The Wreck Of The Edmund Obama

As Scott Johnson notes, the Obama campaign is sinking fast. Unless Senator Obama moves quickly and decisively to completely repudiate Reverend Wright, his fall campaign will be doomed. (And even a complete repudiation of Wright may not save the nomination if Hillary Clinton stays to her own course and begins to talk about Michelle Obama's vision of America for the rest of the primary season.)
The audio and transcripts of Pastor Wright's 9/16/01 and 4/13/03 sermons are here.
The result of the combination of Senator Obama's "bitter" comments and Pastor Wright's and Michelle Obama's speeches and Hillary's decision to go negative on Obama? From AP:
Democratic Party members increasingly dislike the contender they are not supporting in the bruising nomination fight, an Associated Press- Yahoo News survey and exit polls of voters show. That is raising questions about how faithful some will be by the November general election.
In the AP-Yahoo poll—which has tracked the same 2,000 people since November—Barack Obama supporters with negative views of the New York senator have grown from 35 percent in November to 44 percent this month, including one-quarter with very unfavorable feelings.
Those Obama backers who don't like Hillary Rodham Clinton say they would vote for Republican candidate John McCain over her by a two-to- one margin, with many undecided.
As for Clinton supporters, those with unfavorable views of Obama have grown from 26 percent to 42 percent during this same period—including a doubling to 20 percent of those with very negative opinions.
And we thought Dean '04 was a train-wreck.
"He does not speak for me," Obama said yesterday, referring to Wright. "He does not speak for the campaign. He may make statements in the future that don't reflect my values or concerns."
The obvious questions: Why did Barack Obama stay in Wright's church for 20 years? And Michelle Obama certainly speaks for him --what about her "moving the bar" speech?
|
|
|
You are correct that Obama's lips appear cyanotic.(slightly purple and a medical term which has nothing whatsoever to do with the race of a person but the oxygenation of the bloodstream in case someone assuses the diagnosis of narfarious racism, cheeze) That is very, very concerning as he has been a smoker and still may be. |
|
It is my opinion we are witnessing the effects of my earlier point to you; that BO lacks the experience to hold the office of POTUS at this time. He is a neophyte in the arena of national politics, which is a far cry from his insular experiences representing South Chicago, where he was largely surrounded by like minded folks.
His ideas, behavior, choices and followers are all part of the "Greater Obama" picture. Any and all of those should and will be scrutinized as part of the vetting process that is inherent in a POTUS campaign. With more seasoning prior to his run, any hiccups (read: Wright, ayers, et al) would have been tested in the crucible of Public Opinion, and anything found lacking would have been jettisoned. Instead, that seasoning process is happening in real time, and we are witnessing the results. It looks amateurish at best.
As I tried to convey before, BO may be everything you say he is, I simply don't know enough about the man to make that pronouncement, and I'm not in near the hurry you seem to be in giving him the benefit of the doubt at every turn. I believe in the process to bubble up weaknesses and strengths (behavior, ability, ideas, choices) in candidates. I expect and welcome that process, and am content to let it play itself out. But, if it comes out in the end that BO is simply a naive, big hearted guy, then kiss his future as POTUS goodbye, and rightfully so IMHO.

sitting in the good field level seats up from 1st base with a racist McCarthyite. There's Hollywooders there and he may be held highly suspect by munching Super Dodger Dogs with a known...errr...oh...scratch that...None of the dipwads know I'm an Evil Reep Neocon. You're safe LL. |
|
Instead of Carly Simon, I prefer, James Taylor's "You Got A Friend". Old song. Brings sad memories! |
|
Yep, V-Pat, too many days in a row of *VIGFM in a row of weeks in a row of months...Dang! HE just has to reward Neo with a Sleazy West Coast TV Project soon. Such GOOD...Such Vast GOOOOOOD. Can a reward for Noble Neo be far away? I think NOT. (Then I remember the old truism: We Plan. God Laughs!) More VIGFM* tomorrow.
MaryS...I wouldda sworn you'd wrote that song, Girly!
*Vast Inexpressable GOOD For Mankind* |

