fighting tooth and nail last year than to vote for a Democrat who has less experience furthering the exact same issues. Pay attention Slow Joe the Crossdresser. It isn't either/or. It is NEITHER.
Of course if you are stupid enough to buy into the fear-mongering and race-baiting, what hope is there that you can understand a concept that is that complicated. We have no other option in this free country than to vote for the United Establishment Party. (Cue the Merry Melodies "Th-th-th-th-th-th-that's all folks!" tune). |

Actively, consistently, continuously enforcing existing laws will send the message that we are serious about our laws. Changing them to accomodate people breaking them sends the opposite message. And not just to those already here. Millions are waiting to see which tack we take. Amnesty will set off a stampede like we have not seen before. Enforcement will start the flow in the other direction as the jobs and benefits dry up. Those pushing for amnesty are for surrendering to the demands of the illegal aliens and their employers, abandoning the rule of law and surrendering our sovereignty. We should not change the laws to suit those breaking them.
The primary responsibility of the U.S. government is to protect the territorial integrity and people of this country. They have completely abdicated this responsibility. Both parties have been complicit in this. We are being told it is not possible to control our borders, enforce our laws, and thereby control our destiny as a nation. Hogwash. If we act like sheep and don't stop the inundation across our borders, we will lose our country without a bleat.

20-30 million citizens of other countries are in our country illegally, 55% from Mexico, most of the rest from other Central and South American countries. Let's not ignore the leftward voting trends of these countries. It is notable that they picked May Day, an old communist day of celebration for their marches.
Most polls show at least half of the American citizens of Hispanic descent want the borders and laws enforced. Republicans will not win by alienating their current voters to get 40% of a new small block that will grow very large, very fast if amnesty is granted. That will grow the Democrats vote larger and faster as the influx increases exponentially as the result of another amnesty. It will spell the end of the Republican Party. The people who used to vote Republican will stop voting or form a new party. Conservatives will lose political influence and we will slide inexorably towards socialism (it has already started).
Most of what you hear about this issue is political propaganda that tries to convince you to give up your country without a fight, including on Fox News. The big money players are all on board the cheap labor express, they care not that American citizens do not want another amnesty. We know the last one resulted in 10 times the number of illegal aliens and a general disregard of our laws. The next one will be equally successful.

Are you saying that our government is lying to us? The same government that passed a comprehensive solution to save Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac three weeks ago? You know, that $25 billion bill that grants Treasury Secretary Paulson unspecified powers to spend unlimited amounts of taxpayer money? The bill that now most experts believe will cost at somewhere between $1-5 trillion? You are just being cynical. If we can't trust the government, who CAN we trust? |
|
This is not immigration. This is cheap labor importation. We are incensed by the outright betrayal of our elected representatives. After the last amnesty in 1986 we were promised that this situation could not happen as there were sanctions to be imposed on employers who hired illegal aliens. Laws are worthless without enforcement. There has been no enforcement because corrupt corporations have spent millions bribing corrupt politicians to make sure there is no enforcement. They want cheap labor that is only cheap for them, it is costing the citizens dearly. Now we are told that it is impossible to do anything except give up the rule of law. We must surrender our sovereignty so that some can profit handsomely. You are being sold out by both parties. |

would these Mexicans leave when our own Federal Govt allows them to drain our country and get free medical. I work in a County Hospital and they come in like a flood to have their babies and WE have to pay for it!! The Federal Govt will not work with our local govt who are trying to put a stop to these mexicans staying in their cities like Famers Branch and Irving and other cities throughout the USA. The Feds say no to our attempts. So it is up to us Americans to make it hard on the Mexicans so they will get their asses back where they belong. Soon we will have a WHITE HISTORY MONTH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |
