Obama Breaks Promise To Let Supporters Know VP Choice First
Posted by: Jonathan Garthwaite at 11:10 PM
Evan Bayh is out.  Tim Kaine is out.  Private planes and secret service and family members are headed to Sen. Joe Biden's home.  Gee, I wonder...

Unless this is one large head-fake, then the media sniffed out Obama's pick about 12 hours ahead of when supporters will get their exclusive-just-for-supporters-because-our-campaign-is-so-innovative text message.

Most of us always understand that the "text message" was a marketing gimick.  Just another sign that the Obama campaign is politics as usual -- just with a big pile of cash to play with.

Maybe McCain will think he can't win without Hill.

Biden
What happened to "hope" and "change?" And of course new politician?

Good Thing I did not sign for the text message. I would be quite miffed. I heard they are still intending to send it out. Really, is there any point.

OBots
over on HuffPost are not too happy. Many feel used, giving their digits over to be first to know. They have been waiting frantically all day and now this. They don't seem to mind the choice, they just don't feel special anymore.

Biden??? Where's the hope and change???
So much for Obama bringing hope and change for a new kind of Presidency.

Biden is a 30 year Senator who is extremely partisan. Please name ONE bill written by Biden that we worked with Republicans to pass in a bipartisan way.

Congratulations Biden
Congratulations to Joe Biden. He was the second biggest supporter of the Iraq war and called John McCain the bravest man he ever met.

It will be gret to see him on the attack

Is Biden at Home?
If it is Biden - at least he will know where his house is! McCain doesn't know how many houses he has or where they are - yea, that's the old guy we need for President alright.

VP HUCKABEE HELPS MCCAIN WIN in 2008!!!
MIKE HUCKABEE IS A FIGHTER AND ONE OF THE GREATEST COMMUNICATORS OF OUR TIME!

Most American's DO NOT favor abortion. Nor do they wish to align themselves with factions dedicated in butchering innocent babies inside and outside the womb. And NO, that baby is NOT the women's body; it is a separate body with a separate heartbeat and separate brain activity. And YES, the unborn baby FEELS PHYSICAL PAIN as it is being ripped out of what should be the safest place on earth - mother's womb!

The Planned Parenthood abortionists lie to young women all the time just to get their money, while those ex-mothers and ex-fathers suffer emotional distress as they realize everyday that they have just allowed a child killer to convince them, not only to take their money, but also to kill their precious little baby. Abortion STOPS A BEATING HEART and the future of a civilization.

People weep and wail over the loss of a High School football player destined for a great professional career who had been gunned down by a random shooter, but yet we will never know the great deficit future generations will suffer for the loss of over 50 million innocent babies in this country alone. Shame on America for tolerating this horror ... and shame on its citizens for tolerating their personal complacency. Pro-choice is a lie - Babies do not choose to die!

Away with this archaic freakish, barbaric practice! It will soon be done away with, along with these fake pro-abortion polling numbers! As long as the president chooses judicial nominees his Vice-president better be pro-Life if he is ever going to win an election.

"A nation that cannot protect its most innocent and helpless citizens and the sanctity of human life is a weak nation that will utterly collapse economically, socially, relationally and entirely." - HMH

Let me get this straight....the media dumping millions of dollars and an army of resources into tracking every step of the VP possibles winds up generating info before the text can go out....and that's somehow Obama Lying?

Wow....

You guys have really gone round the bend if you have to twist this too. I wonder what it's like living in a head that has foresworn logic and observation of fact....hmmm...

Obama
never said that the news wouldn't leak, he said that the official announcement would be made to supporters via text before the press. Obama hasn't officially stated anything. You people are so desperate to attack Obama, its kinda sad.

You could be right. Obama has to know that he can't win w/o Hill.

Obama's choice
My friend at the AP has learned from a reliable source in the Obama camp that he has picked Hillary, and the whole Biden story is a set up. Tomorrow will be a shocker.
Joe writes: Saturday, August, 23, 2008 12:31 AM
Biden? No way!
I did not think Barack Obama was that stupid. I guess he liked being called well spoken and clean by Biden.

I am shocked by his stupidity.
blissfullyignorant writes: Saturday, August, 23, 2008 12:02 AM
Not just marketing but another lie.
He cant hep it, he's a lawyer.
What do you have when you have a lawyer up to his neck in sand? not enuff sand.
CollegeRepublican writes: Friday, August, 22, 2008 11:50 PM
McCain....
...has it in the bag. More than 20% of Hillary supporters are STILL saying they won't vote for Obama, according to the latest poll a couple days ago. This news shouldn't do anything but cause those numbers to rise.