Freudian slip, fo'ty fo'. I been tryin' to warn you about M'stella and your unconscious life. It may be too late. The symbolism is complex here, and deep, but it all boils down to a reworking of the archtypal "Sleeping Beauty" story - with twisted political meaning, in your case. Tonight you'll dream..perhaps of Marystella. You may wake up screaming. |
|
I am speechless. You make my heart sing! your gracious kindness Your recognition Surely springs joy and burst of cheerful songs just to express my heartfelt gratitude, out of the bright sunlight, and obscure Rev.Wright cheerfully, think of me? God Bless You Never miss an opportunity to make others happy. |
|

Saw the song, assumed MaryS, fell into swoon and realized I'd passed out on the poor lad, Scarlet.
EEEUUUUUuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuhhhHHHH!!
Sorry, Scar, GREAT Tune! |

You walked over the Party Like you were walking onto a Yacht Your finger strategically placed up high Keating almost got you caught You had one eye in the mirror as You watched yourself go by And all the Libs dreamed that they'd be your partner They'd be your partner and
You're so McCain I bet you think this country's about you You're so McCain I bet you think this country's about you Don't you? Don't you?
You had me several years ago When I was still quite naive And then you lost the 2000 election year But you said you would never leave Now you're trashing all the things I love You push for amnesty All the cons dreams, they were clouds in my coffee Clouds in my coffee, and
You're so McCain I bet you think this country's about you You're so McCain I bet you think this country's about you Don't you? Don't you?
All of our dreams they were just clouds in my coffee Clouds in my coffee, and
You're so McCain I bet you think this country's about you You're so McCain I bet you think this country's about you Don't you? Don't you?
Well, I hear you teamed up with Russ Feingold And your bill naturally won Then you flew your Lear jet to Hyannisport To get Teddy's advice how to run Well, you're blocking judges all the time And when you're not, you start to suck up to some Media Guy or the Dem/libs Yeah all those Dem/libs and,
You're so McCain I bet you think this country's about you You're so McCain I bet you think this country's about you Don't you? Don't you?
(that's Mick on background vocals)
Forgive me, Carly Simon, for doing this to your fantastic song.

Respond to nonsensical non sequiturs, racist rubbish, personal provocations, and idiotic incantations? Certainly not:) |
|
"And nether he, nor you, nor I need respond to these self-righteous fools."
So that means you fellows aren't going to post here and defend Obama anymore? Pity. I shall miss you.
|
|
It doesn't matter. McCain romps in November.
+ + + |

1.)"I just now realized that my husband, Bill, has been serial philandering with hundreds of sleazy bimbos...excuse me...other women for the past thirty-plus years. I may have suspected from time to time...a little something.. but, I trusted and believed my Billy until yesterday. But, there he was in that bordello in Yemen when he was supposed to be putting another $200K per speech in our overseas accounts. That's a fact. Thank you...Thank you very much." (Senator Hillary Clinton at her News Conference, 4-29-2008.)
2.)"I've announced today that I'm throwing my 20-year spiritual advisor and mentor under the F***ING BUS because his recently expressed...errrr....OUTED...views are not shared by me, the delicate-joyous Michelle or our kids. My only excuse, TRUST ME, is that as an Affirmative Action aided student at Harvard, I was secretly too stupid, tin eared and CLUELESS to ever be prepared to GET a Revrund Wright Type Grifter and Hater. Even though I should have got my ambitious bones outta that church fifteen years ago, AT LEAST, or, failing that piece of integrity and guts, should have been smart enough to have tossed his crazy a** under the bus 2 or 3 months ago when this Sh!t first hit the fan. And, now I'll take questions from anyone from The Nation, Mother Jones, Keith Olberman or Chris Matthew's shows. Thank you." (Senator Obama at his News Conference, 4-29-2008.) |
|
would be happy to have their mentor speak for them. The very use of the word mentor implies that a person's career has been guided by this person.
Kind of hard to claim that your mentor holds different views from yourself. Exactly what did Rev. Wright mentor BOAF Obama in? |
|
Agreed. Obama is probably the most honorable man who has run for President in my lifetime. I'm proud to support him. And nether he, nor you, nor I need respond to these self-righteous fools.
Oh, and a Dodger game with Neo sounds terrific:) |

A congressional candidate is defending his speech to a group celebrating the anniversary of Adolf Hitler's birth, saying he appeared simply because he was asked.
Tony Zirkle, who is seeking the Republican nomination in Indiana's 2nd District, stood in front of a painting of Hitler, next to people wearing swastika armbands and with a swastika flag in the background for the speech to the American National Socialist Workers Party in Chicago on Sunday.
"I'll speak before any group that invites me," Zirkle said Monday. "I've spoken on an African-American radio station in Atlanta".
Follow the link and see a great pic of him in front of the swaztika:) |

..you understand, don't you, that the Presidency is being decided right now. Mac is an afterthought. The one who wins here will take office in January. Which is why the fight is so intense. |
|
In the final analysis, Barack does not need to answer to the sanctimonious clowns in here. Their stern finger-wagging is insipid and morally bankrupt. Americans have a sense of fair-play and longer-term it will redound to Barack's benefit.
BHO may not always be the greatest politician, but he is a good and honorable man. As Andrew Sullivan points out, no one can say Barack threw Rev. Wright under the bus, and in that, Barack differs from his contemporaries. Rather, Rev. Wright threw Barack under the bus. In the end, integrity prevails.. |
|
|
Two polls in Indiana now show Hillary with a nice lead. One is 9 points and another is 8 points. Obama's lead in N.C. is down to 5 points. One week to go. Looks like Hillary is going to take wonder boy to the woodshed. |
|
|
hilarious, the death spiral continues unabated, operation chaos, working perfectly, and oh, NEXT, brigs-blojob, why, NEXT, is the sound of you and Hussein hitting the pavement at 110 mph, all your "hope and change", all DOA, thats whats NEXT..... |
|
Clarityseeker,
And I'm sure that the Laborlawyer will respond with some nonsense that you're projecting "y-o-u-r" nefarious views about race onto Reverend Wrong.
...and despite that, Neo will still tell Laborlawyer it's great to see him at Townhall, and that they should get together for a beer and watch a Dodger game.
Oy vey. |
|
For the future of the Democrat party Obama needs to step aside right now. He and his pastor will destroy the party. All the democrat leaders need to have this discussion with Obama. He and his pastor have told too many lies and it's over. |
|
Your 9:10 AM comments are spot on. I have not been supportive, nor party to this idea of, "operation chaos". I did not care about whether it works or not. It runs counter to my sense of what is the right thing to do. Like you, I believed, continue to, that our role as conservatives, during this period, is best as spectator. Talking on these threads does very little if anything to contribute to the national discourse on these issues. The Democrats created this climate, this environment they find themselves in. it should be theirs to resolve.
All that said, we are nearly ready to close out 2 years of DEMOCRAT PARTY rule in congress. Nancy Pelosi committed to the voter they could do a better job. I guess we are seeing her declaration come true: 1.) I did not know she meant oil prices at $120.00 barrel. 2.) I did not know she meant wheat prices doubling in the past two years.
Exactly what has Nancy Pelosi, Harry Reid done over these past two years to follow through on their promise to America? |
|
...and what you are identifying is the bewilderment that I experience in seeing this guy, ONLY NOW, come out against this tripe which Wright has been spewing for Obama's entire tenure.
Question: How has Jeremiah Wright "changed" his message; the one delivered yesterday from ones he delivered 5 years ago, 10 years ago, 15 years ago, 20 years ago?
I have never once attributed any of Jeremiah Wright's views, ideas with those espoused by Obama. However, his incredible poor judgement in nurturing his relationship with Jeremiah is beyond comprehension. |
|
Laborlawyer reports that Obama said; --------------- "If Reverend Wright thinks that is political posturing on my part, he does not know me very well. And based on his remarks yesterday, well, I might not know him as well as I thought, either." ---------------
That's baloney.
On Monday, Reverend Wrong spewed the s-a-m-e nonsense that he has been preaching from the pulpit for the 22 years that Obama listened to in his church.
For Obama to now suggest that he's offended by it all, is very dishonest.
The time for Obama to condemn it, would have been 22 years ago, by walking out of the church.
Choosing Reverend Wrong as his mentor is a reflection of Obama's judgment. After all, Obama won't even condemn an unrepentant terrorist who planted bombs at American targets. |
|
|
I care. I care enough to know whether Obama will say WHEN he met the "the person he saw yesterday." That Rev. Wright has been around for quite awhile, maybe not 20 years ago, but definitely within the past 10. That Obama is just NOW engaging in damage control waaayy after when he should have piloted his ship away from these torpedoes speaks volumes to his judgement - which stinks. And now his boat appears to be taking on water in Hilliray (aka shark) infested waters. This guy is not very bright in the way we were lead to believe. It's almost laughable if it didn't speak so poorly of the Democratic talent pool. |
|
There's an awful lot of folks getting thrown under the bus on this thread. Think I'll just hit the Carefree Highway at Sundown with all the other Rainy Day People before I'm the one left High and Dry.........
|
|
|
Fine words, but may have come too late to save his campaign. He should have said this weeks ago. |
|
|
"Paddy, you're fired! OHM, you're hired! Check back tomorrow on who'll be singing then. It might be Joe. It sure won't be that guano fellow, he ain't got no logarithm." |
|
Here's what Obama said today:
"I'm outraged by the comments that were made and saddened by the spectacle that we saw yesterday. I have been a member of Trinity United Church of Christ since 1992 and have known Jeremiah Wright for almost 22 years. The person I saw yesterday was not the person I met 20 years ago. His comments were not only divisive and destructive, but they also give comfort to those that prey on hate and I believe they do not accurately portray the perspective of the black church. They certainly do not accurately portray my values and beliefs. If Reverend Wright thinks that is political posturing on my part, he does not know me very well. And based on his remarks yesterday, well, I might not know him as well as I thought, either.
I have already denounced those comments that have come out of these previous sermons. I gave him the benefit of the doubt in my speech in Philadelphia, explaining that he has done enormous good in the church, has built a wonderful conversation. They are a wonderful people and what attracted me has always been the ministries reach beyond church walls. But when he states and then amplifies such ridiculous propositions, that the U.S. government is involved in AIDS, when he suggests that Louis Farrakhan represents one of the greatest voices of the 21st century, when he equates the United States' wartime effort with terrorism, then there are no excuses. They offend me, they rightfully offend all Americans, and they should be denounced. That is what I am doing very clearly and unequivocally here today.
I have spent my entire adult life trying to bridge the gap between different kinds of people. That's in my DNA, trying to promote mutual understanding to insist that we all share common hopes and common dreams as Americans and as human beings. That's who I am, that's what I believe, and that's what this campaign has been about."
|
|
houlios1 asks: "Is anyone who has ever been a member of the Falwell, Robertson, Hagee congregations automatically unfit for the office of president?"
In my opinion, ANYONE who claims Hagee has been his "spiritual mentor" for the past 20 years would have a tough time convincing voters that he's qualified for the Presidency.
Fortunately, no candidate who ran for office this year had Hagee as his "spiritual mentor," so this issue didn't arise.

As we post, Obama is denying any Wright influence on the campaign. He is flushing Wright. We shall see if the campaign now goes on a positive trend to overkill Michelle's rotten comments. This Messiah is an incompetent socialist pacifist who should be denounced by all Reagan Dems, Indies, and Pubs. If Pubs cross to this guy, they are nuts. He is far more dangerous than ole John or even the Hildabeast. Still, Obama might be easier for John to beat now and if Hil goes on to secure the nomination, can you see the black Dems reacting as well as the MSM mewing and perhaps John will actually now go to secure his conservative BASE. If he does not, Hil could slip in and the entire Operation Chaos will have been a failure. |
|
"If Democrats Could Read Obama's Mind" ------------------
"I'd walk away like a movie star Who gets burned in a three way script Enter number two A movie queen to play the scene Of bringing all the good things out in me But for now love, let's be real I never thought I could act this way And I've got to say that I just don't get it I don't know where we went wrong But the feeling's gone And I just can't get it back"
|

|
(aka paddy) is back in studio recording campaign songs for Hilliray. |
|
....the press attache came in he said "Fellas it's too rough to feed you...." Turn on CNN, there's the reverand again he said "Fellas it's been good to know ya...." |
|
He makes his campaign with overwhelming strength, conviction, articulation, that it his is about "TRANSCENDING RACE". Building racial "bridges".
Then, lo and behold, the public discovers (not through the MSM--but through Hillary Clinton's releasing of information) that this candidate claims as his, "spiritual advisor", his pastor, the man who conducted matrimonial services for him, baptized both his daughters, presides over a church which is RACE-CENTERED, AFRO-CENTRIC in its teachings, its black liberation theology.
America is introduced to the hate-spew within black liberation theology, for many of these Americans, a first-time primer on these deeply held beliefs. And for these Americans, it is deeply related to this young Democrat party candidate who has an incredibly thin resume for the job he's seeking.
SO, you bitter Americans-----don't you know what you're supposed to do at this point? That's correct, "lower the bar".
1. Stop your attempts to find out who this candidate is, and his relationship with a proud, self-proclaimed terrorist, in Bill Ayers. Stop your questioning of a 20 year relationship with a candidate who makes it clear his relationship with his pastor is a loyal one of 20 plus years. His pastor says specifically, "An attack on Obama is an attack on black churches". Oh, Really?
2.) So what that he has less than 2 years experience in national politics as a senator from Illinois. If you ask questions of him, you are labelled a racist. By Liberals. |
|
Virginia Patriot wrote; ---------------------------- "Fear Is McCain's Only Hope" ----------------------------
Virginia Patriot, some things are worth fearing.
I do fear a President who is a radical left wing nut who wants to punitively raise my taxes, nominate screaming lefties to the federal judiciary, and appease Islamic Jihad. I do fear having a President who is so morally confused that he cannot bring himself to condemn an unrepentant terrorist who planted bombs at American targets.
Virginia Patriot, you obviously do not fear the aforementioned things.
Rather, you fear a President McCain---just like the lefties do. |
|
The first paragraph in my first post was a quote from upstream, not something I wrote personally.
As much as I loathe the woman, I wouldn't call her fat.
A cold-blooded reptile who probably feasts on kittens, yes.
But not fat. |

to the delighted benefit of the Evil One Hillary Thunderthighs Clinton.
This has to be the most juvenile post ever.
You don't even want to hear about Michele's butt. |

I'm not a quite as enmoured with the man as some (Sullivan comes to mind), and to be quite honest, the cynic in me expects little more from an Obama presidency than a nicer face in dealing with the rest of the world.
Too many people have too much invested and gain too much lucre from the government to let it change easily.
I don't expect change from either party until it is forced on us by circumstances we can no longer control or legislate away. |
|
|
If Obama wins the Office I sincerely think that he will have a very hard time implementing what he claims to want. The Founders set it up to be difficult. Ask Reagan, Billy Jeff, and W. So all these pavlovian Repubs running around scared amuses me. |

Obama’s “Joy to the World”
Jeremiah was a preacher Was a good friend of mine I said I never heard ev’ry single word he said But I sat there all the time Yes I sat there all the time As he was singin'...

"I am really getting nervous now that the incredibly stupid "operation chaos" and all the piling on by conservative commentators on the Obama campaign, to the delighted benefit of the Evil One Hillary Thunderthighs Clinton ("What? Me Lie?!") is making into reality the stupidest thing the Stupid Party has ever done ... i.e., the rescuscitation of the Clinton campaign."
Because as much as they profess to hate her, they have more in common with her than they'd like to admit.
A second Clinton administration would mean a continuance of government expansion and handouts to favored interests, a continuance of neocon foreign policy, and a continuance of the doctine of Executive supremacy.
An Obama administration might mean the same (he is, after all, a politician), but he is less of a known entity and has been in Washington for a much shorter period of time, so he may still have some crazy reformist ideas that haven't been beaten out of him yet, so why take that chance? |
|
No Border Security/No National Security
You keep doing this everyday. This is not the subject under discussion. |
|
You simply CANNOT have national security if you will not defend your own borders or enforce your own laws. Foreign nationals numbering in the thousands are entering our country at will daily. John McCain has done and will do NOTHING to stop it. Don't believe me? Ask Juan Hernandez! |
|
|
In the Middle East and Africa WOULD put Wright in chains. White Christians got rid of slavery a long time ago. Muslems still practice it. |
|
Drexel said: "The sad fact for the democrats is that these two represented the best the Democrats had to offer."
And by similar logic, McCain is the best the Republicans have to offer. This is a sad commentary on politics all around. My opinion, FWIW, is that what we tend to get as politicians today are mainstream media favorites because so-called journalists and their editors shape political opinions and strongly influence selection of our candidates. That has become ever more obvious in this campaign season. The media aren't even bothering to pretend objectivity any more. |
|
I'm no expert, but if Wright hadn't told us, I would have never considered him black.
Opening him up to public exposure has no doubt set race relations back several years. Just when we thought there was some "hope," we find that, according to him, the entire black church is exactly like his.
Of course, it's not (I don't think), but now the whole black community is on the defensive. It's a nightmare that will have ramifications for years to come. His ego would just not let him lay low for the sake of everyone. He had to come out swinging.
Interesting how some people "choose" to be black and make a lucrative career out of it. |
|
|
For all the talk of the demise of the GOP, this campaign seems more and more to foretell the demise of the Democrats. Hillary, despite her belief that her ascension has be preordained, has a low ceiling and a high floor. Obama continues to manifest himself as a divisive candidate, creating his own new voting demographic within his party, one that surely will never be as influential as, say, the evangelicals have been for the GOP. It is no wonder that Clinton supporters would sooner vote for McCain, the two have significantly more in common and, to their credit, Clinton supporters can see through the audacity of hype. The sad fact for the democrats is that these two represented the best the Democrats had to offer. Perhaps it is a tacit admission of poor policy that the Democrats chose two candidates who are best known for their celebrity status and not their policies or experience. If the policy postulates of the democrats had more merit, a "celebrity" wouldn't have be needed to endorse those policies. |
|
If skin color in and of itself meant anything at all, isn't Wright a lot lighter than Barak (who is half white to start)? As they say, Jeremiah is high yellow. More milky latte than black coffee. Better get the SPF 30+ when you go to beach Reverend.
So which half of his brain, black or white, makes him such a jerk? |
|
"Louis Farrakhan is not my enemy. He did not put me in chains, he did not put me in slavery, and he didn’t make me this color."
He did not make me this color ? So is the true enemy God ? I still find it beyond unbelievable that Obam'a never picked up on this for 20 years. Do we really want someone this dense to be president. For 8 years the democrats have been railing on Bush's intelligence. Sorry guys my guy is a whole lot smarter than Obama. If we are to believe Obama he would need someone to dress him and tie his shoes. So maybe it's true Michele is the brains? |
|
You are so right (in more ways than one.) I sure wish we could re-do our primary...you remember the one where the Pubs (and others) voted for McCain because he was the only one who could beat the Dems?
I went into this election, thinking Anybody-But-Hillary. Right now, Mack is making everybody look good. Does he have all his marbles? |
|
The legend lives on from Ohio on down To the bitter state they call Pennsylvania Those states, it is said, never gives up their dead When the skies of November turn gloomy.
With a load of delegates - 1726 or more Than the Edmund Obama weighed empty That good ship and true was a bone to be chewed When the gales of November came early
The ship was the pride of the Liberal side Coming from community action in Chicago As candidates go it was different than most But with a crew and the Captain unseasoned.
Concluding some terms with some Super Delegates When they left fully loaded for Indiana And later that night when the ships bell rang Could it be the Wright Wind they'd been feeling.
The reports on the wires made a tattletale sound As the story broke the Main Stream Media And every man knew, as the Captain did, too, T'was the witch of November come stealing.
|
|
I heard McCain called Obama to see what would be okay to talk about next. McCain even has his next Republican targets picked out.
This election is exciting isn't it? Sean Hannity said it best, "Never underestimate a Republican's ability to lose an election." |
|
Let's repress Truth so John the Maverick can win!
That's right Repubs, this is what you've come to. Give us cons a call when you're ready to get back on track. |
|
Obama should drop out and give his delegates to Wright, who has usurped the campaign anyway. At least we know what Wright believes, and unlike Obama, he is his own man.
Why take things second hand when we can get the author and finisher of The Audacity of Hope unfiltered thru Obama's wishy washy speeches? |
|
Obama needs to explain this relationship. First he said the pastor was not invited to Springfield for Obama's predsidental announcement. Now the reverend says he was invited and he was there. Obama stated the pastor apologized for all the negative sermons. This was a big lie. He never apologized. Obama stated he never attended a sermon where the pastor had preached this kind of hatred. This pastor does not apologize and has made it perfectly clear this is the only thing he preaches about. This is the preachers whole persona. Hate and victimization. It is obvious Obama lied again. He not only condoned this trash but indoctinated it into his children. OK Obama it's time to come clean.
|
|
Is anyone who has ever been a member of the Falwell, Robertson, Hagee congregations automatically unfit for the office of president?
|
|
it. He makes no comment on the content of his "former pastor"'s rhetoric.
"And we thought Dean '04 was a train-wreck."
Comparing Dean's derailment to this is like comparing a Lionel to a GE AC4400. |
|
"I can no more disown [Wright] than I can disown the black community." Barak Obama
So if Obama disowns Wright, he is also throwing the black community.
For a man as smart as Obama, how did he get himself in this fix? |
|
|
In a way, I wish this train wrecked had happened after Obama was the Demo candidate because I'm afraid of Hillary winning in November and can't stand McCain. And I've always felt she was the stronger of the three. I hope I'm wrong. |
|
"be careful what you wish for"
I am really getting nervous now that the incredibly stupid "operation chaos" and all the piling on by conservative commentators on the Obama campaign, to the delighted benefit of the Evil One Hillary Thunderthighs Clinton ("What? Me Lie?!") is making into reality the stupidest thing the Stupid Party has ever done ... i.e., the rescuscitation of the Clinton campaign.
C'mon Hugh, and all the other conservative commentators ... do you really want to be running against a fully-revived, revved up Broomstick Pilot who can lay claim to the ultimate, uber-Comeback Kid label?
We should all just chill out, and let the Dems do their thing, and hope and pray that Barrack Obama is the Dem nominee come August. If Hillary manages to come back from the dead, she will not be denied! And we will all rue the decision by Rush and Hewitt and many other so-called right wing smart guys to join forces with the Evil One.

Remember just awhile ago Obama was the post racial candidate who would bring us all together?
Now Wright and his enabler Obama have set race relations back in this country 40 years. Between his rants about genetic differences bewteen races and his hatred for America while living in a mansion, white Americans are asking themselves, why bother trying to make a difference anymore? |
